I have wide feet. Love the Alegria Paloma, which saved my feet after struggling with a neuroma and plantar fasciitis. But they are clunky shoes, and not very pretty. These Alegria Petal shoes are great-are cute ballet style flats with good arch supports. I wear 7.5, but they were too short, however they were wide enough for my wide feet. Ordered size 8- fit well, am ordering other colors!!!

Okay, if this shoe isn't fitting quite as well as your other Alegrias, take out the insole and remove the pink liner! I can't believe what a different that slim liner made to the toe box. (I read this on another site.) I'm super happy that the fit just improved and I'm walking out the door with them.

I think these shoes are adorable, but they're just too wide for my feet (and I have wide feet). I normally wear a 9, and my toes hit the front of the toebox. I had the same issue with the 9 1/2 AND my heel kept slipping out, no matter what kind of socks I tried. It's not just wide at the widest part of the foot, but also at the toes, which is why I think my foot kept sliding too far forward in the shoe. I'll stick to Alegria sandals from now on.

I can only wear Alegria's and this is my first pair in this style but they are really cute and look dressier for skirts than some others. Very comfortable!

After reading the reviews, I ordered 1/2 size smaller than normal. Upon receipt, I thought they were too small, so ordered my regular size intending to return the first pair. The second pair were too large. I walked out of them, so I kept the 1/2 size smaller and returned the 2nd pair. The smaller shoe fits my right foot perfectly, but the left shoe is too big. I stuffed material into the left shoe. They both now fit perfectly.

This flat would be fabulous for someone with normal feet who wants some support. About the only thing thin on me is my heel and they are a bit too wide for my difficult to fit foot. But I bet they would be great on you! Try them.

Finally figured out the right Alegria shoe for me, after trying several styles this is the best and most comfy shoe I've purchased. I live in NYC and do a lot of walking and have bad knees so I'm constantly looking for comfy shoes, these are perfect. The sole of the shoe is very comfortable - now I need to find the perfect Alegria sandal and I'll be set.

Finally! A non-maryjane style! Bought the Gemboree. Lovely. Fit is good with plenty of toe room. Little low cut on top for bunions. Was told to take out thin bottom layer on inside sole. Really helped. I'm still stretching the area over my bunion. The arch and overall comfort of this shoe is wonderful. Same supportive Alegria insole. I'm supposed to have a stiff sole. This has some flex, but still very strong. Enough for me to order another pair in blue. This shoe has more sleek, feminine appeal, compared with the Alegria Belle. I miss the little butterfly logo on this shoe. Was so cute. And it did not come with a little rubber Alegria shoe! Been saving them for my Grandchildren.

Alegria have become one of my favorite comfort shoe brands. This particular shoe is a little 'short' in the toe, so you may need to go up a half size. Lightweight socks should take up any extra room and not be too tight. And they're cute too!

Shoe is very comfortable. Unfortunately my rt ft is shorter than my left so I have to put in some additional insole to make most shoes work. The heel on this shoe is just too wide and I could not get keep the rt shoe on

Really cute shoe but made my foot look like a small boat...not like my Anhus. But would have kept them for the good arch support, except that my normal size, 8.5, was a hair too short for my toes on one foot but too long on the other foot. I tried a heel liner to correct that situation but then it was too short. Arghh. Going back to Ahnus.

This is a very pretty shoe. I chose this style, because I looked for shoes that work for a high instep, but these cut across my instep just like my Clark's shoes do. I will send them back.

I was very disappointed with these shoes. They run large and they don’t have the same rocker bottom that all the other styles have. Unfortunately I have to send them back. I have about a dozen pairs of Alegria shoes. This is the first pair that I have been disappointed with.

These are really comfortable but they do run big.

I am still deciding whether to keep these shoes or not. When I ordered the style in a 7 it was much too big and my feet were sliding out of the shoes. I re-ordered the shoes in a 6.5 and was glad that my normal size was still in stock. I thought the shoes were very cute.It is my first pair of Alegria Petal shoes and I should get used to them fitting maybe a little different.I might need to put in a shoe cushion. I have two different sized feet.

I am so conflicted on these. Background info- I am normally a 6, although I have a few shoes here and there that are 6 1/2. I have a relatively narrow foot- I work many long shifts on my feet so after a few days working, I'd say the width of my foot is more in the realm of "normal" rather than "narrow". Given that state of fluctuation that my foot goes through on any given week is why I feel like although this shoe might not be right for me - it could be right for you. I first ordered a 6. I knew right away that where the toe box hit, I would need a 6 1/2. It fit comfortably everywhere else. I own ballet style sneaker flats from Skechers (I've gone through many pairs of those) and while I love those, I hate that they don't give me arch support. At the end of a long shift, I'd find myself standing on my tippy toes to stretch the arch of my foot and calves to get some relief from feeling so flat-footed. I could tell that these shoes would give me that sneaker ballet style that I liked but also A LOT more arch support than my skechers... so I found another retailer that had a 6 1/2 in stock. Ordered those. I wore them for a few hours last night and am not sure I will keep them. Arch support? Yes. They are not clunky like a lot of these "comfort" style shoes usually are but the toe box does give off somewhat of a clown shoe vibe.. I noticed throughout the night that the firmness of the sole was kind of affecting my "gait" if you will which also kind of added to the clown effect. I'm not sure if they simply need to be broken in or if I will be returning them. I often benefit from detailed reviews like this one so I'm writing this in hopes of paying it forward. If you are in the market for a sneaker style ballet flat with excellent arch support, I would try the Therafit brand (available on Zappos).

These cut directly across the top of my bunion and were too painful for me to even notice if they were cushioned or not. Back they go! Too bad, because the plaid print was very cute.

I ordered a half size down and they were still a half size too large. I recommend ordering a full size down. Excellent arch support - for a flat/ballerina shoe.

I was so happy to see the Petal shoe in the Alegria section - finally a ballet type shoe. I have 3 pairs of Alegria sandals, which I just love. They are the ultimate in comfort and support. I ordered the color Gold Flake, which seemed a tad sparkly, but there was no beige color offered. In person, the Gold Flake is really sparkly, not to my taste - but, if they were comfortable I would have kept them. I ordered a size 9 and a size 9 1/2 because I sometimes take either one in a closed toe shoe. My other Alegrias are a Euro size 39. The size 9's were at least a half size too large. The Petal also does not have nearly the arch support of my Alegria sandals. I took the removable liner out to replace it with a liner I have with a more aggressive arch support and discovered another pink liner under the cork one, which could be removed, according to the stamp on it to make the shoe wider. The arch support was better with my liner, but, of course, the shoe was too large. I would purchase a smaller size, but hesitate to do so because the color was really different and, unfortunately, the side of the shoe was rubbing on a small bunion I have even with the additional pink liner removed.

Very pretty shoes. I have several pairs of Alegria and love them, but these shoes just didn't fit right. They were painfully tight across the toes and extremely loose in the heel. I had to return them.

I am an Alegria freak! These shoes are very cute and comphy. I do have to return them. I ordered the normal size that I wear in Alegria and they were whole size to big.
