Exercising Leap of Faith I ordered this Birki sandal having returned several pair of other brands. Perhaps reading endless reviews of hard footbed vs soft footbed among the endless styles, had my brain very confused. I liked the unusual coverage of toes (my ugly toes) and the straps reaching far far back near the heel, ALLOWS for NO FLOPPING which I cannot stand. SO, yes I am amazingly and pleasantly surprised of fit and comfort. I have a thin, narrow foot.....the 37 was perfect from git go. Left foot/arch is somewhat collapsed making less perfect but I'm tweaking. I AM nearly 78 yrs of age, owning/wearing Birki's was on my bucket list. I am delighted and surprised the comfort so quickly eventhough I am in the break in stage. THANK YOU Zappos! I ordered at 1:15PM Thurs, 25 hrs later they were on my porch! WHO CAN BEAT THAT? NO ONE!

I liked the look of these shoes, but they did not fit my feet. They were too narrow and long. Unfortunately, they are only available in narrow (which is allegedly medium width). Had to return.

Perfect fit!

I purchased this blue sandal in Heidelberg, Germany, 7 years ago. It was, and continues to be the best sandal I have ever had. Because of that, I ordered a pair in tan but it is too big and cannot be fixed by the shoemaker. It does work with a pair of heavy sox but that defeats the purpose of a summer shoe. Zappo, please stock this sandal in 39 in other colors. THANK YOU. Hanne

LOVE these shoes!! I'm a dedicated Birkenstock wearer from the day that it's warm enough to do so until it gets too cold. I've loved this style for a while but hesitated because of the advertised narrow width. I have fairly wide feet. I took a chance and ordered the size I usually wear but they were too narrow and my feet were poking out through the straps. Opposite of cute. Zappos finally got in the next size up and I bought them immediately. That solved my issues. I've gotten so many positive comments about them. LOVE. And the navy color is great.

Bought these for my mom and the fit is great. Extra coverage and doesn’t hurt her bunions. ?

Listed as narrow but will fit an average foot. Very nice comfortable sandal.

Went to a local Birkenstock’ Store and tried them on. They didn’t have navy so I ordered them online. Great service. Like them because they don’t look like a traditional Birkenstock sandal. A bit dressier. Zero ‘break it time’. I am a teacher and on my feet most of the day. My back is happy. I am happy. Wish they came in red. also.

Had to order one size down but love the fit. I like the style a bit better than the Arizona. Definitely would recommend.

I had yo exchange these sandals 3 times to be able to find the right fit. I ended up keeping the first size that I had ordered, which is my regular American size 6.5. I like the look of Birkenstock sandals but I have a crooked toe that I do not wish to show and usually Birkenstocks have very open toes. Not his one! These sandals hide my ugly toes and I can finally can wear a Birkenstock!

Best slippers ever. I use these in winter with fluffy socks and rest of year "au natural". Great for around the house, outside and anywhere in between. Narrow for Birkenstock so they fit perfect. Can's say I'd ever call Birkenstock stylish but you can if you want to.

These are my second pair of Birks and I love them just as much as my first pair!

I love these shoes. They are comfortable and feel great on my feet. I wish there was more colors.

The style and comfort are excellent but the upper material looks like a cheap rough plastic. Birkenstock makes same style sandals with a suede upper material , but unfortunately I cannot find my size. Very upsetting...

I love these birks because the style is different than the more common styles. I wish I’d bought a second pair in blue before they became unavailable.

Very comfortable & different style than most Birkenstocks. I get compliments every time I wear these. Out of box can walk miles. Comfort first!

These are my favorite Birks. I like the strap style. They are wide enough for my wide feet and very comfortable. I’d buy multiple pairs if they were still available!

These are the only shoes I can wear without heel pain. They make my feet and back feel amazing and I wore them literally every day this summer (except when I had to go into work, mostly I’m remote). Love the style, they’re a little different. My feet are narrow so they are a little loose. But I don’t even care the footbed is heaven. Buying Birkenstock insoles for other shoes now and trying some Birk boots for the fall/ winter as I can’t bear another footbed. Getting all this through Zappos naturally, as they are where I get ALL my shoes. Best customer service in the universe.

These are the most comfortable sandals , I have bad feet and they are so comfortable . I would recommend . You can wear these all day and they don’t hurt whatsoever

Seem a little large in length. I'm trying 37 ( my original Birk size from 1990) to see if they are better, even though I'm a 7-1/2.

I’ve tried on Birks in many styles, but need them in narrow. Sales staff, even in specialty stores, have all told me that Birks do not come in Narrow. I saw these, liked the style and decided to give narrow a try. I wear a 6.5 M in Clarks, and Earth. A 37-N is a perfect fit in these. I like the true navy, and will hopefully be able to get them in black before they sell out. Would love a dark brown too. And yes, these do NOT have the the soft-sole foot bed.

I love this sandal! I was worried that the 'narrow' would be too tight because I tried the narrow in the Arizona and it didn't fit. This shoe fits great! It does seem shorter than the Arizona but that's probably because of the narrow fit. I love that it covers up my toes a little more. One complaint I have is the right shoe will suction to my foot if I stand in place to long, and when I move it makes a farting noise. ? So every once in a while I sound like Squidward walking around! I would have preferred blue, but they didn't have blue in my size.
