Great for a dressier style, But very very narrow and no wide width offered. I own 12 pair of Birks narrow/regular and never had width issue, including similar Kairo style.

Loved the sandal, but returning because the cent strap on one sandal was cut longer than other, therefore that foot didn't fit. The sandal cut correctly felt wonderful on!

I desperately wanted to keep these, but they are simply too narrow, even for a fairly narrowly shaped foot. The heel height was perfect, the fit (lengthwise) ideal and the color fantastic. However, my feet were falling off the sides. What a shame - I can't image why Birkenstock doesn't make this shoe even a little wider. They would fly off the shelf.

I love these sandals. They are super comfy and go with pants or shorts. I walked about 5 miles in them one day and my feet felt great at the end of the day.

I love these "dressy" Birkenstocks. The usual comfort, but the little bit of heal, and the silver, makes it look dressy enough to wear with skirts, without looking like a hippy.

I was a little worried after reading reviews about these running narrow but decided to order them anyway (hey it's Zappos, right?). I wear a pretty consistent 10M and have no issue with the width on these. They fit comfortably without the bulky look of traditional Birks. The leather is super soft - no "break-in" period necessary. Super comfortable and slightly dressier to pair with almost anything.

I needed a sandal to go with everything but also have support. I teach school and am on my feet all day. I found it in the Ashley. Have them on right now after a full day. I wear a 10/11 and this shoe fits great. I received a lot of compliments and that's always a good sign!

I've been a Birkenstock fan for 20 years, and I love that they are offering styles that are a little dressier than the classic sandals. The footbeds of these shoes have the comfort you depend on with Birkenstock, and the leather is soft and flexible. Sizing seems to be consistent with other styles in the brand. They definitely run narrow, but that works for my feet and I think it helps to make the shoes look less clunky/casual. They're very cute, a bit shinier than I expected but with the neutral colors they can be worn with just about anything.

I'm very pleased with my purchase of these shoes. I love the narrow fit. I now have both of the colors offered!

Agree with reviewer assessments that these run narrow. I wear a 39 Narrow in the Gizeh and these fit me perfectly. The brown ones are a beautiful rose gold color, with a slight sheen. They are a dressy version of the Gizeh, of which I have two pairs. Highly recommend these for narrow-footed folks!

I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes help tremendously. Having a little bit of heel also provides additional relief. I've received a ton of compliments and people are always shocked when I tell them they are Birkenstock's

Swore I'd never buy a Birkenstock; found them to be quite ugly. I'm going to Europe in the Fall, needed a comfy shoe, and broke down. I bought my first Birkenstock. Love the shoe. It looks very feminine on my long narrow foot; didn't take anytime to break in. Recommend to those with a narrow foot.

I purchased these because I was having foot pain from commuting in flats. Doctor said I needed arch support and recommended Birkenstocks. But I'm a pumps chick, not a Birkie girl. Well, I am now. Absolutely love these! Fit to size and look good. Most importantly they're comfortable and a far better alternative than commuting in sneakers.

I love these shoes! Finally a comfortable sandal that I can walk in, that looks great too. I love the slight heel, arch support and foot bed. I look forward to taking this sandals to Europe next month. I wish they came in more colors. I have usually wear a 38 medium and these shoes fit great. I can see if you have a larger or wider foot how they may be too narrow and a little snug. There is no rubbing with the thong between the toes. They were very comfortable straight out of the box and I think they will continue to stretch and become worn in. Very happy with this purchase.

Yes! Dressier Birkenstocks! These are beautiful and I love the dressier look. I had to order a size larger than I ordinarily get, but those are great. Only negative, is the strap up the center of the foot, tends to go off center, which I find a bit annoying. However, overall, I love these shoes!

Love them. I bought them because of reviews saying they were narrow. They fit me perfect because I do have a narrow foot and most straps on sandals are too wide. Very comfy.

The silver is more gray and a great neutral. Bit dressier too. Needs time to break in but super comfy. Bought for trip to Italy.

This is my first pair of Birks in about 20 years. I tried on a different style at a department store to make sure I knew my size and then ordered these. I love them. I'm a 9.5 in most shoes and got the 40 in these and they fit perfectly. I love the color and the style.

I have been looking at Birkenstocks for a while, but I really wanted something more versatile and these can be worn with casual and slightly more dressy outfits. They take a day or two to break in, but now they are incredibly comfortable. They do run a bit narrow, but I am always a medium width and these fit me fine.

Absolutely love these! I have to have a great deal of arch support and these are great. Bought these to wear to work this summer.

They are definitely more narrow than Birks normally run, so keep that in mind, but they work for my foot shape. I love the slight lift, and the color of the "brown" is lovely. I will be wearing these constantly.

I really wanted these to work out. I'm not really a Birkenstock kind of girl (it's always been a little too "crunchy" for me), but these were so cute, loved the slight heel on it, and the silvery pattern was really nice. The only problem is that it was slightly too narrow. I'm marking it as "true to width" since it did say that they were narrow and I think the narrowness makes it look less clunky and a more chic, but I just couldn't wear it comfortably. If you have narrow feet, however, I'd definitely suggest them because they really are ones that I think could easily switch from casual day to dressier night.

These shoes are really cute on, but they run a little big. The foot bead is wonderfully comfortable. I usually wear a 38 (7 1/2), but the thong piece didn't reach my toe cleavage. I wore them for a day, thinking that I could get used to where the plastic piece hit between my big and middle toe, but it was a little painful, as it's a pretty hard plastic piece. When I cinched them tight so that the thong piece fit comfortably, my pinky toe went slightly over the cork edge of the sandal. This was strange as my foot is a medium width. It wasn't painful, as the cork is soft, it just wasn't a perfect fit. If I'm going to pay that much for a sandal, I'd like it to fit. They are not actual Birkenstocks, but a brand authorized by Birkenstock, so maybe the foot bed is not as wide as a true Birkenstock. I really liked the look of this sandal as it's more feminine than a typical Birkenstock, but the fit just wasn't right. I'm sending them back.

I'm a long time Birkenstock and Papillio wearer, so I can speak for those of you who want to know if you can expect the same comfort and fit you do in the older, more familiar styles. Yes. The slight heel has no impact on comfort. The footbed is also very much the same. This sandal in my usual size (40 N) feels like the usual fit. However, compared against a basic Arizona I can see that these are about 1/4" narrower, and 1/2" shorter. Not sure how that works out, but in case you need every centimeter of the footbed, be aware that you might need a larger size. On the up side, these are cute. Like the first time I've ever looked at Papillio and Birkenstock's efforts to do hip, trendy and stylish and gone... "yeah, that works!" The snakeskin finish is gorgeous with a realistic shimmer along some of the striations. The straps are slimmer, and as mentioned, the whole profile is a bit lighter. If you're a traditionalist, this may not work for you. Where this shoe lost me, and a star - is the plastic thong. It's the same loser they put in the Gizeh, and I've had no luck with them. I used to wrap the thong on my Gizeh in moleskin to make it tolerable, and it generally was good for a couple of weeks. I shouldn't have to do this. This is a quality shoe, made by a high end company that knows comfort. So I'm unhappy about the thong. I do believe the manufacturer has made efforts to make the plastic thong smoother, but there are still a couple of little rough edges that would spell trouble if you wore these around for several hours.
