I'm assuming everyone else who reviewed these boots wrote the reviews immediately. I too loved these shoes when I first got them. But then the fabric around the zipper failed after the third wear rendering the zipper useless. I exchanged them for a new pair (thanks Zappos customer service!) and the zipper fabric ripped AGAIN after the third or fourth wear. I've returned them completely now. They're cute and comfortable, but the cost is too much to spend on boots that only last three wears.

Comfy stylish and true to size. Don't have that big obnoxious Tom sticker on the back like some other toms shoes do, so nobody can tell they're a "comfort" shoe but you. I got several compliments on them the first day I wore them. I've put in some long days already at work with these shoes and am liking them. It's hard for me to find shoes that work for my feet, and after trying on at least 50 pairs these were the clear winners.

I have had these booties for almost exactly a year and waited to write a review until I had put them through the test of time. These boots are GREAT! They are super comfortable - from the day I wore them to a year later! They have held up really well over time. I wore them all through the spring, some of the summer, all through the fall, and again in the winter. And I will keep wearing them this spring! I love the classic look - they don't have the TOMS sticker on them, and if you didn't know they were TOMS, you wouldn't know. After a year there has been some wear on the heal - a bit of the coating has scrapped off, but it isn't noticeable. I still get complements on these when I wear them! They are great under jeans, with skinny jeans, tights (my boottights are great with them!), or with tights and dresses. They are highly versatile! If you are looking for a bootie these are just perfect!

I love these!! So comfortable and they still look fabulous after a long, snowy Minnesota winter where I wore them a ton.

Adorable shoe. I wear a true size nine and the nine fit perfectly. Love the style, heel not too high which is nice. I haven't spent all day in them but they felt super comfy when I tried them on.

I love these boots so much but the zipper broke on my first pair. Toms replaced them then the zipper broke on the replacement pair. Maybe the zipper should be on the side. I going to give a third pair a try that’s how much I love them.

LOVE, love, love these shoes. It is SO comfortable and can be worn for work or for going out. They were broken in after only one day. My only gripe is that the zipper doesn't zip smoothly, you really have to pull hard on it and I'm worried that I might break it someday.

These are very fashionable and comfortable. I was looking for something to go with jeans and sweater dresses this fall/winter, that would keep me warmer than flats, and that were more exciting than my usual. The back zip and different patterns make it versatile and fun. The heel is perfect - gives a lift without the foot pain or back aches of really high heels. The support is comfortable and I haven't yet worn them all day, but they seem sufficiently wide. I buy my boots/booties a 1/2 size larger than my usual which worked great here.

These are exactly as shown in the pictures and exactly what I was looking for! One very happy customer here. I was concerned with the sizing when ordering and debated about ordering half a size smaller. But I ordered my regular size and they run true to size. I am very happy with that choice as there is no sloppy room without socks but they will be very comfortable come winter with socks.

I have had these for about 16 months and they have held up fairly well during that time. I live in a cold urban area and these are my primary winter shoes so I walk about 2-3 miles in them about 4x a week during the winter months. Mostly they have held up well, I polish and condition the leather at least twice a season and apply a protectant to it. My only gripe about the durability is that the covering on the shaft has started to peel and the leather has cracked a bit on the base - again I wear them a lot but I had hoped to get two solid winters out of these boots and they have fallen out of the rotation since December. As far as comfort goes I gave these 3 stars, not as good as Danskos or Clarks. The reason I probably won't buy again is that the internal sole of the shoe has worn down so I have to wear insoles - otherwise it irritates my heel greatly. The internal sole does help the arch support (these have moderate to poor arch support) but presses the top of my foot somewhat uncomfortably against the shoe. I purchased a pair of fleece insoles to wear with these on colder days but the narrow interior doesn't allow the extra height.

I have five pair of these booties. Love them. They are somehow comfortable on my wide feet and good height after breaking my ankle in several places. I don’t know why, but these are the only booties with a heel that I can wear. Highly recommend these!

I bought these in August 2017, and I have worn them almost every work day since. They are SUPER comfortable and versatile. I don't write a lot of review, but these are great shoes. Will be buying more Toms soon.

I usually wear 8.5 in heels, 8 in some boots. But these are TTS - definitely fit 8.5 snugly. I don't wear my boots w/ thick socks, but if you like to, I would size up. I have both the forest green color and the warm tan/cognac leather color and they're beautiful.

This is my 2nd pair of Toms booties, I find that they are sooooo comfortable, I can wear them all day. These are a little more narrow than my other pair but even though I have a wider foot they still work. Super cute, the olive color looks great with jeans, and they're low enough that your skinny jeans don't bunch at the bottom. Love them!

I purchased 3 pairs of these (toffee suede, black suede and luggage leather). There has never been an issue with zippers as some other reviews suggest. They are sleek, classic and comfortable; with just a bit of jazz in the tassel on the zipper. That is quite something in a shoe. I am a hard size to fit, as I can be a 5 through a 6 depending on the brand of shoe. A 5.5 in Tom's is an absolutely perfect fit for me. From the moment I put them on they were comfortable. They needed no break-in time as other shoes I have purchased. Everytime I wear them (and I have worn them all more than 3 times), I get complimented on these booties. They look great with distressed skinny jeans, a cute skirt and top or a cool dress. Love, love, love them!

These were an excellent find, and I'll be coming back again for these boots in the future! They're absolutely beautiful, the color is so warm and rich, and they're surprisingly comfortable for having a heel. I have wider feet but these felt great. They never created pinched toe pain or bruises or blisters like other boots. Now that they're broken in, they're like slippers. Love love love these!

These booties are terrific! I wear them all the time with dress pants and skirts for work, and with jeans on the weekends. Very comfortable, I would recommend these to anyone looking for a classic bootie.

I love these shoes! Perfect leather booties, I can wear them all day long without issue. Look great with jeans and dresses.

These boots are so cute and comfortable!! I have them in black and I'm considering also getting the cognac color for next fall. I ordered my usual boot size and when I first wore them they felt a little tight; however, the leather stretched out to fit my feet very comfortably within the first few times I wore them. I haven't had trouble with the zippers like some other reviewers but, honestly, I usually just slip them on and off without using the zipper because the boot opening is wide enough for me to do that.
