These are comfortable shoes, they look great as well, and work for what I need them for. Also, as for size, if you never had Toms, they run big. I usually compare my sizes to Nike, where I wear a 13, and I got a 13 in Toms, but they are a tad too big, I think 12½ would have been better, but I needed the shoes and did not have time to send back, so I will just keep them. But if you order, order half a size down from Nikes (if you know that size).

Stylish, but comfy. Great “in between” shoe - not a dress boot, but nicer than a hiking boot. My husband wears these on the weekends when he wants something better than an athletic shoe. We love Toms - they are quality!

Love the shoes, had the first edition 2 years, just got another pair. Had many compliments on them over the years, they can be worn with a suit and jeans, and are very versatile. highly recommend.

great shoe and fantastic look. i did have to return them because i usually get 12 but i had to get a 13 because it felt too tight. the 13s stretched a little and fits perfectly now.

Incredible genuine leather! I get compliments every time I wear these shoes/boots. I use a horsehair brush to clean them off and they look brand.

Loved the boot and fit, but returned due to color being a darker blue color rather than the grey color they appear online.

Super comfortable and cool style. But the length of the shoe is a solid 1/2 size too small. I'm always a 11.5, but with this shoe my toe was at the end in an 11.5. Ordering a new size because it seems like a great shoe!

My husband loves these and he is very picky about shoes. He did add an arch support insert to them.

Great shoes. I am a standard size 10 and these fit very well. They were very comfortable right out of the box. They are soft and flexible, but they still provide good support. I pulled them out of the box and wore them on a 12 hour flight and pulled luggage through three major airports and two parking lots. They were comfortable throughout the trip. The black leather ones I purchased look good with jeans, but they also look good with casual dress pants.

Definitely take some time to break in. Comfort grows as they are worn more. I don't have much arch support, so if I wear these for long periods over several days then my feet begin to hurt. I have to wear very thin socks with these as well since they seem to be narrower than my normal shoes.

I really like these boots! I had never purchased TOMS shoes before and was pleasantly surprised!!! Only issue, the laces on these boots are terrible. They are super long and do not stay tied. However, I love these boots, so I made it work!

Great looking shoe, bummed they didn't fit right for my foot. Ordered a sized down based on other reviews but that was too small, ended up getting my normal size. Just too tight in the toes and almost negative arch support if that's possible.

Looks great, didn’t fit. Arch was a little flat but hard to tell if I’d like them as they were just too small overall.

I tried on the Toms Chukka Boot in Waterproof Brown Leather. I was very impressed by the quality of the shoe. Normally when I think of Tom's, I think of the almost-disposable shoes I see young women wearing. This was a solid chukka. It felt snug, but not too tight. I ended up returning it, because another chukka just felt more comfortable to me. But Tom's definitely has my attention now. I'll definitely consider them for mens' shoes!

Stylish, comfortable shoe. Length felt a 1/2 size smaller than average and width felt standard.

Great looking boot, and very comfortable. The upper is soft and flexible, so there wasn't a painful breaking in period. I wore these on a trip with lots of walking soon after I got them, and didn't have any problems. I do wish it had some arch support though. If that's important to you, you'll need to get inserts.

They look nice and are comfortable but I have only been wearing them for a short time. I like what the company stood for as far as charitable donations.

I bought these boots for my husband about a year ago. They are very attractive and well made. My husband complains the boots are too narrow and there is not enough arch support, although he wears them for short periods of time without any issues.

I have the Herringbone style of these shoes. They are a great design and very comfortable. However, the metal eyelets that hold the laces came loose from the fabric within the first week or two of wearing them.

I held out hoping I'd break these in, but they are some of the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever bought. They fit small, narrow, flat and kill my feet. I usually wear an 11.5 in casual shoes or an 11 in something more formal and the 11.5 fit poorly. After these I bought some leather high top Chacos and couldn't be happier. They have generous arch support and a wide toe box.

Loved the style of the Chukka Boot! I've owned a few other pairs of Toms and always had a great experience. That was until I put them on and started walking around. The insole was in no way attached and immediately began riding up the back of the shoe. I would have to repeatedly tap my toe on the ground or take off the shoe and slide the insole forward in order to fix the problem, only to encounter it after another 20 steps. I eventually solved this by buying other inserts from FootLocker (not ideal, but I had no other choice). Sadly, this was not the end of my troubles. Shortly after, the stitching began to come undone at the point where the side fabric meets the front fabric. And I'm not talking about just one or two of the stress points, but all four! Even with a needle and a repair job, I don't think the shoe is salvageable. Incredibly disappointed and would not recommend these shoes to anyone, especially with the price tag they carry.

Gave these boots 2 stars b/c after the 2nd or 3rd time wearing it the sole began to separate from the heel. Poor quality. Other than that they are very comfortable and look nice.
