I've worn many different Vibram models, many of which I've really liked, but these are amazing. They're a size larger than I've been getting just because I thought they'd be easier to get on. And they are. But the big feature turns out to be their elasticity. I just loosen the laces all the way (which isn't very loose) and slide them on, even the first time. The elasticity makes that easier than usual and also keeps them comfortably in place without further tightening. I walked 9 miles in them on the first day I had them.

I love this pair of VFFs and I have had about a dozen different pairs over the years. Ordering a size smaller than usual was a good call. They felt a little tight over the top of the foot at first but stretched to perfect fit after the first couple wears. They are very cool because of the holes but do not keep out dirt or sand.

Viabram need to bring back the Bikila version. These viabrams have a cheap plastic underneath with very little padding. As soon as I tried them on I went straight to the computer to print my return slip

4 stars for performance, docking only 1 star for terrible aesthetics. I've been looking for a replacement for my Skora Fits ever since they stopped making them. Minimalist/barefoot running/training apparently was just a trend, but for me, it was eye-opening and the most injury-free I've ever been. I never tried Vibram FiveFingers because IMO they're grossly over-engineered. I don't like, want, or need a compartment for every toe. However, other brands didn't work; Altras felt clunky, inflexible, and gave me shin splints, Nike Frees gave me the beginning of plantar fasciitis, and Xeros were impossible to lace over my very narrow nearly instep-less feet. I started running and lifting in Vibram's, and the shin splints and plantar fasciitis immediately went away. Normally a women's 11, I found I had to size up into men's for the extra length. I just try not to look at my feet when I wear these. I genuinely hate how they look. I can't decide if I look like a gorilla or a frog in them. Either way, the divided toes are truly awful, but I'm going to keep wearing them because they're what my body needs. When it's a choice between overuse injuries or just looking really stupid, I'll choose looking really stupid.

Great shoes for me because I am very flat-footed. This is my 7th pair of Vibram Five Fingers; been wearing them since the 2006.
I'd also recommend:

I love how Vibrams provide room for my toes to spread out while at the same time hugging my toes and feet. I think this is important to get the blood to flow back to the heart. Otherwise the feet get swollen and bloated. I tried as different minimalist brand but they felt loose.

Feel great so far! A bit of a challenge to put on initially but followed the instructions, and it got a lot easier with practice.

I've worn FiveFingers exclusively for the better part of the last 8 years, and have yet to be disappointed with a single pair. My recently purchased V-Runs being no exception. They seem to run true to size, are very comfortable, and incredibly light weight. As with all FiveFingers, I would highly recommend them.

Wow! My first time buying these shoes and they are amazing, soft and comfortable. Size recommended by Zappos was the correct, according to the EU size chart. I wear 10 and these vibram shoes are 9,5 - 10.

These are my second pair of vibram road running shoes. I had to use size 44 though I used to wear size 9 NB minimus shoes

Perfect shoe for that minimalist feel. Good durable upper with a sock-like feel, and good protection for the bottom of your foot. This shoe doesn't fit like your normal everyday shoe. Just measure your foot length and check your size on Vibram's website.

This is my 2nd pair of V-Run Vibrams - I wore the first pair out from CrossFit training 3 - 5 days a week. The first pair lasted more than 4 years after heavy heavy use. I used to throw them in the washing machine once a week, but more recently just let them air dry between uses. These are the best - good support and very light. Almost like you can't even feel them.

Great! I use these for running on the beach. They feel great on the beach when running, it’s like running barefoot and gives me a good option from running on the road every once in a while. Happy with the purchase.

I followed earlier reviews and got one size smaller than I had. Worked perfectly. I'm coming from Bakilis so I didn't quite know what to expect. It's a really good shoe.

There is an inconsistency in the Vibram sizing chart for this shoe. Pay close attention to your US size for this shoe rather than the EU size.

I have been running in vibrams for 6 years and these are by far my favorite. They breath well and have good traction when off pavement. I did have to go down one size for a good fit. Other than that. Love them!!

I’ve been wearing Fivefingers since the OGs back in the day. I literally just tossed my Spyridon LS this morning as the soles finally peeled off the fabric. RIP, my go-tos. Those shoes had seen the Pacific, the Sierras, Cotopaxi, the Amazon, Jamaican beaches, the mountains of Mexico, and the Iberian peninsula. Having said that- these are okay. The style is good. Breathability is 5 stars. Pros: Good traction Heel feels a little more padded than my Bikilas, but still don’t feel as well out together. Color is sharp Super lightweight material Easy to put on and take off Cons: Laces are a little difficult to deal with They’re tight across the midfoot, almost uncomfortable They fit a little off. Honestly every pair of fivefingers that I’ve ordered this year (4 of them) have fit different and all been a touch off and I’ve sent back 2 pair and given away one (ordered a pair directly from Virbram and couldn’t return them) so I gave them to a fella to try and he loved them. These particular ones fit strange around the ankle, but not so far off that they’re uncomfortable or are letting in too much debris. All in all- I like them. They need improvements, but I like them enough to keep them.

Finally! Managed to get the right size for my feet. I tried on the V trains, hike and 1 more model but V Runs felt the best of them all. It is soft on your skin if you like wearing with no socks. I love the feel you get, its not too much or too little contact feedback. But you really need to try it on for the right size. Didn't like the laces so I cut mine off and repace them with elatic type laces. having been wearing them at home, have not try running outdoors in them yet but so far so good. Exceeded my expectations.

So I guess these must fall into the category of you love them or hate them. Couldn’t get onboard with the toe separation or the feel of them, when walking. Thankfully I wasn’t stuck with a dumb purchase because Zappos rocks!
