Great styling and design Removable insole. There is little to no cushion in the shoe and it feels like there is not much support for impact (it is all in the foam insole) - I have wide, flat feet and need to wear arch support insoles with almost every shoe I own. The nice thing about these shoes is that you can remove the insole, but unfortunately there is very little padding built into the shoe. This leaves an uncomfortable result on impact (walking/jogging were very noticeable). Even with the factory insole used, they seemed to lack the padding that I have come used to from most cross training shoes. They also seem to run a little wider than most Nikes that I have tried before, and I only had minor bulging of my foot against the front of the outer wall. The styling is amazing and I love the decision making behind the same color/values but variation in material and texture. The proportional breakup of the colors and materials is also spot on as well as the graphic breakup and angles. Nike is years ahead of the competition in terms of styling. It is just a shame that they couldn't nail the ergonomics of this shoes as they look great.

Awesome shoe. I wear them for crossfit and they are great. Also they are wider than other Nike's I've tried in the past.

Perfect shoe for CrossFit! I these shoes through ringer on a daily basis. After several months I did notice some seam issues, however good things can't last forever especially with the amount of abuse I put them through. I do swap them out for long runs, but that's not what they where built for. Will continue to use MetCons as long as maintain their standard.

I have now been wearing these for a couple of weeks and so far I am enjoying them.
I use these for crossfit and so far I've enjoyed them. They do seem to be a bit looser than my Reebok Nano 5s, but it isn't enough to make too much of a difference.
I am a Nike fanboy so to me these are the best shoes for general crossfit :-)

I got these to use for a mix of gym classes and lifting (not especially heavy duty, but you still want to have stability). I don't use them for running, but they are great for high intensity gym class type things, and are pretty stylish, in a health goth kind of way.

Bought these for my son and he is very pleased. He was wearing the Reebok Nano 4.0 prior. These fit true to size and is very happy with the performance so far.

I love the shoes! I bought the men's version as a female because I have wide feet and they work perfect for CrossFit. I like the black-and-white I think they are very versatile for either gender. They are super supportive and provide a great base for any kind of weightlifting (think lots of squats and deadlifts) and I also find that they are good for running short distances in as well. I would definitely buy that again!

Great overall shoe for cross training. Definitely recommend. I have flat wide feet, usually have trouble finding wider shoes. These have worked best thus far.

I ordered my regular size and at first they seemed too tight. After one workout, they were broken in and felt natural and comfortable. They are great during my Crossfit workouts and look awesome.

Great training and weightlifting shoe, feel very stable. I use them for my Crossfit wods. Downside is they don't give me enough support when running. If there's s lot of running and jumping I prefer Asics.

LOVE these shoes. I am an avid crossfitter and love wearing these shoes to the gym. They have great traction and are the perfect shoes for lifting. I used to wear running shoes while lifting and my arches and feet would often hurt. Not with these! great for liffting - but not so great for running in. I'd stick to running shoes.

Incredible shoe. Very aesthetically pleasing. Does the job. However, I had to give mine up due to my extremely high arches. There isn't much support at all for high arches. My tibialis anterior would be on fire after any kind of workout. I do workout heavy and high-impact.

This a fantastic shoe, especially if you're a fan of a wide toe box (and if you're not, oh man, are you missing out!). This is my first pair of Metcons and I wear them primarily for strength & conditioning workouts. They've been fantastic: light weight, flexible, and flat with a thin sole, which makes it so easy to grip the floor without compromising movement during rowing or running. They felt a TINY bit larger than what I normally wear, but I'll chalk that up to it being a man's shoe (and I'm a chic).

I've been using these shoes for most of my workouts for the past few months. They offer an excellent platform for crossfit and oly lifting. The shoe is quite rigid, so I switch to running shoes for any extended cardio. Overall I've been really pleased with how well the Metcon's have held up and I'll continue using them until they need to be replaced.

After days of research and hours of trying out shoes. I was down to Nike Metcon 2 and Reebok Crossfit Nano 5. I need a pair for P90x3. I didn't pick the Reebok because the top mesh would bunches up and pinches down on top my foot whenever I do heel raises. It was uncomfortable and hurting over time. There is not much loose space on top of my foot for the Nike, which I like. This hugs the top of my foot comfortably. The cushion around the heels also help in hugging my foot and keep from sleeping. Very comfortable shoes and the design is awesome.

In my humble opinion, these are a great shoe. I guess they are considered a minimalist shoe but compared to some of my New Balance shoes these have way more cushioning. I have been using these for crossfit workouts for about 3 weeks now but have yet to do much running in them...however, I feel pretty confident that short distances would be fine. Stability during lifts is very good, they fit well and you can lock them down pretty tight with the flywire technology. Also, the toe box is big which I like. I really like these shoes and will be buying at least 1 more pair...as soon as they go on sale...hint hint!
