Good looking shoe. Very comfortable, wore them walking around Disney for a day. BIG PROBLEM, they get a bad odor after wearing them for 1 day if you don’t wear socks. Other slip-on shoes like Cole Haan have a leather insert so they don’t smell. It’s unfortunate these don’t have some anti-smell feature as they are cool shoes.

Great shoe but the picture of the Night color led me to believe it was charcoal. It is in fact a true navy blue.

This is a follow-up/long-term review, six months after my initial review. These shoes continue to amaze me with their comfort, versatility, and durability. I have worn them literally hundreds of times, including light hiking, golf, yard work, and general kicking around. I have machine washed them about ten times, and through it all, they show virtually no signs of wear. No tears or un-stitching on the uppers and the soles have very little wear. The fit is as good as the day I bought them. Simply a really great shoe!!!

I've cycled through so many black shoes trying to find the right pair for work, the search has finally stopped after years! I absolutely love these shoes. Extremely lightweight, very breathable which is nice during my 10 hour shifts. You honestly forget about your feet when wearing these, in a good way, nothing rubs, feet down hurt after a few hours, simply a wonderful shoe. I'm not typically a fan of all black shoes, in the past my black shoes have only been worn for work. But since I got these I find myself wearing them 90% of the time I'm not at work, because they're just that great! I'm actually ordering two more pair now in different colors. You won't regret these guys!

These are great kickin' around shoes. I have flat feet so the very moderate arch is a lot better than some of the other shoes I've tried. These are super comfortable. The size is good and the the shoes "breathe" well. The cushioning is good and comfortable for wearing all day. The only downside is that they aren't truly slip on like some boat shoes. If you want the heel support you'll have to slip them on with your hands. The heel collapses and you can wear these like clogs but I'm not into clogs. Overall -- a great shoe.

Not good if you need room in the toe box at all. The toe box is very shallow and the laces cannot be undone to allow for more wiggle room in the top of the shoe. This is great for people who can't tie their shoes or don't want to be bothered with laces but bad for those who need to have some room at the top of the shoe. Nice looking shoe, comfortable sole but the shallow top killed it for us. Returned.

Very comfortable. Walked a mile right out of the box with no issues. Had to order half a size smaller than I normally wear in tennis shoes.

Great looking, comfortable shoes. Marketed to males, but, I think they're super cute as a casual lady's hiking shoe. They look great on my feet! These shoes are very comfortable and breathable. I bought them for hiking and walking through any water (I figured they'd dry fast -- top does, sole doesn't so much), and to quickly slip on in the summer. Super cute shoes. As a previous reviewer states, the "black" shoe is actually more of a navy blue color, but it looks great.

I love these shoes. As I live in San Diego, I have tried to eschew wearing socks and these work out perfectly in that quest. They're stylish enough to wear as 'business casual' work attire, and I can just as easily get them sandy and soaked at the beach. My only critique is that I get a small hole on the right big toe. This has happened to two pairs of Nohea Mokus and a pair of the Nohea Mesh. Not sure if I have a razor blade for a toenail, but it's never happened to other mesh shoes I've had. But I still wear them, as they're otherwise in good shape. Other than the toe-hole, they'd get five stars overall.

Ordered these for my son who received the black ones for Christmas. He liked them so much that he wanted the charcoal for his May birthday. He is very picky about his shoes and he says these are the ones he wears almost all the time. Extremely comfortable and he likes the fold down heel part to make putting them on easier. Then he flips it up for the full fit. Win--win!

These are great boat shoes. Perfect to slip on and off while on the water! I normally wear size 9.5 in my Nike's and that's what zappos recommended. My feet are also on the wide side. These I ordered a 9 and 8.5 to try on. Because I'm not going to wear socks with these I wanted to try both sizes. The 9 was too loose, my foot slid around too much in the shoe. The 8.5 fit perfect. I could slip them on and off, but had no wiggle room. The laces are elastic so you cant tighten them, so you need the right size. If I was going to wear socks the 9 would have worked, but these are not designed for socks. They're light weight and seem to breath pretty well. The bottom of the shoe has very good traction but because of pattern it felt weird at first, but I think I'll get used to it. Overall I'm happy with these shoes.

I love the design of these shoes and I was very excited to receive them. However, upon trying them on, the front half of the shoe is very wide. The material was folding over towards the inside of the shoe. I am a size 11.5-12 with a very average width to my foot. I hate to say this, but they look like clown shoes when I put them on my feet. I do not know if this is related to a larger size shoe or not. Maybe they would look better on smaller feet.

I waited a bit to wear the shoes before submitting my thoughts, which are a bit divided. Pros: The shoes look good and, in a pinch, can pass as casual dress shoes during the summer. They are easy-on and easy-off. The majority of the shoe is mesh, so they are very lightweight and breathe well. Overall, the materials are attractive and good quality. The shoe is great for hot weather or warm, rainy weather as the mesh will allow water to drain easily. The mesh also allows for plenty of toe space; they do not crunch your toes at all. They are basically sandals, with a nice looking veneer. Cons: The fact that they are so loose means they slip a lot and don't hold tight to your feet. This can cause blisters and rubbing aggravation. The arch support is okay but the general cushioning is well below par (they are removable and can be replaced with something better). For some people this won't be a problem, but for anyone with joint or foot issues it can be an issue. My main test for them was to take a three mile walk along a circular, paved, local pathway/trail. It was not a great experience. I ended with a sizable blister on the ball of one of my feet and my knees and ankles felt the lack of cushion afterward. I would never want to have to run even a short distance in these shoes and walking for an extended period or distance would not be good either. Generally speaking, these are shoes for summer parties where you are not going to walk or move about a lot and you just want something nice looking on your feet. A pair of good sandals would be more economical; for the price you should go with a good pair of tennis shoes. I cannot recommend these, simply because they are so limited in their use. That doesn't mean they are horrible shoes, but they are not very practical.

This is my fifth pair and I love them so much I wear them every day.

Some of the best knock around shoes I’ve ever had. I love that the heel folds down so they can be used as slippers.

I’m 65 and handicapped (trouble with walking); all my life worn Topsiders (still do)). These are the absolute best shoes ever. Fit feel form and function are perfect and they me look at least 10 years younger! Definitely buy this

My 3rd pair. They’re my absolute favorite summer shoes. They dress down for a day at the lake, and dress up enough for a day in the (casual) office I work in. Their only downside is durability. By the end of the summer, they’re ready to be retired to “light yard work” duty, and too warn to make it out of the house otherwise.

Typical with this brand, the front part of the shoe is very wide, allowing your food to slide in the shoe.

In the picture the mesh appears to be woven but it actually is typical mesh.

Fit great, very comfortable. Easy to wear with no socks.
