These are much more comfortable than their leather Ho'opio counterpart, thanks to the fabric toe post. Compared to the Ohana or Kulapa Kai models, the Ho'opios are not as squishy in the footbed (which I don't mind), and they're narrower and cleaner. They're more dressy, less sporty. I think they're perfectly comfortable though - in some ways, I like the denser footbed more. I appreciate that the bottoms are just as grippy. Everyone said to order up, but I'm a 7.5 and I needed the 7. The 8 was too big. I'm a 7 in the Kulapa Kai as well, so the sizing seems consistent.

I typically wear a 7.5 and I purchased a size 8. I was concerned about spending so much money on a flip-flop but the comfort makes it completely worth the price. I wouldn’t go on a long walk with these because I prefer a more substantial shoe with a heel strap, but they are great for hanging around the house, dashing off to the pool and taking a relaxing stroll. Bonus: They have reduced my foot pain while doing chores around the house!

I've been wearing the Ohana style for a long time because for me they are the most comfortable sandal I can find. I decided to try the Ho'opio because they look a little less casual. I definitely like them but they don't have as much thickness in the sole, so a little less support. Still compared to other brands they are great and it's nice to have something a bit different in style. They seem to run consistent in size from one style to another. I wear an 8.5 in shoes and an 8 in these sandals because the toes can go father on a sandal than in shoes. The 9 was too big. Overall a great sandal!

I wear orthotics in all my sneakers so finding sandals with any arch support is difficult. I just learned that the Ho’opio is much lighter then my other Okukai sandal, so that’s a major plus! Olukai is the only brand I’ve found that I can wear for a good length of time before having to put on my sneakers. I bought them in black in size 7. They are simple but feminine. As long as the straps keep its support, I’ll keep buying them.

This is my first pair of Olukai so I wasn't sure what to expect; I usually wear Reef Rover Catch but was unable to find them in a brown color. Wow, these not only look good, but there are one of the most comfortable flip flops I've ever worn!

I love the look of this sandal and I love the navy blue color. However, it doesn't have the arch support that you might expect from OluKai.

The strap it a little snug, but I’m going to keep them and hope they stretch just a little. Fairly lightweight and the strap seems to sit back on your foot more than other flops I have wore. It makes them not quite so noisy.

I've been thinking about switching from Vionics to these OluKais. I am so glad I did. These are so comfortable and cute. I feel that they are more stylish than the Vionics, maybe just more feminine. Wore them all day right out of the box.

My new favorite flip flop! They are very comfortable and cute. I wear a 9 or 9.5 and ordered a 9 in silver. I will be ordering in different colors.

Love these! The blue is a beautiful color. I have high arches and these save my feet! The arch support is fantastic and never fades.

Very cute, had to return. I am a solid 7.5 and ordered both a 7 and an 8, kept the 8. If in between sizes go up!

Bought for my fiance. Color and shoe were great, but they do not run small as others have noted. I would say, they run true to slightly big and a little wider than B. Unfortunately, i had to return them.

I have been a die-hard Reef (Fanning) fan for a very long time. They were the only flip flops out of the box that I could always count on. Never a blister, always comfortable, long lasting. That is, until now. I discovered Olukai while on vacation in Hawaii and they immediately replaced my Reefs. I was shocked at the difference in the footbed. The olukai were such a relief for my feet. It was like a huge sigh putting them on and I walked around in them all day without any problem. Straight out of the store. The only difference I noticed is that they are "flippier" when going down stairs. The Reefs felt more secure - but the comfort - it's worth it. Stocking up on them now and trying new styles I didn't find in the store.

2nd pair. Ist pair were still going strong after 3 years but were no match for my puppy :( . So I've ordered my second pair. Live in Florida, so this is my year round shoe!

These are the best flip flops I've ever owned. Yes, I'm being dramatic, and yes, I mean it. I can wear these for days with zero issues. I've had my current pair for more than 3 years and it's maybe time for a replacement? Or maybe not. They're still amazing.

Thinner strap on this style is lovely and makes the flip flop “dressier.” Very supportive and like the insole (it’s a little more smooth/slippery than other flip flops of this brand. Fit is TTS.

These are great sandals. I picked this style because of the thin band as I could wear with anything. Some of the other styles are sportier. Sometimes shoes will hurt until they are broken in. Plus the cheaper sandals have thinner foot bed that they would form holes in the bottom and I could feel rocks as I walked over them. These have a thicker footbed that will hold up to anything. They also have a squishy footbed to give a little but not too much. These were comfortable from the start. Great shoes! I would consider other styles as well.

I absolutely love my new Olukai sandals. They are very comfortable. More so than their leather counterparts. This is my 4th pair of Olukai flip flops. They provide excellent arch support. I don’t get tired of walking in these.

My feet keep growing from having children so I sized up a to a 10 when ordering. Before my 5 month old I was maybe a 9 and my feet are on the wider side. When I first tried on they were snug but a quick walk around the house proved to be just enough. I’m hoping the leather band won’t stretch too much as it seems rigid. They are comfortable and cute. Arch support seems decent but can’t speak to a full day of walking.

These shoes ran true to size and loved the arch support. Sadly for me they were not cushioned enough. Knees have none left so my shoes have to make up for that.

I have several of the Ho'opio sandals, and I keep coming back for different colors. I just purchased the pink/orange color and I love it! Like all the OluKai I've tried, the Ho'opio has pretty good arch support, especially for a flipflop; the leather is nice, giving it a little bit more of a dressy feel, again, especially for a flipflop. The other pairs I own have worn really well; 1 to 2 years for my sandals and they still look great and still have support.
