Love these! So cute and comfortable right out of the box. Bought both colors - the black is more of a dark-dark grey with black straps- nice subtle contrast. Wore them for a full day with no issues. I'm a long-time Dansko customer.

I had foot surgery, so I am trying to find shoes that I can wear. I absolutely love these shoes. They are comfortable, made from great materials, beautifully made, but I tragically have to send them back. My big toes will not bend enough to get to the end of the shoe; surgery made the toe stiff.

LOVE these sandals! I have them in both black and tan and get lots of compliments on them--usually from younger, stylish women. They are wonderful for a wide foot--great support and comfort--and the design hides unsightly bunions. They are so comfortable and easy to walk in--I've walked miles in them wearing shorts, dresses, skirts and jeans. I'm tempted to order both colors again just to make sure I have replacements when these eventually wear out...

I had the same ankle rubbing problem but decided to keep them anyway, because they are so cute. I've now worn them about 5 or 6 times and it doesn't bother me anymore. Not as comfortable as other Dansko's either, but still way more comfortable than other sandals of the same heel height. I'm ordering a second pair in a different color right now.

Very cute, but not really gray. They are more of a dusty teal, with a lot of blue/green in the gray. Also, if your foot is wide, the arch section may cut into your foot, since it's not that generous there. The toebox is wide and comfy.

Really good looking shoes and very comfortable except for me, the left ankle strap rubbed against the back of my ankle. It's not quite sandal weather yet, but I'm hoping that when I do get to wear these the leather will soften up and it won't be a problem. I would hate to have to return them because they are very cute.

I love these sandals, I cannot wear really high heels due to foot issues and with these platforms, I am able to wear them without pain. I had to walk a lot the first time I wore them and had no problems. The leather is very soft and I had taken the lower straps in a notch to get a better fit. I love Danskos and these will likely be my new favorite sandals.

This shoe is one of the better looking Danskos, but it rubs my ankles the wrong way. That, plus I had to order a 39, which is odd since I have more than five pairs of Danskos and each one I wear a 40.
Also, the grey color looks more blue than grey, which makes the black leather appear navy. The black on black wasn't an option when I first bought them, or I would have ordered those.

Very cute shoe, but after wearing it around the house for a couple of hours the little tab end at the heel dug into my right heel, and I also found that to keep the ankle strap from rubbing my ankle bone, I had to loosen the buckle quite a bit, which didn't feel secure to walk in for very long. Too bad -- love the look, but they're going back.

I want to love these shoes and I'm still hopeful that I can get them to work for me but I too had blisters from the back of the shoe along my Achilles tendon that were at least an inch long. I may try them with band aids when I get over my fear of pain and scabs.

I was so excited to get these today, but unfortunately I will have to send them back. The ankle strap rubs terribly in the back...above my heel. It hits me in the wrong place. I wish it weren't so, because I love the style and otherwise, they fit well. Just a short walk around the room was uncomfortable on my ankle above the heel. So sad.

I have many pairs of Dansko shoes. It's just about the only brand I can wear because of a chronic knee condition. I absolutely love the look of these and they are very stylish. Unfortunately, the cut didn't work at all for me. The piece that wraps up the back of heel/ankle hits at a weird place and was immediately uncomfortable. Based on how it felt when I walked around the house, I don't think it's something that can be solved by breaking in. They have to go back, which is too bad because they are great looking shoes.

My heel was sliding off the shoe. I am an 8 and medium width, and always buy Danskos for many years and this is the first issue. They are very comfortable shoes. I do not think I liked the black either in this style. I will keep buying Danskos, though. They are the best shoes for standing all day and walking. I never have pain anywhere ever.
