The Skywalks make me stand tall and straighten my spine. I bought a pair back in the 80's and they have -yes- lasted that long! They still are in pretty good shape and I have thoroughly enjoyed them for day hiking. They give me energy and make me want to go hiking. Since then, the shoe has been slightly modified and I'm sure my body has modified! My only beef is one of my heels slips in the new pair and that feels like potential blister territory to me. They are totally waterproof, do require some break-in time, but well worth it. I have bunions on both feet and found I still had plenty of toe room and did not feel too tight. Wear a 9 1/2, tried that and a 10. If I were keeping, I'd probly stay with regular shoe size.

Ladies, if you have wide feet, this one is a pass. I ordered the 8W and while size wise it felt ok, the boot is regular width, not wide at all. Pretty color and nice stiff boot though.

This boot is PERFECT for me. I have a problem with hyperextending my knees, and had both ACLs replaced so I went looking for a boot that will protect me with the perfect stance for my issues. These boots provide the heel lift I needed to solve the hyperextension problem. The arch support is just right. I also have athletic calves, and the opening is perfect, while some brands were too tight. I did have to size up. I usually wear a 9 shoe but that size put my toes right against the inside of the boot. A ten is perfect and provides enough room for a heavier sock, and my foot doesn't slide around at all. Thanks to the customer support team who assisted me in finding this boot to meet my needs. I have already hiked in this boot and right out of the door, no issues!

Too clunky. I have seen better, less bulky looking boots for hiking.

These fit well, as long as you order half a size up. The soles are quite stiff and do not bend when you walk. It is expected that hiking boots will have soles that are stiffer soles than athletic shoes, but these are too stiff for me (I have flexible feet). I like my feet to flex when I walk. My previous pair of Vasque boots were not as stiff and they were great boots that lasted a reasonable amount of time.

This boot is heavy and well made, but it’s a boot. A little too rigid in the toebox for the wife. She needed something a little softer. Color was nice touch. They were returned, but we would try Vasque again

This is a well made, sturdy boot. I wish it fit better, but it's too wide in the heel for my narrow foot. I ordered my usual size, a 9 1/2, but my toes touch the end. If I order up to a 10, the heel is likely to be even wider. The boot seemed a bit stiff, but probably would soften up with regular wearing.
