This will be my second pair on order. I have owned these shoes now for about a year and a half now. I wear them everyday and I put these shoes through hell everyday. I own a swimming pool service company and I am on my feet all day. My shoes are always getting wet and the sun and cement eat on them in a big way. The first thing that went bad was the shoe strings but there still being used. Other than that the shoes have preformed and held up very well. Worth the money. OH, Also comfort is all there!

I wish brands would standardize sizes! These shoes are well-made with lots of support, but they are a full size smaller than marked. Will try another size and hope for the best.

I bought these half a size larger than I normally wear, but my toes still lightly touched the end of the toe box. They provide very good support, but are a little lose in the heel. They have an excellent cushion.

These overall seem like great shoes. I wanted waterproof shoes, but these are not working for me. There is something that hurts one of my feet. It's probably just a defect, but I don't feel like exchanging for a different pair to find out. FYI, I am a woman and wear a women's size 8, and the men's size 8 in this shoe fits perfectly. The women's 8 was too small.

Bought for my husband and he is really happy with these shoes. Wears them for his morning walk/hikes.

Overall, I really like the shoe. They were comfortable from 1st time I put them on. Had no trouble breaking them in and the seem durable. I've bought Salomon's for many years and lately have been somewhat disappointing but these seem to be back on track. I'll know more after a years worth of wear...

Runs a bit small especially if you plan to wear a thicker hiking sock.

I’ve been looking to replace a pair of Salomon hikers that I’ve had for years...the new versions of the shoes are a) made in another country and b) run considerably smaller. I wear a women’s size 9.5 consistently and when ordering this men’s shoe I went up a half size (based on other reviews) I could have done a full size but the .5 will work. On a bonus love that these shoes have old school laces and not the quick lace system. They also have a small amount of give which the other models didn’t seem to have. Makes walking way easier. Overall happy with this shoe.

True fit and love them. They are a little narrower then a true regular width.

They’re a Salomon product what else really needs to be said? They make a quality product & it shows. There is nothing fancy just everything you need. Very comfortable and provide a decent amount of support.

Salomon trail hiking boots are the only boots I will buy.They are durable and made to the highest quality. Be sure to spend the extra few bucks it takes to get them waterproof. These boots are comfortable and true to size and I can highly recommend them.

Unfortunately, these shoes are made in a different country and factory than the same model was a couple years ago. As a result, they are WAY smaller, and especially more narrow, than they were. Once you find your size though, you've got an excellent, waterproof pair of shoes. The narrow width is an issue for me, but I think these will work in the 11.5. I wear 10.5 in Nike, and 11 in Vans, for reference.

These shoes do not breathe. They fir well and feel comfortable for awhile. but by lunchtime my feet are wet with sweat...
