I used the Quest Prime GTX right out of the box for the seven day Machame route on Mount Kilimanjaro. From the 90+ degree rain forrest to the 0 degree summit, these boots kept my feet dry and comfortable the entire trek. Excellent choice for an all weather hiking boot with no break-in required.

I purchased a pair of Quest Prime GTX boots and quickly found myself in a love affair. I broke them in with small hikes and walks around town before setting off on a winter backpacking adventure. They held up quite nicely, keeping my feet warm and dry while not stifling them too much. Through frigid creek crossings and trekking through fresh snow, I had the grip and support needed. Whether you're a weekend warrior or seasoned outdoors person these boots will surely find a place in your arsenal of foot protection. Sturdy, dependable, warm.

I bought these as a lightweight pair for faster less awkward trails. They are great relatively lightweight boots. waterproofing is fine but I found when if it gets super wet these don't hold up as well as the 4D GTX pair I also have. They aren't quite as comfortable as my Merrells but they are a lot tougher when the going gets rough - excellent toecap protection and hard wearing but grippy soles. I most tend to use these as summer hiking boots and when I am looking to move quite fast and lightly loaded - I find them excellent overall but if you are going to really rough it then get the 4D GTXs as they have a bit more ankle protection and can really kick it when the going gets tough.

I have used these boots for a little over a month now. I have used them on rocky trails and sandy washes in the desert. They have great performance on varied terrain. I would buy these boots again.

Chaussures porte une journe au boulot (Chantier du btiment) histoire de les valider avant dpart. Ensuite, 50 km de rando dans le Mercantour comme si je les avais depuis toujours.

Super confortable en Rando et par tout les temps merci

I bought these for work & they are great. No breaking in period. Comfortable to run & walk with. Only downside is I was told they were black. Boot is mainly grey with some black.

I have been wearing this boot for the past several months and it is great. It is definitely not a backpacking boot, but has plenty of support for day hikes.

I bought these boots for work. Work happens to be in the harshest mountain range in the west Arizona desert. The boots fit true to size, didn't require any breaking in, and made my feet the last thing I had to worry about. The only reason I didn't give them a five star was on one of the hottest day on a nasty hike the inner soles kept bunching up near my toes. Could have been caused by sweat didn't cause any blisters just felt annoying.
