I was in search of an off trail pant that would hold up to bushwhacking and peak bagging in the rugged terrain of Glacier National Park and the Bob Marshall Wilderness. I used these pants all summer long and they proved to be extremely durable. The fabric looks as new as when I purchased them after many days bouldering up stream beds and Class 3, 4 terrain, bushwhacking in nasty thorny terrain, slipping on my butt on bear grass, and on the mountain tops. Other brands showed pilling and tearing after one use but not the Sylvite pant. I bought another pair because I loved them so much.

I love these pants. They are my go to for all outdoors trips. They are durable enough to be dragged through thin chimneys and through spiky, spiky Australian scrub (I do get spiked through them, but the material has only a couple pills and no nicks after ~50 of hard use).
They didn't take on water hiking in slushy snow, and they dry fast. The fabric is super breathable and I can see myself wearing these as sun protection on 30-45C (86-115F) days.
The fit and integrated belt is super comfy. I feel no restriction or biting and they're clearly designed to work under pack and climbing harnesses. The thigh pocket easily fits my Oppo.
I'm 5'3", 35"-27"-39" and the size 6 fits perfectly. Would recommend.

Fantastic pants. I always struggle to find pants that fit, so I was ecstatic to find these. They are designed for an athletic build; for women who actually hike and are active. They have a fitted waist, room in the rear, and a slim but athletically cut leg. The pants feel great hiking, sitting, or hanging at camp at the end of the day. The amount of spandex is perfect for comfort, and it keeps the pants soft enough that you won't hear the swish or nylon as you hike along the trail. I have these in grey and purple, and will buy them in another color if it becomes available.

I love the Arcteryx pants. They fit perfectly, are versatile and comfortable and can be dressed either up or down.
There is nothing not to love about them.

Loved the design of these pants. I have only had them a couple of months though and they already have a big gaping tear in the knee. The material is flimsy and has no ripstop in it. These pants would only be good if you wanted to hike on wide open paths with no sticks or branches around. Very disappointing that these pants are not more durable for an avid hiker considering the cost of them.
