I initially very much enjoyed these shoes. The laces broke fairly quickly, so I replaced them. The shoes fit well and were very comfortable and supportive. These aren't great for daily wear in an office setting because they look too outdoorsy, so I generally only wear them on the weekends.
After about 7 months the sides of the shoes wore out and the stitching came apart, giving up gaping holes on each side. After 8 months the stitching completely separated and is continuing to separate up to the front of the shoe, rendering it unwearable.
So, these lasted a maximum of 8 months with non-daily wear. Cannot recommend.

After 6 years, it was time to retire my original Keens after wearing on many days of hikes, rivers, bike rides, and yard work. The Rialto is clearly an upgrade over the original - slightly beefier and much more comfortable with the insole/pad. The leather is a nice addition to the Keen but it's not as visible in black as it is in Bison. I'm a size 10 but bought a size 11 due to the comments and it fits great - probably could have gone with a 10.5 but 11 works. Was afraid to wear them bz they look so great - funny - but I've now worn them on trails, beach, bike, and walks - excellent sandal and worth the extra $.

I am a long term wearer of the Keen Newport sandals (on my third pair, mostly because of heel wear). When I saw these, I thought "Hmm - these look kinda like a new improved version of the Newport". So, I tried them - and I really like them. The key differences for me are 1) the dual adjustability at both the heel and forefoot and 2) the removable footbed that makes it easier to clean it (for those times when I walk or hike in really dirty conditions). Made in USA is also a bonus. So - my Newports got relegated to back-up sandals. The break-in on these was super-fast - I wore them one day and was comfortable with taking them on an extended trip instead of the Newports

I have been wearing the Keen Rialto since I purchased the sandal. My resistance to purchasing a sandal was due to bicycling approximately 5000 miles during the major 9 month bicycling season here in the Great Lakes region with an additional 1-2500 miles during the winter if I travel south. For at least two years I have been using Keen Austin Pedal (although I do not use clipless pedals) and Keen Findlay as general casual, dress, & bicycling shoes. One of Keen s outstanding design characteristics is a wide ball of the foot without a significant narrowing of the front of the shoe/sandal to fit in the toe area. I resisted wearing a sandal due to the possibility of injuring my feet should I fall or bunk into something as I bicycle, walk, or hike. I should not have been concerned about any injury. Yesterday, I fell off my bike (A folding touring bike manufactured and designed in Oregon.) while bicycling with my Sunday bicycling group, Buccaneer Privateers of the Erie Canalway Trail. No! I did not fall into the Canal. I fell on an asphalt surface (most of the Canalway Trail surface is <1/8 sedimentary rock stone dust). Most of the Buccaneers wear Keen sandals and I might have had to walk the plank if I failed to improve my foot coverings. The Keen Rialto performed perfectly! The front bumper protected my toes. The upper straps kept their shape and protective qualities without any of the stitching showing any sign of being worn. As a sandal, the Rialto provides more than a sufficient amount of aeration for my feet while providing more than sufficient coverage to protect against sidewalk, roadway, and trail debris and irregularities. The rear Velcro strap allows me to adjust the Rialto to properly stay on my narrow heel feet/Achilles tendon area without biding. I like the elastic string method tightening the upper s straps around my foot. It does become extra long and might interfere with the chain ring on my bicycle if I don t quadruple knot it. Eventually I will cut these elastic strings and reclose with the plastic closure so as to fully prevent any interference with my bicycle s chain ring. I had a similar problem with the traditional shoe laces on the Austin Pedal oxford shoe. If Keen does produce another bicycle or outdoors sandal or shoe it should try to have a Velcro type of strap covering the elastic string or shoe lace knot area.

Great shoes! So glad to see they are made in the USA, the quality is so obvious and worth the extra cost. They are head and shoulders over the ones made in China. This is my second pair.

Excellent sandal and both comfortable and supportive. I wear a size 13 Nike, New Balance and ASICS sneakers and generally wear a size 12 in dress shoes. I bought the size 12 with the understanding that 1) these run a bit wide (slightly wider than average) and 2) I generally wear a size 12 in work/hiking boots. With that said, the size 12 fits perfectly and fits more like a size 13 sneaker than it does a size 13 dress shoe based on my experience.

This is my third pair of Keens and they have all been great investments. The Rialto seems to be a notch nicer, and the adjustable rear strap makes for a fine-tuned fit. Really couldn't be happier!

I have worn Keens for decades. These are the best. Overall build is excellent. The new improved removable foot pad is comfortable. The adjustable rear heel strap is a big plus.
I am very pleased with these USA made Keens.

I reeeeeally hate these kinds of sandals, let me say that up front... so imagine my pleasant surprise at how nice this particular pair was. Women's sandals are often too girly for me while men's are too obviously men's - these are somewhere in the middle. Really nice materials, look sturdy and well made but not unattractive, and good support. These aren't like other sports sandals - Others border on one step above water shoes, but these are much nicer.

Love 'em. Hard to wear out my last pair. Wore them for 7 Years almost daily. Hiked, walked through creeks, working in the yard, around the house.
Color: Disappointed a bit in the color. I thought the Bison was closer to Coffee, but it looks to be Olive.
Never-the-less, the Olive looks great.

On day two of my trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. Have worn my Keens exclusively during 20+ kilometers of walking and WOW! Unbelievably comfortable, despite having purchased them three days before the trip. Purchased because I wanted to replace the insoles with custom orthotics but decided to go with originals. So far so good. The sandals caused zero sore spots and feel like pillows, but give me plenty of support. Was a bit reluctant to spend this much, but am so glad I did. I purchased two pair and am keeping both. Very happy with purchase!!

The new shoes are great! I wish these came in women's sizes as well, but I just ordered 1 size smaller. Nice construction, very comfortable. The insole is removable, which is great - the only thing that would make it better would be if you could buy replacement insoles! My last pair of Keen's lasted me 3 years - everything held up great except for the support. If I could replace the footbed after two or so years, these shoes would probably last me 4-5 years.
They are a little hot wearing them with socks compared to the Keens with the "rubber" footbed that is not removable. We'll see how they do in the summer, but since I tend to wear them all year long, it's great for fall!
I also ordered the Rialto H2 which seem to be a little less wide. Those are for my walking shoes, and I ordered a half size smaller. Both seem to fit OK. I definitely recommend this new Keen style. The rubber toe is not as large either, so they look nicer!

I have been looking for new Keens to replace my old ones which were discontinued and these fit the bill. They have a soft spongy insole which was different but nice. Walked all day in Vegas with these recently and they held up well.

The most comfortable Keen sandals I've ever owned.
Have over half dozen sandals by Keen and this one is most comfortable. Its leather so not the same use as others; i.e don't intentionally get them wet. Thought the padding in foot base is Immediately noticeable as being much more comfortable than the other styles.

I love Keen sandals! This one did not disappoint. Just now broken in and feels better than the last pair that I had. Thank you Zappos for the $25 off coupon! It got me motivated. ;-)

More comfortable footbed than previous Keens; back strap makes it less of a wrestling match to get the things on your feet, but presents a different problem when the loop comes undone. Prefer this to the single loop and pull like hell solution on the other shoes though.

Great and durable sandal. Looks great and is comfortable overall. Needs some breaking in though. I walked around quite a bit the first day I wore them and got nasty blisters on the dorsal (upper) parts of my feet.

Not as much support as H2s. Foot bed is sticky and squishy. Footbed is narrower than H2s.
