So I wanted these shoes so badly. I actually ordered a size 8, 8.5, & 9 to see which I liked. Even though I am a true 9 in Nikes - I always size down for sandals for the most part unless they run small & don't make half sizes. Anyway, the 8.5 which is my go to true size is the one that fit, as I expected. The 9 wasn't so large that I wouldn't have kept it but I did not want a loose sandal. The 8 was really tight, but actually still kind of fit, and maybe now wish that I had kept it instead and here's why...after a little wear, the front strap across the foot seems to loosen up quite a bit even in the nylon style here. I thought leather would be the only culprit of this but not the case. They fit perfection when I put them on initially. Went out today to the store and it was raining, which these are actually designed for weather and terrain, so I assumed all good. However, your foot slides around considerably especially when it's raining and I even had mine pulled very tight. After noticing that I noticed my foot pushes forward through the front strap and allows my toes to hang over the front edge even though the shoes are not too small - if that makes sense to picture. It seemed in dry weather that didn't happen as much but I can only assume in warmer conditions when your feet sweat it would be the same idea. Almost a design flaw in the sense that the front strap is designed for a person with a thicker or wider foot. My foot is neither narrow or wide in my opinion but it is thin and more (bony)? for lack of a better word but technically I can not wear narrow shoes, and I can't even wear women's converse because my foot is too wide, so I know I don't have a typical narrow foot. With that said if you have a thicker or wider foot you will love these in your true to size sandal size (not workout shoe size)...and they will be great. But if you have a normal foot or narrow - I would consider buying these but not for the purpose of outdoors activities. If I went hiking or by the ocean in these things my toes would be off the front just like today while I was shopping and it is a frustrating feeling wearing outdoorsy shoes that almost fail at the outdoors part. I like my foot how it is, so I just wish they made that front strap more narrow given that it stretches anyways and would prevent your foot from sliding forward or even a built in toe separator piece would help. Anyways...amazing shoe...beautiful... perfect except that crazy front strap. I was going to go to the thong style but those have terrible reviews because of the thong piece itself being too far back in the shoe and leaving (too much space) at the front...seems to be small design flaws but really does separate a good shoe from a mediocre one. I shall wait for new designs and try again.

These are super fun sandals. I wish you could adjust the strap over the toe. It seemed a little big. I would have kept them, but when making quick moves my feet seemed to slide around.

I bought these for when I will be doing lots of walking in Europe (I hate wearing closed toed shoes in the summer heat). The reason I really like these is that the criss cross straps make the foot look shapely, and the overall look is a bit more trendy than most of these kinds of sandals. The straps are not too loose or too tight and it makes it so your foot literally does not have to "work" at keeping the sandal on your foot. Lastly, because of this security on the foot and the great thickness of the sole, not only does it make walking on rocks/uneven surfaces completely comfortable and stable feeling, but it feels like you're walking on a cushion! I have yet to take these to Europe, but I can see how I will wear these all day and my feet will not hurt at all by the day's end.

These are extremely comfortable, lightweight, and supportive enough to walk around in all day. They are great for people with wider feet. I bought these after trying several other kinds of hiking sandals (Chacos, Keens, even several other styles of Teva) and being unable to wear them because they were all too narrow. I ended up loving these because they are so lightweight and comfortable. They're also way easier to adjust than the many other similar styles with tons of movable straps. It does take a few wears to break in the straps a bit, but it is 100% worth it. I ended up ordering a second pair in another pattern and may order a third. I live in Arizona where people wear sandals almost all year, and after months of hard use, both pairs still look like new. There is moderate arch support, so if you have high arches or narrow feet, these may not be the best for you. I also recommend ordering a half-size up because they run a little small.

This is my new all time favorite sandal! I was on the hunt for months for a sandal I could walk all day in and I finally found it in these. They're comfortable and surprisingly cute and versatile.

First off, these are the most comfortable hiking/sport/Teva/outdoor/etc. sandals I've ever worn. Have tried Chaco, Teva universal, and a few others. The tooling on these is supremely soft. The nylon is also much softer than the Teva Universal. Sizing is pretty true- beware that, due to there being no toe securing strap, the tightness of the heel strap can push your foot forward. While I felt the sizing was pretty flexible on these (purchased an 8.5, my others are 8's and I didn't feel like I was totally swimming but I could definitely size down), the crucial part of the equation is how well that toe "band" fits your foot. These probably aren't appropriate for intense outdoor activity as you'll probably slip forward and over the footbed is you use them too intensely/if the footbed gets wet. Also, as is the case with all Teva nylon strap sandals, the nylon stretches when it gets wet so it's best to err on the smaller size if you plan on any water activities. To top it off, the design is very flattering- I have wider feet and the cross-strapping on the top of the foot looks sleek and accentuates any shape I have. This is week #1 wearing them off and on for light duty walking/beachcombing.

The sole of this sandal is well made and very comfortable. It's too bad they didn't invest more in the upper. It is thin, flimsy and also scratchy. The strap just behind the toe was a little loose but they were ok to walk in.

Hands down the best sandal I have ever tried on!.. This shoe is so comfortable you feel you are wearing nothing. Lightweight but sturdy, and I love the style.

So comfortable I ordered another pair in blue. Have walked miles in them and am still loving them!

Love them!!! comfort and style. I picked black and now I am looking at the purple ones. I am typically a 7.5 or 8, so I ordered the 8= great fit!

These are so comfortable and I'm sure I'll be wearing them all summer long. I love Tevas and these are especially cushy.

These are awesome! Comfortable, soft, and the white part on the bottom is not as noticeable as I thought it would be. If you are a fan of Chacos, you will really like these. The nylon straps have a cool pattern and they are outdoor sandals that will just as good in the city and while traveling as on the river or hiking.

The foot bed was amazingly comfortable and supportive. However I couldn't get the heel strap adjusted so my foot felt secure. I tried to tighten it, but then my whole foot was pushed forward, making my toes go too near the edge. And once I tried to tighten, there was very little velcro that overlapped to secure it.

I have two pairs of these, in 9.5 and 10. I usually wear a 10, which is what I ordered the first time around. Those were a bit long and the strap over the toes was very loose. But I kept them for casual bike riding and ordered a 9.5 for walking/hiking. Those fit great, but after a month of walking 3-4 hours a day several times a week, the cushy support had compacted so much that my feet felt bruised at the end of the day. Not very durable considering the price. They're cute and comfy, but should probably only be used for very casual activity.

They don't feel sturdy or like they'll last as long as I'd want for how much they cost. The footbed is very comfortable. The toe strap was a bit loose. I returned.

Not what I expected from Teva. I originally ordered them because I liked the idea of an adjustable back closure. However, the front strap was way too lose for my foot. Also,I didn't feel that the quality was there for the price point. While lightweight the sole seems to be lacking something for me.

Sadly returning these cute sandals because the strap is too long for my ankles (barely touches the velcro!) and the soles have no arch support so my feet hurt when wearing them.

This is great looking but my foot kept slipping forward and back. It the strap across the toes was adjustable it would then hold my foot in place.

I've bought two pair of these sandals. Love the fit and comfort.
