I have to say the PrAna Stretch Zion pants are the most comfortable pants I've ever owned. I wore them nearly every day on our 10 day Iceland vacation in a variety of weather conditions, from sunny 60 degree weather to rainy, windy, low 50 degree weather, and I was amazed how windproof and water resistant these pants are! They stay dry in light rain or drizzle. On one especially wet day while hiking through wet underbrush they eventually soaked through, but nothing short of Gore Tex would have stayed dry that day. I have not worn them in hot weather so I cannot comment on their summer comfort. They are casual yet dressy enough that I wear them to work and out to town for concerts, etc. With the 2% spandex in the fabric there is just enough stretch to allow easy movement in any activity. I like these pants so well i'm asking Santa to bring me another pair or two. Their fit falls on the slim to standard fit side, as I am 5'11" and 160 lbs. They run true to size in length and waist. Another cool feature is their snaps on the lower legs to allow them to be rolled up above boot top in muddy conditions without hogging up your pants legs. I am impressed with PrAna quality as I also have one of their shirts and it is a favorite. Yes, they are less expensive garments out there, but you do get what you pay for.

These pants are great for traveling. Wore them for 2 weeks through China. They went through days of hiking, sun, humidity, foreign food scents, cigarette smoke...and they didn't smell at all. Not too hot. Comfortable too, and great for airplanes. The cinch belt is great, and pockets are a good size. The zippered cargo pocket looks a little dorky if full, but serves its purpose. It does tend to stretch after several wears, and I wish the ankles were slimmer (but it is a rock climbing pant, after all). But beware the waist sizing - you have to size down. I'm a 32 waist and the 30 fit me perfectly. I'd buy another if it came in navy, and I'm looking forward to getting more Prana clothing.

I’ve had the ladies version of these pants for a long time. Hubby kept saying how much he liked them. Especially when my pants stayed dryer than his jeans during a rain storm we got caught in on our vacation. So I got him some for Christmas. He loves the fit and comfort. Constantly talks about how nice they are and how great they look. Definitely worth the price

Now my 3rd pair of these pants…..love the fit, and give. Based on sizing/body measurement charts I'm supposed to wear "32" waist (with all brands) but because I have wide hips relative to my waist I go with size 33 and they are perfect……I don't nesacarrily have big quads….but prefer pants/shorts that allow some room and these deliver. Love that Zappos carries these in the 34" inseam as well…..hate wearing high water's…..

So far these are one of the most comfortable pants I've owned. I got them to work in, I was looking for something cool, that would dry out easily. They have just the right amount of stretch, which is what I need. I haven't had them long enough to comment on wear, but I have noticed they are easy to dust off.

It's very difficult to find clothes for tall and lean preteens & teens. These pants are great, come in smaller sizes with length options, dry quickly and look great. Wish they weren't so expensive.

My new fav pants! Love the color, fit, style, but most of all I love the internal belt. Maybe I'm weird, but my waist expands and contracts a bit throughout the day, i.e. after lunch... And simple tug on the cinch and viola! Love them for hiking and all around.

This is my third pair (all different colors) and they are an awesome pair of pants, they are very comfortable, they wear very well (last a long time) as I normally wear a hole in the crotch of most pants. They look nice enough to wear to work in a business casual setting, and make sitting all day quite comfortable.

Super comfortable. Will not shrink, can be worn as dress pants or casual outdoors. They feel nice on the skin, will for sure buy other colors.

I found these to be reasonably loose but ot baggy. The number of pockets and the materail made them great for travel. Unfortunately I had to return them because the pockets were way to shallow/small for my kind of travel and the cargo pocket is hard to use and not very big. My passport wallet could fit comfortably in any of the pockets. The material is great, very quick dry and a nice blend for multi-season travel. These pants would be perfect for me if the pockets were more useful.

These pants would be much better if they were stretchier the nylon is just too rigid. I see other people think these pants are very comfortable but I find them to be itchy. The room in the thighs is also limited. The button snaps are a plus and the pants look good.

These pants just aren't worth it. There is only one cargo pocket with a flap/zipper and side zipper. The material is stretchy, which is nice, but the waist band is not stretchy at all. There is no give in the waist band. The button in the middle will dig into your abdomen. They are extremely lightweight, but are easy to snag. I would not recommend these for camping or hiking.

The fit was perfection The fit was perfect (for me); Extremely well made to last for years (if properly taken care of). This one of those products that are on an upper level of quality by itself.

Like every other piece of Prana clothing i've purchased, these Stretch Zion pants have not disappointed. I bought these for working on farms in the tropical climate of Hawaii's Big Island, and also for wilderness backpacking. As usual I'm impressed by the style, functionality and quality of construction of this Prana garment. My one minor complaint is that the circumference of the leg opening from the knee through ankle is rather wide for my tastes. There is zero tapering and i'm not accustomed to looking down and seeing so much fabric hanging around my calves and ankles. I couldn't find my size in the Prana Stretch Zion straight pant, which has a slimmer profile. Nonetheless, i'd still recommend these pants, especially if you like a looser fit.

A great set of pants except for one thing - they really flare out from the shins down. I had to do a bit of tailoring to get them to more of a tapered cut. If it weren’t for that, I’d probably grab another pair if it comes in other colors.

Wow. Have to agree with all the reviews. Most comfortable pants I have ever worn. Fit perfectly. Very easy to move around in. We’re so comfortable to wear while hiking that I decided to wear them snowboarding since it was so warm outside. Really waterproof. Only got wet because my shirt was wet from sitting in the snow too long enjoying the scenery at Mammoth mountain. Was surprised how quickly they dried out. Definitely getting another pair. I will be wearing these a lot. Not just for hiking because they are just so comfortable

Great pants, true to size and very comfortable. Incredibly diverse as they work well no just for hiking but travel, lounging and work outdoors. I know that some reviewers have complained about they're durability but I've had a couple pair that I've worn a lot for a few years and they have held up fine.

There is about a 2" vanity waist size reduction in these pants. I tape out at 37" (gasp!) and bought the 35" waist pants and they fit great. The inseam length is accurate. I really like these pants as a casual alternative to jeans and they are much cooler to wear in the summer. I consider them too nice to wear hiking, but they would be great for that also.
