Did you change the straps from fabric to leather? I've had several pairs of these sandals and they had fabric straps. I was surprised and a little disappointed that the straps were different than I expected. They are tighter on my foot. I hope they stretch out to be as comfortable as my previous pairs.

Very comfortable sole. The strap between the toes is a little uncomfortable at first but just takes a few wears to wear in.

Good for everyday wear

I wore them to work and my toes hurt by the end of the day. So now I can only wear them for a short period of time. I would try a different pair that I saw in a store but couldn't find online. It had a different, softer strap material

I miss the yoga spree sandals from like 4 years ago. Before the strap was made with metallic thread. The smooth strap yoga sprees were the BEST!!!

I am writing to echo what others have said about the straps being a problem. The yoga mat sole is wonderful, and while I find the sizing of the sole to be true to size, the tightness of straps make the fit uncomfortable. I'm an 8 although in some shoes 7.5 and others 8.5, but this size 8 flip SHOULD fit perfectly based on the sole - my toes and heel all fit nicely. Except these silly straps are so tight that I can't squeeze my foot into them the right way! It means there's an inch or so extra above the toes and my heels come right to the edge in the back. I have very narrow feet, so while I've decided to keep them because I'm hoping the straps will stretch over time, I can imagine someone with wider feet wouldn't be able to tolerate the tight fit. I'm not sure going up a size would help.

I purchased a pair of Sanuk sandals just by chance for a trip to the East coast for the 10 year anniversary of 9/11. The sandals were phenomenal! I loved everything about them. It was just this month that they were looking rather haggard that I decided to purchase a new pair. I searched for the same pair. Yoga Bliss was the closest sandal I could find. When I received my order I was sorely disappointed. I ordered 2 pairs of Yoga Bliss sandals, one in brown and one in black both in size 9. Neither pair fit nor were the 9's the same size between colors. I sent both pair back. Returning the brown pair and exchanging the black pair for a size 10. Customer service was very efficient. I received my exchange and my refund promptly and without any issues. I dislike the sandals. I'm aware that the sandal is a bit heavier due to the yoga mat construct. My old pair had a leather cloth type material strap. The Yoga Bliss has a plastic feeling strap. I'm sure it's durable but it's uncomfortable to wear. It hurts in between my toes and it chafes the top of my foot. Additionally, the overall design of the sandal is much narrower than my original pair. It feels as though my heel is larger than the sandal which adds to the discomfort. I loved my original pair that lasted me probably much longer than I should have had them, 5+ years. I'd brag about them to everyone. I strongly dislike my new pair and most likely will not be a repeat customer.

The newer Yoga Bliss line is much more narrow than the perfect Yoga Spree 2. As much as I wish I could love the Bliss, I don't. Please bring back the Yoga Spree 2!!!

I have several pairs of Yoga Bliss and the recent order I received was very disappointing. All of my sandals are the same size. The ones I received were very narrow. The thong part was too tight and the bottoms were very hard (not squishy yoga mats).

I have an older pair of these sandals and they were the absolute best flip flops I have ever owned. Since it was time to replace them, I ordered 2 more pair and was SO disappointed to see how much the sizing changed. Listen to the other reviews that say these are really narrow, it was shocking. So bummed because the look and comfort are there. I am not even sure that moving a full size up will help, just oddly small. Bummer. The slim sadie flip flops fit less narrow so I think I will order those instead (still sizing up).

The new style with plastic straps is super tight and uncomfortable as though the strap is too short on toes. I hope the fabric strap is returned.

I bought these to take with me on my Caribbean vacation and for walking from the room down to the beach they are fine. They fit well, are reasonably comfortable for being the thinner sandals. But if you walk any further these stiff awful painful plastic straps will rub holes in the top of your feet! If you plan on actually wearing them around for the day,bring extra shoes for when you can't take these anymore. Regretting my purchase!
