inally, a shoe that fits my foot! I'm a walker and have worn Brooks for years but became disappointed with the changes they made over the last 2-3 years, especially in the GTS. Then along came the Ravenna 7! I had to size up when Brooks started making changes but with the R7 I can wear my regular size of 10D (womens). My left foot has problems with neuroma, bunion, and arthritis and I find when I wear Ravenna 7 the neuroma doesn't bother me and I can go all day without thinking about foot pain/discomfort. The toebox has plenty of room but the heel (mine is narrow) is snug and deep enough to accommodate my orthotics. It has plenty of cushion throughout yet the shoe continues to have stability. My favorite: the shoe feels like it wraps the foot from the heel thru the instep....great comfort! Thanks to Zappos for the great customer service and shipping so many pairs for me to try!

These are terrific shoes! I hated like anything to pay so much for tennis shoes, but I would do it again tomorrow. I walk for exercise, five miles a day, so my feet take a beating. I tried cheap shoes, thinking since I was not running, just walking, I would not need really good shoes. I was so wrong! The Ravenna has a footbed that is perfect for walking. The support is great, also. If you walk long distances, these are wonderful shoes.

Brooks are great shoes! To pick the right type for your foot and activity, they have an algorithm on their official website that helps guide you to the right style for you. Go run through it, then find the recommended shoe on Zappos!!

My last pair of Ravenna 5's (I stock up when I find a shoe I love) had just worn out and after reading unfavorable reviews for the Ravenna 6, I had decided to wait until the 7 made its debut. This shoe has been comfortable out of the box, accommodating my long narrow foot and my long toes. Both the arch and support are great for road runs and gym workouts. There are so few running shoes that will work for narrow footed runners and walkers-this one is excellent.

My transition from the Ravenna 5 to the Ravenna 7 has been smooth. I find the fit to be similar, and the 7 has been comfortable right out of the box.

Fabulous running shoes! I've worn & loved all Ravenna's until the 6, which didn't work for me. So glad the 7's are back to being a great neutral running shoe!

This is my first pair of Ravennas. I have worn Brooks Adrenalins in the past, but my last pair did not work well for me. They were too wide and I kept getting shin splints. These shoes seem to have solved my problems. They are narrower in the arch and help me to run correctly as I tend to over pronate. They also help me to have a mid-foot strike and land more softly. I am impressed and my next pair will definitely be Ravenna as well. I love this color too!

These shoes feel great for a wide foot because of bunions, smaller heel, but without significant arch support, they didn't feel as stable to me. Cushioning was okay but I wanted a bit more in the forefoot. If you have normal, younger feet, these will be great!

I had high hopes for these shoes. I have worn ASICS Kayanos for years now, but they recently changed design/materials, etc. and the new version is crap. So, tried these - seemed to work, comfortable, wore for about 3 days until I realized I was having knee pain that only started after I began wearing these. Quit wearing them and am only wearing my Ahnu hiking shoes...the knee pain is nearly gone after only about 36 hours of NOT wearing the Ravennas. Back they go!

Horrible - instant pain in the instep of my foot as soon as I stood up. Have worn Brooks for years and years and every single pair I have tried so far in the last six months totally wrong. Brooks is hyping their "all new redesign" and I am coming to the sad conclusion that their "redesign" means I will no longer be able to wear their shoes. Had been a loyal customer for many years but a shoe that hurts from the minute I put it on, will not get better with time. Color was much brighter than it seemed online and the exterior finish instead of seeming high-tech, now just seems cheap and plastic-y. Very disappointed with the shoes and returned them.

Most comfortable running shoes EVER! I wear a size 10 in almost everything and Brooks were no different.

This is my 8th pair of Brooks Running Shoes and my 6th time getting the 'Ravenna' model. I used to buy Asics but once trying Brooks I never went back. I Absolutely LOVE the Ravenna model. It is the only shoe I trust to get me through my workouts without knee or foot pain. I am a middle aged sports princess mom-warrior, who walks 3-5 miles daily, plays volleyball, hikes, and runs occasionally. The Ravenna just makes my feet feel great, I really don't think about why but they work for me. Generally Zappos has them competitively priced and with free shipping and returns how can you lose? The Sale priced Brooks might be last year’s model but for me that’s not a big deal; I’d rather save the $$, plus I am never concerned with the colors so much as getting shoes I love that function for me at a great price.

I really love this running shoe. It was uncomfortable to run in at first but once I broke them in the were exactly the support that I needed.

I have horrible feet! When I was 22, my feet just simply fell apart! After many surgeries and procedures, nothing being successful, I was told I had to order shoes from a specific list and wear special orthotics for my feet. After trying many brands and styles of tennis shoes, Brooks are the only ones which support my feet, and I have found huge success in the Ravenna line! They are comfortable, allow room for my special orthotics, and last a long time. They are lightweight, yet super durable for my active lifestyle. I renew my shoes every 6-8 months, and I look forward to the new colors each season! The break-in period for these shoes doesn't affect me nor the conditions in my feet! Simply lovely!

I've been wearing Brooks for years and the colors just keep getting worse. I tried these and the Adrenaline GTS 17. I so wanted those to fit because they look better. These fit perfectly. I have a narrow foot and extremely high arches.

I am a nurse and work long twelve hour days. My arches in my feet are breaking down and I have a lot of pain. I bought these and they are amazing! My feet are not hurting at the end of the day! They give a lot of support and stability!

I had Ravennas previously and was in need of new shoes! I bought these and am not disappointed. The color is great and I have gotten many compliments on them! I usually wear a 5-5.5. I ordered a 5.5. Probably could have gotten away with a 5, but the fit I don't good.

Great running shoe for pronator, although not strictly marketed as a stability shoe. I am a low mileage runner ( maybe 10 mi/ wk) but also wear my running shoes for gym workouts 2-3x/ week and whenever I travel for work so I can run at my destination. I had the Ravenna 6 ladt year and it wore very evenly which meant that this shoe provides the right amount of support for my feet. Toe box is roomy enough for my bunion. I liked the hot pink color. So all in all this was a great shoe for me.

This is my first pair of exercise shoes that help with my over-pronation so my feet are adjusting with a little soreness here & there. I will certainly but from Zappos again if the style has correction for over-pronation. Thank You Zappos.

Awesome support and comfort!! I was having knee issues because my NB running shoes did not have enough support or absorption. I can run in these sneakers with zero issues. They feel like they cradle my feet and provide great support.

These shoes are fantastic. They are light weight and very comfortable. I wear them for walking several miles a day and they are perfect!
