I had this sandal in all leather (loved it) a few years ago and so I ordered this one. Do not like the material strap that goes across the toes. No give to that one. shoe hurts after a short while. I want the old all leather one back. I still wear the old ones but there is not much of the velcro strips left.

I'll start with this: I'm a huge Merrill fan; for years I've sworn by their shoes and my favorite hiking shoes continue to be a pair of trailing running shoes I've had for three years and put hundreds of miles on. With that in mind, here's my review: When I first got these, I was super excited to have a sandal like chacos but half the price and cuter. These are definitely look great on... Until you start walking. The back of the sandal sits very low on your ankle, and mine kept slipping down and so I'd use the Velcro to tighten the sides and then the Velcro would release and my whole foot would slide out. I'm not one of those barbarians who slip into sandals like these and wear them around without putting on the ankle strap, so there is no argument to be made that I ruined the structure of these and that's why they slid off so consistently and easily. I put up with them because I didn't have another sandal to wear, and then the material under my big toe ripped (within two weeks of buying them). Since then, they've quickly deteriorated; the only reason I still wear them is because I don't think buying multiple pairs of sandals in one summer is sustainable (fiscally and environmentally), but every time I put them on I get frustrated as they slip off my foot and the ripped material under my feet is uncomfortable; I've been wearing a lot more of my Keens. Very disappointed! Would not recommend if you like walking in your sandals.

Love these shoes! Bought them to walk in Disney with for the week. Walked over 5 miles a day and didn't have one problem. I can't order shoes online and have a really hard time finding shoes, but these were amazing. A little big (typically a size 8 1/2 ordered a 9). The length was good but I have a narrow foot and needed to adjust the straps. The front was still a little big but it was fine. Highly recommend.

I got these for a trip to Washington DC. They were very comfortable walking up to 9 miles a day! They were more comfortable than my running shoes. One of my feet is a half size larger and I often have a hard time finding sandals that are both comfortable and cute. The color is a dark nave and not black if that is a concern. The only issue is that the footbed is a comfy suede type material and shows dirt quickly.

I really love these sandals! This is my third pair! The only thing I wish the company would change is the footbed lining. The suede lining gets discolored over time and is impossible to clean. That’s the main reason I need to buy another pair! Hmmm... could this be why they use this lining?!

I really like these sandals. However, I have extreme foot issues and the tricky part of any footwear is the arch and foot-bed support. I question if there is enough arch for when I walk for any length of time or distance.

I bought these because they are similar to other Merrell sandals that I have had over the years. They are extremely comfortable, the sizing is accurate, and it is very easy to adjust the width to fit well. I have very narrow heels, so finding sandals that fit well is difficult. I tried a different model of Merrell sandals that were available at Academy Sports but they did not have a way to adjust the heel. The Terran Lattice II has two velcro adjustments for the heel, one of each side, so the heel can be adjusted to fit almost any width. There are also velcro adjustments for the main front straps, so that helps if you have a high instep like I do. The leather is very nice and the footbed is comfortable enough to wear them all day with no problems.

My teenaged daughter has worn this this shoe nearly every day for two years. I've bought her this second pair to replace those. She lives in them and they held up well given heavy use.

These are comfortable and light weight! They have stability for walking around and are also nice enough to wear with a dress or a skirt. I am excited to bring them as my sandals to Peru. My one concern is that the Velcro doesn't seem to be super strong especially around the ankles. *I bought a similar this shoe years ago from Merrell and wore them frequently. Eventually the Velcro stopped working but otherwise it was awesome and I am happy to find almost the same shoe again.

Merrell Terran Lattice II are a comfortable alternative to Tevas with a slightly more refined look. The straps are mostly leather nubuck with the exception of one decorative strap which is made of a strong type of fabric. The footbed is soft and nicely cushioned. It has a good arch support. Seems true to size. I wear a size 10 in Merrells usually and the size 10 Lattice II fits well. Would be nice to see this offered in all leather nubuck upper as well though.

I like the look of these shoes. My only complaint with them is that the strap with the buckle is so long and it is not adjustable. I liked them so much that I took them to a shoe repair store and paid to have the strap shortened. So, after some modification I love them.

I really wanted to be able to keep this sandal. I loved the adjustable straps and the overall look of this sandal. However, it did not provide enough arch support for me. I had foot pain walking in these sandals in a short amount of time around my house due to not enough arch support. Let me add the disclaimer that I have plantar fasciitis.

I bought these shoes for my honeymoon to Spain and Italy. My goal was to find a pair of shoes that I could wear with dresses, still be somewhat fashionable, but have some support. I think they did end up looking okay with dresses and were only mildly uncomfortable. There were a few spots that rubbed, but bandaids solved that problem. One annoying part was that the velcro makes it impossible to tighten the straps past a certain point, and one of the straps is not adjustable.
