These are very comfortable. I wore them on a trip where I was walking two miles right off the bat. I kept them on long afterwards. I replaced the insoles with my orthotics.

The shoes look great; however they are too wide in the heel, even with an insert. Will be sending back. The front of shoe fit great.

While these don't come in Narrow they fit like it so good choice for a narrow foot. Merrell sizing seems to be all over the place however. I wear and ordered an 8 which were too long. The 7 1/2 fit great. In another Merrell shoe the 8 had to really be a 7 given how short it was. And I was ordering a 2nd pair of ones I already owned. The inconsistent sizing is a negative but in the end I've found Merrell shoes to be comfortable and last a long time.

This is the perfect travel shoe I was looking for! Lightweight, removable insoles to allow for orthotics and comfortable from the minute I put them on. I have very good luck with Merrill shoes, dependable sizing and comfortable fit. I recommend upgrading the inserts in the shoe if you need great arch support.

I was looking for a simple, comfortable black shoe for work (an office, but I don't have to dress up since my job is sitting in a back room scanning and filing invoices) these do the job better than I thought they would. At first when I slipped them on, the material felt harder than I wanted, but after wearing them around and out at work, my feet felt like I was walking on a cloud, it was kind of a bizarre thing considering they felt a little hard at first! But I did not have a breaking-in period, they felt amazing from the start- never hurt- I've been wearing them for 1 month now. I like how they look, too, I wear them out as well with jeans. I've ordered a few Merrell shoes, I keep buying them because they seem to be a very well made and long lasting.

Nicely styled shoe but didn't have enough cushioning for my old runner's feet. Probably would be fine for most people.

Need a semi-stylish shoe to wear with orthotics, and this pair was just the thing. Definitely comfortable for all-day wear. Felt narrow in toe box, but loosening the laces a little bit fixed that.

This shoe is absolutely darling but I have hard to fit feet.They look really cute on but not comfortable for me. I tried two sizes and sadly this shoe is just not for me and I am returning them.

Unlike many Merrells this one run does not run slightly short. Fits 8B perfectly. I did not find the heel too wide although I have narrow heels. Very comfortable, nice amount of support for an everyday street shoe, not bulky, not too sporty. The outsole has some give under the heel so the insole doesn't have to do all the work by itself. The Taupe is a creamy off white shade that gives it that summer oxford look that is fashionable now. I will probably buy the black also.

I've tried a lot of tennis shoes, and have 2 complaints. They're either too heavy or they're too thin and don't give much support. This Merrell does both. In black, they're sleek. The contrasting textures look good. They feel like they were designed to be enjoyed on long walks or for just hanging out. I really like them.

These shoes are the second of two identical pairs I ordered. This pair is too large while the other pair fit fine??

I love these shoes! They are perfect for many occasions. I have a narrow foot but it you have a wider foot, the Ceylon Sport Zip might be a better fit. I know this because the Sport Zip was too big for me.

After giving the Ceylon a good review, I have changed my mind. The problem is that the collar of the shoe has no structure and you can't snug it up when you tie the laces. It was perfect otherwise.

These were narrower in the toe box than my other Merrells and seemed smaller overall. I love the look of them but had to send them back. I may try the zip style, since someone said it runs wider.

yikes. impossible to break-in. I have blisters on my heel that may never heal. I've had, and loved, so many Merrells and never had this problem. Don't know why the back of this shoe is so stiff and unbending. Wish I could return but I've been hoping/trying to break them in so they aren't returnable now. But also not wearable.
