Merrell Moab Edge, where have you been all my life? These shoes are wonderful: comfortable, supportive of the foot, good width in the toe box, and a wonderful sole which has good grip and also helps roll the foot forward (a great help as I have an old injury on the top of one foot). I like the looks too; I got the gray which has green accents and is not too bright so I can wear them everywhere. I have quite bad feet and am thrilled when I find shoes which present no problems. Thanks, Merrell, and thanks, Zappos.

This shoe has an excellent arch support. I usually wear the Merrill Jungle Moc which works great for fall and winter, but are too warm for summer. So I ordered these and they are wonderful. I've had back surgery and it has been hard to find a shoe with an excellent arch support. I wear a size 7W but even though these don't come in wide, they fit perfect. They have a wide toe bed and even my bunion likes these shoes. When my feet are happy, I'm happy!

Merrell makes great products, and this pair is no exception. I returned this particular shoe because it was clunkier than I wanted. Probably a great shoe for more serious hikers, but I am just doing light hiking and trail walking, so I opted for a lighter Merrell that still had great traction (the All Out Crush Light, which I totally love, even just for everyday walking!). I normally wear 7 or 7.5 and the 7.5 fit fine with a standard sock.

Love these Merrell Moab Edge shoes! I ordered my regular size 9M, and they fit perfectly. Plenty of toe room, good arch support and not too big in the heel(sometimes a problem for me). Even better, they make your feet look smaller! No break-in required; I wore them 3 hours first day while shopping.

these shoes have...wait for it... a r c h s u p p o r t, and a comfortable foot bed. they're great. i wear these on my treadmill where i walk 6 miles at a time. there is enough room for my toes to wiggle. i had been wearing the asics kayanos to run/walk, and the toe box in the 22s pinched my toes terribly. i was wearing my keen targhees until i found this great lightweight highly supportive shoe. i've bought 2 pairs of these within a span of 2 months. good job merrell! keep makin' 'em.

I've worn 2 pairs of Merrell Ventilators for the past 2 years and holes have worn through in the big toe area. I'm hoping this won't happen with the Moeb Edge. Comfortable right out of the box, light-weight and excellent arch support. New Balance was my walking shoe previously, but switched over to Merrell because they're so comfortable and light-weight.

I wanted to love these, but had to return them. The arch curve was in the wrong place for my foot, it was too far back towards the heel. I compared the insoles to a couple out of my other shoes and the curve is in a different place. They were comfortable otherwise and I like the look, seem like a nice quality shoe.

I really wanted these to work! Unfortunately, the placement of the arch support just didn't hit in the right place for me. I am usually a 9, and the arch felt OK, but the shoe felt short. I tried a 9.5, and the arch was almost under my heel.

Love, love, love. Merrell always delivers a great shoe. Comfortable, true to size - put them on and wore them a whole day with true comfort! Plus I got them on sale, which is a plus!

I bought these shoes for hiking in CO. They are a lot more comfortable that I thought they would be! Very supportive and have great traction. My first spin in them was in 14 degree weather and the trail was a bit icy. I never felt like I lost my footing and they kept my feet pretty warm considering I only had on one pair of socks. They do feel a bit bigger than other shoes that I have bought in the same size. Great shoe, though!

My fiance recommended the Ventilator (Beluga/Lilac). I glanced at reviews for the Moab Edge (Black/Purple), which had better reviews for arch support, so I ordered those too.
The shoes arrived very quickly (I <3 Zappos). Right away, the Moab Edge were a better fit. There was a noticeable difference in arch support, and tilt of the shoe. The Ventilator felt as if I were standing flat footed, and the Edge felt like I was in a running shoe, heels slightly elevated. I have high arches and really need the support, so the Moab Edge won. The Ventilator color scheme was attractive, but subtle. The Edge was more fun. I loved the vibrant purple shoelaces. So right away, I knew I was keeping the Edge, but wasn't sure about the size.
I ordered Size 9. Normally I wear sandals Size 8, shoes Size 8.5, boots and running sneakers Size 9. The toe on the Edge felt fine, but the body felt like my foot was floating. My fiance assured me his felt the same, yet somehow felt OK. I ordered Size 8.5 just to be sure, but turned out to be too small in the toe. I kept the 9 and LOVE them!
So happy hiking now, very grippy, and still a bit floaty in the width but weirdly OK. I used to figure skate and as a result I have a weird obsession about shoes feeling snug and firmly secured to my foot, yet I'm good with these. I love looking down on a hike and seeing the cheerful purple laces. Highly recommend!

Walking 2 dogs twice a day, 7 days a week I need good shoes and Merrell shoes fit that need. The shoes are comfortable , fit my size 9 perfectly and look great as well. I have several other Merrell shoes and know and trust the brand. A quality shoe that I can heartily recommend

I love these shoes. When I first tried them on, they seemed to encompass my feet with comfort. I'm not kidding. Now that I've been wearing them, I'm still not kidding.

I have recently gotten into hiking trails (nothing too crazy) and I have been looking for a nice pair of hiking shoes. I debated on which Merrell hiking shoe to get, but I decided on the grey Moab Edge. I have not worn them hiking yet but they are comfy and actually look cute too! I am excited to try them out and so far I am very happy with my purchase. Thanks Zappos!

Great shoe but cut too narrow for my foot. After wearing just a few minutes around the house, the bone below my smallest toe (I guess you could call it a tiny bunion) started aching from the pressure. Too bad because they are otherwise very comfortable, light weight, good arch support and good looking. But they are going back in exchange for the Merrell Siren Edge which has a slightly wider, more rounded toe box.

I'm on a (so far) fruitless quest to find hiking shoes that are comfortable with my bunions, and don't look too dorky to wear traveling in European cities. Being waterproof, too, is apparently way too much to ask. These are relatively cute, but unfortunately are too tight. I appreciate that they don't have straps or stiff leather over my bunion area--that helps--but they're still too narrow there. Why doesn't Merrell make *all* their shoes/boots in wide? If you don't have bunions, these would be great. The arch support is extra high and firm, if you like that.

I usually wear an 8 in most shoes, but these seem to run a little big. Too much room in the toe box.

These are okay and may work for some women, but they didn't for me. I always wear either a size 8 or 8.5, ordered the 8.5 and they were slightly too big (not sure if it's just my foot, or if these run large). I returned them for that reason, but also because I didn't like the styling after all. The black and purple looked too masculine for me (sort of like bones in the design), and a bit clunky. I have a narrow foot, but slight bunion issues and a high arch. Maybe it's just because the sizing was off, but they didn't feel as comfortable as my old North Face hikers I'm trying to replace. Onward with the search.
