I have been buying a lot of shoes from Zappos and these shoes I was not happy on how they looked. They picture looked better than when they arrived in person. The good thing about Zappos is that I am able to return them without issues. I always get all my shoes in wide but these shoes width were to big and made my feet look too large. If you are going to get these shoes maybe get them in regular size before going with wide.

Purchased these for my 13 year-old to wear hiking with his Outdoor Education class and they were perfect. He said they were comfortable and were perfect for walking on trails.

I require a wider foot width and these hiking boots delivered the perfect results.I will definitely purchase these again in the future.They are lighter yet built with the integrity of fit and comfort for the long haul.

I like this shoe because its aggressive and I am pretty certain not to slip on the mossy, wet paths I walk / jog during the winter months. Its light weight, supportive, warm and dry. So far a great shoe for me at a fair price. I like fair. Thanks Zappos !

First time Merrell's user. Love 'em Comfortable from the moment I put them on. I have hard feet to fit but these fit quite well. Feels like I'm walking on a cloud. Excellent choice.

I wear and ordered a 9 medium; the fit was right on. Wore the boots one day around the house followed by a moderate five mile hike in Arizona red rock country near Sedona. No issues arose, very comfortable.

This runs a little bit long. My issue was with the feel around my ankle. Felt so stiff and uncomfortable. Not something I felt would soften up to quickly.
