I usually wear an 8 but had to go with a 7 in this style. The footbed is very comfortable, even compared to Crocs although not as soft. These will be great go to casual comfort sandals, offering some coverage as well as some ventilation. These are flattering to the leg with crop and ankle pants.

The leather is pretty and soft. The sandal seems wider than M. I'm a 6.5 wide, so I usually order 7M, but in this sandal, it was too wide. I'm not crazy about straps you have to buckle (instead of velcro).

Loved this shoe, but it was just too big in my regular size 6 and that is the smallest size available. Great cushioned foot bed and soft leather upper. Sad to have to return.

These are a great pair of shoes! A style that never goes out of fashion, and they go with everything. Very comfortable, with nice and durable leather. I had a pair similar but not Born brand that I wore probably 7 years until they fell apart. I expect to get more from this pair. They look great with shorts or capris, business or casual dress. I am very satisfied!

Nice looking shoes, and great for work/casual situations in which a little more coverage than a strappy sandal is desired. Like others have mentioned, I ordered a size down and the 8 works perfectly for my usually-9 foot. I plan to take them on a European trip this summer and am confident they'll be perfect for long days with a lot of walking, but for which I also want to look like I have some fashion sense. I like 'em! I just keep coming back to Born.

These are my new go to black sandal for Spring summer and fall! Love them. Very comfy and I have fussy feet! Great with rolled up jeans or maxi skirts, shorts or capris. Can't go wrong with these!

I wish the sole wasn't quite so hiking sandal like but all in all still very good looking and comfortable! The cushiony soles are great in a sandal, big city hikes on asphalt should be much more painless with these!

I have a very very high instep. These were very tight across the top of my foot. Very comfortable otherwise. Sending back.

I love everything about these shoes. They hit that delicate point that combines comfort and style perfectly. They run very big, though. I usually wear an 11 and had to return my 11 for a 10. But with Zappos; easy returns that was no problem.

Excellent quality and very comfortable. My feet are on the long side of a size ten, but also on the narrow side of medium. The foot bed of these sandals is just the right length, but the rest of the shoe is a tad loose. I would have to wear with insoles, which would be awkward. If your feet are a little on the wide or fat side, these will be good for you. I liked these a lot, but they just didn't quite work for my longish, narrowish, size ten.

I just got my sandals and I love them. I took them out of the box and put them on my feet and they are absolutely comfortable plus, they look good.

When a shoe doesn't fit it's disappointing, but every foot is different. This is a very well made and great sandal, with my high arch the side strap hit at an odd spot and was uncomfortable. Wish they had worked, because I really liked them!

Returning these because when i walk the top of the toe opening rubs against the top of my big toe right where the nail meets the skin, which is annoying and based on the construction and leather firmness I don't think it is a problem that will go away even if i file down the edge. Other than that i love the style and comfort in every other way, quite unique, so it is unfortunate

I am another person who wished that these came in half sizes here. I am typically an 8 but these were crazy long in an 8. The 7 fit length-wise but was too snug around the ball of the feet for comfort. I returned them.

These are very comfortable shoes, but they do run large. I wear an 11, but the 11 in this shoe left at least half an inch of length in back and in front. I would have tried a 10.5 if it came in that size. I was able to wear them all day the first day with no discomfort.

I am crazy about these sandals; however, they are too long! I searched for these in a size smaller than the 6 which I usually wear but to no avail. So disappointed.

These are beautiful boots, but I find them to be a tad narrow. I have a bit of trouble getting them on, though once on, they are fine. I bought them in the grey oiled suede and they are darker than I had imagined. At any rate, I am keeping them because they aren't uncomfortable and they are good-looking. I only wish that they had half sizes.

After reading all the reviews I ordered a size 8 when I normally wear a 9. It was difficult to get my foot in, my arch is a bit high and although my foot fit on the sole the strap wasn't long enough. Didn t feel like much of an arch either. Loved the leather, wish it had fit better!

Not for high arches! I couldn't get my foot all the way into the top slide area. I sized down based on reviews and while the length was okay, no way could I wear these without the leather digging into the top of my foot.
