The upper part of this boot is really cute, but the lower part looks so cheap and glued together. It looks like a really nice leather in the picture but it's a strange plastic/nylon. Other reviews put arch support but there is none and there is also very little to no warm lining in the foot. The shaft of the boot is great, but the foot part is just silly. Why have such a cozy nice boot shaft and skimp on the foot; the part that gets the coldest and wettest?

Love these. I wear prescription orthotic insoles and with them in the shoes I wear an 8 1/2 in Sorel casual boots and a 9 in most other brands. I bought these in a 39 and they are just way too small with my insoles in. I'll be returning and getting the next size up though, because I love the look and function, and how easy they are to get on and off. Bonus--I have a weak ankle from flat feet and these easy-to-lace-up boots are a wonderful way to "brace" my ankle for added stability.

These are cozy! and a step up from the older version. Thick in the calf. Order a size larger than normal. I have an older version of these that are more like a duck boot and get frequent compliments.

Bravo! I ordered a pair of Pajar boots years ago and returned them because of the lack of good fit. Well I am happy to say they have worked on the fit and these fit great. The inside lining is very warm, too. Fashion - forward and cute boot. I do have to say that if you have a larger calf size these boots probably will not work for you despite the lace-up..

I ordered both these Pajar Grip Zips and Baffin's Coco boot to try out for my new winter boots. While the side zipper and lace-up gave these great fit and support on the ankle and leg, there seemed to be little to no insulation or support in the footbed. I also was a little put-off by the huge Pajar billboard logo on the side of each boot. The shaft of these are nice and tall, and they seem to be well-protected from water and snow. If you like a shoe with a thin sole, these might be a good choice for you!

I was super excited about the boots and even more so when they arrived. The design is fantastic. They are super warm without being excessively bulky (still big mind you, but that goes with the territory). You can just lace them up once for a good fit and use the zipper from then on out. Genius! Why don't more companies do this?! Sadly, for me, they just weren't a great fit because they are too narrow in the toe box (especially across the ball of the foot). Everything else fit great (maybe a little small...I'm an 8 and had to go up to the 39). So if you are a little narrow in the toes/ball of your foot, grab these! I think they'd be worth every penny in serious snow conditions.
