These are now my favorite jeans. Just enough stretch to be comfortable, but not enough that they fee baggy after a few wears. Love the trimming waist and front. Hoping they never stop selling these. I would suggest getting an inch or two smaller on the inseam, as mine were longer than what I normally get.

I love these jeans - they are cute, comfortable, and flattering. However, I'm majorly disappointed because after washing them only a few times (inside out, cold water, hang dry) the black color has faded a LOT. They look like they might be a year old or so. I would definitely not buy these again, at least in black.

The fit was cute but I didn't love the fabric. It didn't feel denim enough. But i LOVE this jean in the "Lived In" version of blue.

For the price, you cannot beat these classic, but hip, jeans! They are super skinny (almost like leggings) but really do shape (as their name states)!

These fit well. I wore them all day and they didn't get baggy in the seat nor did I have to continually pull them up. They felt tight in the lower leg as I assume skinny jeans should but I don't necessarily like that feel. I followed the reviews to select the size. I am 5'5" and weigh 130-135. I ordered a 28 and I think they fit like they should. If you are looking for a good fitting skinny jean these work.

Great jeans. Super comfortable. I have 4 pair of this same style (311) same size (31x32) and I find that they all fit a little different. This particular wash is not tight enough in the ankle, which is disappointing, but not so much that I want to return them. I will still wear them, just not rolled up with ankle boots as I would've preferred. Giving 4 stars for inconsistency in sizing and not skinny enough in ankle.

The first pair I got had no tags, the upper thighs, knees and waist were super creased and they were stretched out... they had been worn. And not just tried on and returned. WORN. However, I called Zappos and they issued an exchange and a $15 credit for inconvenience. When I got the new (with tags and no worn creases) they were perfectly fine. Slightly looser in the ankle than I would prefer, but I'll keep them. I have several other pairs of this same style (311) same size (31x32) and they all fit slightly different. When I luck up and get a pair that fit like I like, they're GREAT! Comfortable and slimming. Giving 4 stars for inconsistency in sizing and slightly looser in ankle that they type of skinny jeans I like.

These jeans are comfortable. They are relaxed enough in the waist with enough stretch that I don't feel like I am being cut in half when I sit down. Color is jet black. Not as tight in the ankle as I would have liked. I have some thighs and a mommy belly but from the knee down, I'm "skinny". I ordered a 31x32 (maybe a 12 or 14- not sure), the same size I have ordered in 3 different colors of this same style (311) this black pair make 4. They all fit pretty much the same. The pair of dark wash fit the best and are fitted perfect in the ankle, the medium wash are a little looser than the dark and the light are a little looser than the medium wash. Not really sure why every pair is a little different. The 32 length varies with color as well. Each pair is slightly different in length although they are all 32 length.

Very comfy, though they seem to run a bit large. I generally wear an 8/10, ordered these in a 30/32. Length was great, but I'd go with a 29 next time. They do stretch out a bit, and ordered too comfy, end up looking like mom jeans.

Ok here it goes! These Levi's 311 shaping skinny jeans that I got in the color black are extremely comfortable. Almost like wearing stretchy pants...no kidding. These pants are high waisted and you will have a better slimmer look if you have a little fat on your lower back or stomach that wants to spill over mid waisted or low cut type jeans. These jeans are perfect for getting rid of that problem! The thigh area is slimming visually, because my jeans are black, but the thigh area does not compress or suck in bulges like the top of the jeans will, but the comfort when sitting or standing is outstanding. True to size and true to length for sure.

I loved the look of these jeans, but they run a bit small. I wear a 31" x 32" in Levi's 311 Shaping Skinny. I ordered the same size in these and they were far too short and too tight. These are slimmer through the thighs which just won't work for me. They also run a bit short in length. The 32" looked more like a 30" length on me. I think they would look great on a shorter slimmer girl with slim hips.

Overall, these are good jeans. I have wider hips and skinny jeans can be tough to find. Typically, if I find a pair that fits in the thighs the waist is too large. That is not the case with these. I also really like wear the waist line falls. It wasn't too low or too high. I gave these 4 stars because I thought the calf region was a bit tight and because they stretch a bit more than I would like as the day wears on. Also, 32" was the longest available and they are a tad bit short (Iam 5'5") Some girls can pull this off, but not me. The jeans being tight in the calf area actually works great for the winter months when I wear lots of boots. All of that said, I did buy 2 pairs and wear them frequently.

I tried these based on the glowing reviews, and for the most part they've been pretty good. I feel like regular levis do a better job of shaping than these though - within 1 wash mine stretched out in all the places I'd like to shape, so they're less than flattering, but I can't flaw them for comfort at least. For reference I bought the 26, but they fit more like 27s or 28s now. My only big complaint is that these fade REAL FAST. I set my dark jeans when I get them and always cold wash with salt, and after less than 2 months these jeans are already grey, not black. My 2 year old standard levis have held their dye much better. To sum things up, get these if you want some nice stretchy jeans for everyday wear, but if you want some sleek black jeans that suck in all your wobbly bits, stick to the standard levis range.

I like the fit and feel of these jeans for the most part. They are a little loose in the waist -- as in, they seem to stretch out quicker than the rest of the pants. Not horrible, but something I noticed and doesn't occur in my other jeans. I'm between a size 14 and 16, 5'6" and 195 pounds, pear-shaped. Got a size 33 (30 inseam). The ankles are wider than I'd hoped (not as tight as the photos) but I roll them up one time to correct that.

The fit is pretty good on these jeans. Quality is good but I ordered another brand at the same time as these and decided I liked the Liverpool jeans best.

I like these, but because they are high waisted, they made my hips look big. The quality is excellent and they are super comfortable!

I ordered these because I had just bought a pair at the mall and they fit perfectly. Oddly, the new pair I ordered were too small. However, Zappos let me exchange them at no cost, which I really appreciated, and the next size up fits fine. I think these jeans are true to size. The larger pair is what I would expect to wear.

WRONG COLOR

I have another pair of the 311s in the same size and love them. These in Soft Black were much smaller.

the thighs and knees bunched up. not happy with the look.

I ordered the size based on my waist measurement. I was so surprised to put them on and see that there was at least 4 inches extra in the waist. I have larger thighs, so if I order my waist size will they even fit?

I'm 5'4", 130 pounds - more curvy than straight. 29 was too big. 28 was too small and as there's little give in the fabric - not comfortable. They're going back. 28.5 please! They are very cute.
