I would say I have owned about 20 pair of 623's over the last 10 yrs. The last pair I bought half of sole came lose after maybe two moths of easy wear. The brand workmanship is questionable, and I for the first time looking at other brands.

The New Balance MX623v3 was the first pair of New Balance shoes that I ever purchased. In the past I've tried other brands including: Nike, Adidas, Starter, Dr Scholls, and LA Gear. I have never been so dissatisfied with a pair of sneakers in my life. The fit of these shoes is huge. I wear a size 14W and these shoes look like clown shoes. They are noticeably longer and wider than all of my other shoes by different brands. They fit extremely loose until you plop an insole in them and then they are almost too tight. I have not had this fit issue with other brands. I am on my feet 12 hours a day at work. I need shoes that support my feet. These shoes offer zero support. They are uncomfortable and my feet felt tired, achy, and sore after a day of wearing them. I tried them multiple times at work, and found they made my feet hurt so much more than other brands. I won't be wearing them and I wasted almost $70 on these unwearable shoes which I cannot return because I wore them to work.

I've been wearing NB shoes for 20 years. This pair is the narrowest 4E I've ever owned, no matter the brand. They were too narrow and tight without even lacing them. Why would a NB 11.5 4E not be the same width no matter the model number????

I returned the shoe about and hr after they arrived. Soon as I saw the way it was made, could tell it was of lesser quality of ones made a few years ago. I'm still wearing those. They ran larger as well. Zappos, as always processed my return flawlessly. Great Customer Service

Ordered these on 9/28/18, probably received them 1st or 2nd week of October, today is 12/18/18 and they have completely fallen apart! GARBAGE!

Sole split with in weeks.

I have pushed this style in multiple colors over the past several year. It's been my go to sneaker. However, my last pair in charcoal had to be returned. After just a few weeks of light wear (I still had other pairs of this style in different colors), the stitching began to come undone on both shoes. Guess New Balance has decided quality is no longer important.

3rd pair that have defects. I thought the V3 would be fixed. Bad choice if you want a shoe that will last a year. All 3 tore the sides next to lacing band within 3 or 4 wears. NB has lost my biz.

Nice looking shoe...but it's not leather. The faux "leather" on this shoe looks convincing, but upon magnification, I can see the top plastic layer and the fuzz they compressed/bonded underneath. New Balance used to be synonymous with the biggest/best athletic shoe names in the industry (Nike, Adidas, Puma, etc)...but they obviously sold the name and the new owners are reaping the rewards with low-end/cheap products (regardless of what this will do to the brand's reputation). The fact they lied on the website about this shoe's materials is pretty bold...or stupid (I won't be buying any more of their products).

I am a womens 8wide and this shoe was a mens 7 4xwide and was so narrow i couldnt get my foot inside the shoe. Problem with the sizing of these sneakers

What has happened to New Balance? I've had these shoes for four months, and I wear them every third day. That's equivalent to 1 1/2 months of steady wear. At this point they are worn out, misshapen and worthless as walking shoes, and even less cosmetically. How the mighty have fallen!

Shoes disintegrated after a dozen wears as the body separated itself from the sole due to poor glue adhesives. Shoes displayed no visible signs of wear and looked new out-of-the-box. Contacted NB and they offered ten buck coupon to me if I would simply please waste another $ 75 towards a new pair which would likely also fall apart in six months. Have seen several other similar reviews on New Balance products. They will not stand behind their product. Buy Skechers!

These shoes were recommended 20 years ago due to my wide feet, and ive neen buying them ever since. Have them in every color!

Good all around fit and feel. The uppers held up well, compared to a lot of shoes I've worn.

These are the perfect sneakers for me. I just wish they were a little more durable - I need to order a new pair about every 10 months. But I love them!

This is the same shoe I've been buying for years. The fit and quality are good and I'll probably buy another pair when I eventually wear these out. I still have my nearly worn out pair and they're my favorite shoes.

Been Wearing this model for years very comfortable. Soles have a tendency to come unglued, but shoegoo fixes that.

I have been wearing this model (and its predecessor) for nearly 20 years for walking for exercise. Still my favorite.

I use these traditional “Dad shoes” to work in. They held up for over 2 years. I just ordered 2 more pairs.
