The Skechers Shape Ups are great shoes. They provide tremendous support and cushioning. I always have knee pain when I exercise. However, as soon as I lace up my Skechers I feel great and there is no pain. I love them.

Love these shoes!!! And love Zappos for their lenient policy regarding shoes. Think I tried - and returned - at least 7 other shoes before I found these. Why are these wonderful? Why did I reject all the others? Need to state up front that my right foot is very difficult to fit because of an injury which left me with long term damage to two toes. These Skechers are working great - I think because of the memory foam. Although I didn't immediately notice, the longer I kept them on, the more comfortable they became. After about an hour, I was totally sold! Have not regretted my decision at all. Am now able to walk 4 miles without difficulty.

These are perfect shoes for people with arthritic feet. I have arthritis in my toes and the rocker bottom of the shoes and all the cushioning meas that I can walk basically without any pain (or on my worst days very little pain).

I am very pleased with my shoes. I chose the lower sole height, as I felt it would be more versatile. I have a pair of the higher sole. The foot bed support is quite good, and they fit true to size. The only problem was 1 missing shoe lace. Zappos offered to replace the shoes, but I did not feel it worth the hassle of returning.

This shoe was recommended to me by my physical therapist because of problems I have with my feet. These are my second pair and I love them! Plus, the color combination is so cute!

I've tried other Skechers rocker bottom sneakers only to feel as if i've had too much wine the night before- way too tipsy for me and Skechers does NOT recommend them for running. Skechers rocker bottoms I ordered my regular size and 1/2 size up but in both instances too much heel slippage even power lacing didn't alleviate the problem so I continued my search and it is now over with these sneakers. Since I like to alternate my days on treadmill walking/running these fit the bill for me. 24mi./wk without any problems. I tend to hit the road/treadmill hard and found the cushioned mid foot support very nice and after working out with other brands I found me feet would burn and knees hurt. I ordered the black/pink in my regular size 8 and worked out with them right out of the box and am very pleased. Thank you Zappos for excellent customer service and offering these, please don't discontinue as I'll be buying more for sure!

There are two different kinds of Shape Up soles--1.3" and 2". The 1.3, as pictured above, is what I call the modified rocker-bottom. The other, 2", is the full shape-up configuration. I don't care for the full one, as it can lead to lack of balance and over estimation of benefit. I find the MODIFIED version to be MUCH more comfortable and safer. It lives up to the idea of equalizing pressure on your foot throughout the front-middle-back areas; hence alleviating plantar fasciaitis and (for me) blisters on the forward part of my foot. The only complaint I might have is that the mesh is not porous enough. My feet heat up and if not vented, will swell. The VERY FIRST LIV's had a porous mesh that allowed sand to some through... These have two layers, so that cuts the amount of venting commensurately. Even so, they vent pretty well. I wish Skechers would stick to this model instead of constantly jumping around. This model has only just now come back...

I was so excited to get these. I am normally a solid 9, and after reading reviews, I ordered a 9½ which fit perfectly. I am overweight and looking for good sneakers that will help prevent blisters on the balls of my feet in Disney World (I have been there twice and got blisters there the last two times we went). I wore these around the house for a couple of days and the seaming at the front of the shoe rubbed my pinky toe wrong. The seaming at the top of the laces rubbed the top of my foot as well. I returned them. I am really disappointed because I think these would have helped and they were very comfortable otherwise.

I did not like the shape ups. It was great for my heel, reason for purchase but the arch support was too week, and the inners could not be removed to insert my arch support.

I did not buy these at Zappos, my go-to shoe store, trying to take advantage of a bargain, against my better judgment. A few years ago, when Shapeups were first marketed, they ran a little small, but were very supportive and roomy in the toes. These were two sizes too small. I knew to order up with this brand and considered ordering an 11, but ordered a 10, which used to fit in Skechers. This size 10 was so pinched in the toe box that I couldn't even force them on my feet. Another size larger would not have solved that problem so I returned them for a refund. By the way, my feet are narrow, so I usually can squeeze my toes in. Skechers brand has become increasingly unreliable for fit and comfort, more noticably so since they are made in China. This pair even looked flimsy and cheap. Makes me sad, as I looked to Skechers for a comfortable alternative for my problem feet. I will look to other brands for comfort. Maybe karma is punishing me for not going to Zappos!
