This is my second pair of Rieker (first I loved). I did a lot of research before purchasing this shoe and even bought it in two sizes and returned one. It is so comfortable (as someone with foot and fit issues) and can be worn right out of the box. It's also cute and easy on and off. I like everything about the shoe *except* one huge flaw. It does not stand up to even the lightest SoCal rain. It does not rain very much at all where I live, and I wore it (with medium thick SmartWool socks) during one day of rain, and my toes were not just damp but soaked. While I don't expect these to be waterproof, these were only exposed to the East Coast wet equivalent of a modest puddle, and yet on both sides my toes were soaked through immediately. Even porous sneakers don't do that. Luckily it does not rain here that often. Unluckily, these are exactly the kinds of shoes I'd like to be able to reach for the 3 days of the year that we get 1/8" of rain...but I won't.

Excellent support of arch. Comfortable to wear all day long: I am 60 and wear them about 10 hours a day. USA size is 8-8.5 Relieves plantar fasciitis. My Dr. said its a good shoe for support. On my feet most of the day, doing stairs, etc and on tile, cement. They are fine with my suit.

The coloring is applied too roughly for the cranberry color. Looks a mess.

I was so looking forward to another Rieker 'hit' and instead this was a disappointing 'miss'. The shoe is beautiful but the sizing is off it felt narrow and tight to the point my left foot hurt as I tried to walk. The top of the shoe also felt too loose. Sadly, I am planning to return these and hope the next pair will put me back on the 'hit' cycle again.

I just finished polishing these black shoes and they look so good! These were my primary work shoes for over a year, felt comfortable from day one and look very nice for a conservative business look. They have worn very well, have lasted much longer than I would have expected with almost daily wear, especially because the leather feels thin and soft. I did not generally wear them in the rain because although mine did not let water in, I could feel the cold of the water through the leather. I would buy these again, definitely.

I loved this so much I had to get both colors. It is perfectly comfortable right out of the box. I am able to walk long distances without issue. I LOVE the style as well.

This a second pair of shoes I have bought this season from Zapoos. Several years ago, I still could find them in the store at our local mall, I did it twice; second time though, I had to order them through the same store, because these shoes were no longer on their shelves. Then, the store had closed - went out of the business or moved..... So, I am very thankful to Zappos for selling this kind of wonderful foot ware! The shoes I have purchased recently (black Rieker 41730) are very comfortable. I could put them on right from the box. They are light, soft , and , in the same time, have a great arch support. I am thinking of maybe buying another pair in burgundy. I also like (and this is a compliment to Reiker) that the decor is changing a little bit every year, but the stile and sole and comfort are stable. Would be good if Zapoos would sell more variety of soft long boots with the same sole like these shoes have. I recommend Riekers to everyone who is interested in good shoes. Now, I will tell everyone where to get them. Thank you Zapoos!.

The shoes are very comfortable although I think they are a tiny bit short. I have two other pairs of Rieker boots so I ordered the same size. That being said, I would order again. I have arthritis in my feet and this is a brand I can wear without pain. These shoes are comfortable right out of the box.and Zappos is a great company to order from.

As comfortable as slippers but with shoe support. I bet I could walk miles in these. The color ( Córdoba) is lovely, not bright but not dull.

The fit was just right. I love all Rieker shoes and the boots that I bought previously. I will always buy Rieker, they are so comfortable! and stylish!

Excellent support, usually I take a size smaller in Rieker shoes but this was right on. Very cute in the black, ordered one in each color to purchase. However the maroon was kinda old lady looking.

Soft leather, comfortable and stylish shoes. Feels true to size.

Wonderful fit; feels like walking in slippers. Great shoes made well for comfort!

I already have this particular Rieker Bootie in "beige" and like them a lot, very comfortable, great for walking in the city (NYC) which I do a lot. Decided to get them in black also and I am very happy that I did. I did get them in size 8 even though I am normally a size 8 1/2, perfect fit.

I wanted these shoes so much but they just didn’t work for me. The color is perfect and that style is so classy. I tried the 39 which was just a tad too small and the 40 which gapped on the sides and slipped in the heel. I wore them both around the house for a week and decided they just wouldn’t work. Thanks to Zappos for being a great company and being patient with me.

This shoe is very comfortable. I have a wide forefoot and they are perfect. Look great with jeans and for dress pants..I love the comfort so much, I am going to buy a pair in black.

I purchased the black and love the color and style. They are extremely comfortable and cute. I had an arthritis operation on my right toes and these shoes are sooo comfortable. I also have the Reiker booties with the bottons on the side, also very cute and comfy??

I ordered these shoes because I'd just bought a pair of Riekers at a shoe store & loved them. I came straight home to order another style online. These shoes did not disappoint! They're the most comfortable shoes you'll ever wear!

I am perplexed. I have two pairs of Riekers, size 41/2 (euro size 37). I have had them for years and they fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I bought this Rieker shoe in size 37 and it was too wide. I exchanged it for size 36 and it was too small. I love the shoe if only it fit. Rieker makes excellent shoes and this shoe is probably true to size for a size 6 wearer. it's too small for me. I probably should try the 61/2 again as I think the pair sent to me were stretched out.

Like every other pair of Reikers I've purchased, these were a perfect fit right out of the box. (I wear a US 10 Med, and I buy Reiker 42.) I purchased this pair to replace some from two years ago that were worn-out... they're just what I was looking for!

loved the shoe but it was too similar to another one I have.

Rieker shoes are hard to beat, and this pair is fantastic. Looks great with dressed down or slightly dressy pants or jeans or leggings. That Rieker comfort and support that I have come to expect is solidly here. Definitely recommend these.

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. I normally wear flats but needed a small heal. I had no back pain or leg cramps after wearing the shoes for 4 hours. I'll be looking at more Rieker shoes in the future.

As always, Rieker delivers. Their shoes are true to size and need very little break in time. They are comfortable and attractive as well. I got these shoes for a holiday trip to the states. I have very high arched feet and used an arch support in a similar pair. There was plenty of room without changing the way they fit. Rieker is one of my favorite brands.

I really like these shoes. I have a large foot and these shoes make my feet look much smaller, very slender. Very stylish for work or weekend. I have other Riekers and only wish is a little more cushioning under balls of feet.
