I have these shoes in black and adore them. I credit them with helping my coworker to stop underestimating me - those are fabulous shoes, she murmured, looking up at me her eyes suddenly widened. Of course, I ordered them in brown. They are gorgeous but they fell apart the first or second time I wore them. Tragic. Zappos credited my account (hurrah!) but it was still a huge disappointment; further, Zappos does not ship to the country that I am in (Zappos, please ship internationally!) Chances are, your Pikolinos will wear like my first pair (which have worn well for a year) instead of my second. I recommend this model in general but do watch the soles.

Sole has fallen off both of my shoes and have only worn them about 6 times. Also, have stretched so much that I cannot wear them as this point. I have pictures of them but do not see a way to attach the pictures.

Shoes were comfortable right out of the box. Heel was a little loose, but I typically find heels to be loose. I bought these for every day wear - running errands, going to the store, that sort of thing. On the fourth wearing the soles self destructed, coming apart in large chunks. I have returned the shoes. Very disappointing - for this kind of money you expect decent quality.

I bought these shoes a year ago and liked them a lot, they looked nice and fit well. In the spring saw that there was not a lot of wear to the soles so I put them away thinking that I would get another year of use but the first time I wore them this fall the soles completely fell off the shoes at the stitch line. Whatever material they use breaks down badly over relatively short period of time. Unfortunate but would think twice before buying this brand again.

SAVE YOUR MONEY. DO NOT BUYT THIS SHOE. These are a gorgeous shoe. Comfy but a bit loose (they can slip off when walking), which is why I have not been wearing them as much. Really, I just wore them for "special" work situations. I bought them in 2015 (it is now 2017), and in total I have probably only worn them 3-4 times. Today would've been the 4th or 5th. Boy, was I surprised that the bottom of my right shoe literally fell apart!! I was absolutely stunned. I inspected the left shoe and it has evidence of starting to fall apart, too! Huge crack in the sole. I love this brand, and the price was steep for my non-profit wages. I was expecting for this shoe to last for many many more years to come. The design and construction of this issue is really shoddy. The shoe looks good and feels good, however, it does not last. Very disappointed!

The sole/heel fell apart within the first 3 months. I had to pay $40 to have them re-soled. They have held up in that area since then. Inside that same first 3 months, the center seam of the right shoe came totally apart (another $30 repair). Shoe repair did his best to fix it. He said, while the shoe looks nice, it's a really poor design because the most vulnerable part, where the leather splits, is the most exposed to stress. 9 months into having these shoes, the leather has stretched so badly that I have to wear them with socks to keep them on my feet. When I first got them, I used a little footie nylon hose. For this kind of money, I should not have had to pay $70 in the first three months to stitch the things back together. Really disappointing.

I loved the look of this shoe and it fit fairly well, true to size but with mild great toe rubbing. However, the noise from the leather with each step was too much. I had to return them for a refund.

The rubber sole fell off mine, too, but I love these shoes so much, I Gorilla glued it back on.

Of all Pikolinos I have these were a disappointment. It became loose all over in a few weeks. I always get Pikolinos size 42 and they fit perfectly, these became way too big... really impossible to use. I am amazed at all the good reviews, maybe they were done in the first weeks of use, before they fell apart.

Gorgeous shoe and super comfy. But fell apart within a year of use. surprising. Pikolino usually has excellent quality. The sole fell off.

I lusted after these for the entire winter. I just loved the way they looked online. I finally bought a pair -- and knew within 10 minutes that I would have to return them. All other issues aside, they squeak. Loud! Constantly! Really, unwearable. Not willing to take a chance that the noise would die down. Beyond the noise, I also wasn't wild about the feel. People who say they are comfortable are probably reacting to the cushiony feel, which is, indeed, great. But I felt like I could feel the structure of the shoe beneath my feet -- i.e., soft in some places but rigid in others. I found that very irritating. And sizing seems to be an issue. I usually wear either an 8 or and 8.5. I went with the 8.5-9.0 size, but the shoes still felt slightly short -- and shorter than other European-sized shoes I have in that size. One more negative was that the heel design did not seem sturdy. I suspect it would take too much walking on city streets for the heel to end up wrecked, and I do a lot of city walking. Finally, I loved the design from various angles, but the stub point of the toe bothered me in real life. Wasn't as wild about the style -- at least on me -- as I was with it online. Happy to have returned them (yeah Zappos!), and to know I can stop lusting after them.

I am really torn about these shoes. They are SO comfortable and super cute in a very unique way. Typically Pikolinos makes a high quality shoe so I don't mind paying the high price. Unfortunately, after having worn them only 4 times, the sole of one of the shoes has detached! I love them so much that I am going to try to have them re-soled but it's insane that Pikolinos has not taken care of an issue that seems to be VERY common. I'll assume for now that this is a one-off-- I really hope their quality hasn't degraded.

I love these shoes. Very comfortable. Sadly, I have to return them after wearing only 4 times because the soles cracked and peeled back! Very weird but almost tripped because the rubber peeled all the way back.

I wear a 9 and this shoe comes in 8.5-9.0 sizing but it was too small. I ordered the 9.5-10.0 size and it was too big. I was very disappointed because the shoe is beautiful but it doesn't fit my foot.

I love the shoes! Their professional and also groovy at the same time. I get tons of compliments when I wear them. They're really comfortable and easy to stand in for long periods of time. I've also run for the bus successfully in these shoes.

I love these so much! They are like wearing slippers, and have an unusual flair that brings a lot of compliments. Look great with cropped pants. Also I think the leather is better quality than the other Pikolinos pumps I ordered (and sent back).

These shoes are very comfortable, and stylish. This is the second pair of Pikolino brand that I have got (different styles), and like the first Pair, this style is super comfy. I have wide feet, size 8, with bunions. I am a nurse practitioner, and have to work 10 hour shifts on feet and still look professional! These shoes are my saviors. They are very comfortable, have great toe room and still chic and fancy! There is great support for arch...and Zappos, I can't thank you enough. Great customer service, fast delivery, always reliable and excellent!

These are all kinds of good. They feel like slippers on but still look very feminine and stylish. Exceptionally comfortable. The leather is very supple.

THIS IS A STUNNING SHOE, ALWAYS FROM PIKOLINOS. VERY COMFORTABLE, CLASSY. BUY IT YOU WILL LOVE IT.

I could not be happier with these shoes. They look great with pants or a skirt, feel amazing on my feet and fit like a glove. I'm so impressed.

These shoes are beautiful. The leather is really soft and the insole is nicely padded. Unfortunately they don't fit! I'd say they are a full size larger than marked. I wear a true size 5 and these have a good 1/2 inch of space left over in the back. They just flop on and off when I walk in them. I'm so sad, I really wanted these to fit. :-(

GORGEOUS SHOES! The leather is soft and rich,the two-tone brown is lovely. Most important - the comfort of this pair cannot be overstated. My feet feel wonderful while I wear them. I rarely bother to write a review and feel these shoes warrant one. Worth their price. I am happy to have found a new shoe brand, too.

Very stylish shoe, very comfortable to wear all day, gets lots of compliments, runs a bit large in the heel.

These are the most beautiful, comfortable shoes that I have ever owned. They are soft as a glove, and beautifully made. They are very sophisticated, and European looking. I never wear heels, but these are great. I am looking for more styles. Yes, they are expensive, but I know that I will wear them forever.
