This is the perfect ballet shoe and I prefer the Camille because it has a wee bit of a heel. This is a tough shoe to size for sure just like all the prior reviews state. I'm usually a Women's Size 10 Medium almost every time. I've found that I can go with a 9.5 C or a 11 Narrow if it's a pair of shoes I really want and they don't have my size. I'm a Dansko 40 and sometimes a 41 in their more narrow shoes. In European sizes, I'm almost always a 41. So, with all that said, I ended up in a Repetto 41 in the Black Nappa. I did try the 42 and the 40.5. The 42 was considerably too big and the 40.5 was a smidge small. Interestingly, when Zappos didn't have my size I tried the Repetto Patent Leather Camilles as well. The patent leather Camille shoes are sized smaller in my opinion. The patent leather Camille seemed shorter in the 41 whereas the Nappa Leather Camille in a 41 is perfect if not a bit on the larger side. I have a medium to wide-ish across the toes foot. This Size 10 girl fit well into the Repetto Nappa Leather 41. It's a gorgeous shoe and worth the splurge. Also, the Nappa Leather is quite soft, so I think it might stretch a little if you're between sizes.

I've struggled for years to find a dressier shoe that I can actually walk in. This is the perfect mix between a ballet flat and a heel. The block heel not only dresses up the shoe but makes it more comfortable. I love them for travel because they don't take up much space in a carry-on bag, look perfect with jeans or a dress, and I've walked miles in them with no pain or discomfort. These are workhorses in my wardrobe and are therefore well worth the price, but definitely size up. I typically wear a US size 7 and bought these in a 38.5.

I wear a 10.5 shoe mostly and sometimes an 11. I ordered the 42 which is supposed to be an 11.5. It's way too small. I would order a 43 if they had them.

Overall, the Camille is a lovely shoe. They feel like a slipper when wearing them. I can stand for periods of time or take a walk with these on. The only fault that I have found with these is that they do not last long. They wear out very fast. The soles are thin and where the leather in the front meets the sole tends to wear out fast. These shoes only lasted me a few months before having holes in them. Great shoe otherwise. I’d buy another pair, but only if I were to take them to a cobbler for reinforcement.

I am usually a size 6 and ordered up a size (37) based on reviews. That ended up being too big. A beautifully made shoe though.

Very comfortable and great for dressing up or down - but they run VERY small. I am an 8 (EU 38) and returned that and now am returning a 8 1/2. I am going to try the 9...

These shoes are so dainty, yet sturdy. I bought an entire size larger. I'm a 38 and went up to a 39 and their perfect.

It's a good shoe but the last is very thin and needs additional comfort support. Also, the actual sizes vary so that most times I wear a size 41 = US9 but other times even that size is a big snug. For the price they should have better foot bed and arch support. Apart from that they are light and easy to wear and make a nice appearance.

Very soft leather, but the shoe runs short. The heel is attached to the shoe and there is distinct seam - the casing of the shoe does not feel stable with the heel. I wear a size 9 and tend to run wide, this shoe was an awkward fit for me in both size 9 and 9.5.

Having a lot of trouble with sizing on these. I've owned them in the past and unfortunately the design seems to have changed for the worse. They toe are is now very low cut and I believe it's affection the sizing. Returning my second attempt.

I've owned these before in a 38.5 -- they lasted several years, but one day they just become severely uncomfortable. I do love them I ordered a replacement, this time in patent leather. I found them to feel about 1.5 sizes too small. I'm returning my usual size 38.5 (8 US) and I'll probably try a 39.5 or 40 -- which seems crazy. Grateful, though for zaps' great shipping and returns policy.

Love the Camille style-- more unique than the ubiquitous ballet flat. These are very versatile. The leather is very thin, as in a true ballet shoe. The soles are also thin. I had a cobbler put a thin layer of rubber on mine to protect the soles and that also adds just a bit of cushion. These are comfortable but not great for walking. They run a little small. I usually wear a 38.5 or a 39 but took a 39.5 in the Repetto Camille, nappa leather. These are delicate shoes and will easily stretch to conform to the foot -- or be damaged if not treated gently.

These are SUCH cute shoes and I so wanted to keep them! But, in the patent leather, I don't think they would stretch enough to accommodate these old feet....so back they went!

Third try and I STRUCK OUT! These are just not constructed in the same way that there were in the past. Very (too) low cut in the toe, which leave little room for your actual foot. I wear a US 8. I tired the 38.5 and 39 which were both much too small, and the 39.5 which were too big. Sad the don't work for me any longer.

I ran to meet the UPS man to get these shoes. They have a lovely little matte black box, and they come with a shoe bag. Alas, they are too small, and there just isn't "enough shoe". I normally wear a 40 or 41 in Euro sizes, so I was confident with this order of 40.5. There is way too much toe cleavage for my taste, and the sole is short and narrow. I think I could stretch them and make them fit my foot, but there is not enough leather to cover the way I prefer. Back they go... sadly.

I wanted to love this shoe. I had been looking for a classic ballerina with a heel and when I saw this I thought it was perfect. I bought three sizes and my usual size 6 was so small that I could barely get my foot inside. I then went up half and a whole size but I just couldn't get them to fit right. Either too tight, too loose and it rubbed on my ankle in the wrong spot. I even tried them with insoles and heel risers but nothing worked. Sad I had to return.

These shoes look cuter online. There is not enough shoe as someone else said - the leather over the toe area is like a child's shoe - a little weird. Not sophisticated IMO. the Paname is much nicer though patent only.

Zappos FAIL! I paid $400 for a pair of Repetto shoes and Zappos sent me a USED pair! Even the box looked like they found it in a trash bin. This is the 2nd time this has happened. I'll never buy luxury shoes at Zappos again. This is not the level of customer service that maintains luxury good customers.

Extremely cute shoe but way too small! I'm a size 9.5 or 10 US, usually a 40.5 or 41 in European size. Even the 42 in this shoe didn't fit!! The sizing in this shoe is so off it ought to be criminalized. Get honest with your shoe sizes please, Repetto....
