These shoes are incredibly comfortable. The padded footbed is wonderful and they're perfect for smaller ankles with a normal to wider set footbed. I'm not slipping all over the place and my toes aren't pinched at all. I've had problems with my knees for the last few months and I've painstakingly tried to find a pair of shoes that are comfortable enough for everyday wear without wearing granny shoes as I'm only in my 20s. These are PERFECT. They're great with jeans, khakis, skirts, and dresses and I've received numerous compliments! Not being able to wear wedges has been tough, but these are my new go to. Best part is that I would love these regardless of whether or not my knees were hurt. Got the tan and the black. Way to go Clarks! Seriously can't say enough nice things. Get these!

Horribly uncomfortable. Maybe it's because I spend the entire year in Birkenstocks and Nikes? Switching to a flat boot with no support killed my arches. Couldn't even get out the door without my feet feeling this searing pain. They look great but not worth the discomfort.

Liked the style but they slipped in the heel. Also not enough arch support for me.

Love these shoes! Comfy and easy to walk all day in. Felt a little loose in the beginning (my heel kept popping up) but eventually eased into it and now have no issues.

I love these shoes, I wish I could wear them with everything.... the only down side that has been SUPER ANNOYING is the right shoe seems to be a tad bit bigger so my foot slips off. I have to wear thick socks so it won’t happen.

I kept this boot. Looked good. Wide was true to size, got an 8 but probably 7.5 would have been fine. Since they are boots they will work with slightly thicker socks. They are comfortable right out of the box but don’t really have arch support or padding in the footbed. Overall a very good boot.

I ordered a size 9W in the cognac color. I typically wear a 9W in sneakers & boots, but these ran extremely narrow. The 9W felt like a narrower 9M in my opinion, and that made them unwearable, especially if I wanted to wear any kind of socks other than slip-socks. Super disappointing, because they are such cute boots and a beautiful color, and I have been searching for a good pair of genuine leather ankle/chelsea boots in this color. The footbed was nicely padded but didn't have much arch support, and it was not removable (99% of the time, I swap out shoes' standard insoles for a high-support set like SuperFeet or Currex). Sadly, I returned these boots.

These were weirdly too long for an 8.5. They were about a half an inch longer than all my other 8.5! The height of the boot shaft was perfect for someone who’s short. There is very little arch support and the bottoms are a bit slick. However, if they were the right length I would have kept them.

These are marked as a wide width but this is false. This is not a wide shoe-perhaps it's a C width? But it's not a D width and so it's not a true wide width. I wear a 10 D and Zappos said this matched my search for a 10 D, but alas they are too tight for comfort. The shoe is marked with a W but again- Wide means D width, and this isn't that! These look great and would have been exactly what I was looking for in a boot if they were really wide. There's no arch support in these boots either, FYI.

I loved the way that these boots looked and they felt ok at first. Like other reviewers I found that there was little arch support, but they seemed to fit otherwise on my average/narrower feet. I tried to wear them with low socks like my other booties, but somehow it was too rough on my skin on my ankles so I switched to regular socks. The real problem was that the right boot indents inward toward the outside of my ankle and rubbed all day. There was no blister, but it was sore and I’m hesitant to wear them again. I’m hoping I can reshape the boot somehow when I’m not wearing it, but I am disappointed. I expected more from Clarks.

These boots did not fit my 9W (D width) feet. I ordered a 9.5W and I can get my foot into the boot, but it is terribly tight. Sad to send them back because they look very cute when not on!

I have worn these boots for the last 4 years -- they have been a great investment. Only now are the soles starting to look worn and like I might need to replace them. The uppers have aged well, though I probably should have polished them every so often. They are a perfect fall/spring shoe, and even good in the rain (not water proof, but a little water resistant). They are comfortable to walk in (I have put literally hundreds of miles on them walking around NYC, etc), and I can wear them daily. I get lots of compliments and feel like they add perfectly to my outfits!

I love the shape and look of these - very minimalist and chic, and go with literally everything. They feel great straight out of the box and also don’t have the super high ankle area that some Chelsea boots have. I personally find that the lower cut is much more flattering. I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

These are exactly what I wanted. They are perfect. I couldn't have designed a better boot. They go with everything in my all black New Yorker wardrobe. I'll be wearing them everyday!

Not a fan of the leather..looked plastic. Maybe too much sheen for me.

This is a good everyday boot. Comfortable and very easy to put on and take off. I'd been struggling to find a bootie with a small shaft and this one fit the bill. Looks good with jeans or tights and a dress.

I'm a 9.5 medium, occasionally 10. These fit fine in 9.5 though my heels slipped. I wasn't a fan of the leather, it looked cheap and like it wouldn't wear well. Not for me.
