I think it's a shame I bought a costly pair of shoes and still had to go out and buy a pair of Dr. Scholls cushion insoles to make the comfort complete. Come On Earth Shoes - you can do better with the cushion and arch support. You proved it with your older model Mary Janes.

Kalso changed the fit of the Harvest shoe. Over many years, I've worn three previous pairs of the Harvest and many other styles of Kalso Earth shoes. They all fit comfortably out of the box. I can't easily identify what has changed. This current pair feels a bit larger. Whatever was changed, I hope they go back to the previous version.

These are wonderful shoes for helping maintain good leg and foot muscles! The negative heel gently lengthens the muscles along the back of your leg. This is a very good thing, because most shoes (which have heels of at least 1") allow those back-of-leg muscles to grow shorter over time. Wearing the Earth Shoes by Kalso helps to counter balance, and therefore keep muscles toned and flexible. Sizing: often I wear a 40 (for example in Danskos, which are meant to fit slightly loosely). But after trying both a 39 and a 40 in the Earth Shoe, the smaller size 39 felt best to me. I am ordering them in both of the available colors. I highly recommended these!

I am a teacher, and therefore on my feet all day on hard surfaces. I received these and wore them all day out of the box with no joint soreness in the evening. Thumbs up! The negative heel cup feels deep so is an adjustment from other shoes, and the cloth heel back is not as firm as leather, but also doesn't rub. It is quite cold here so I wore heavy socks; without them these might be a little loose (I wear an 8M, bought an 8, and they fit well). I bought these to be a winter shoe so the fit is fine for me. In fact, I have a very high instep, and these shoes (even with socks) are not too tight. That's a rare experience for me. There will be times -- rainy or snowy days -- that wearing them might cause risk of getting the knit heel wet and enduring dampness for awhile, but overall I'm very happy with this purchase. The Brindle Brown is a nice classic color, the shoes are stylish for a style with wide toe box, and the footbed is very comfortable.

These shoes are amazing! And comfortable. And pretty. And they'll never wear out! I have a pair of these that are many years old (their signature Rosso Red, do they still make that color?-They should!). I put the mink oil to them, buff with a brush and I'm good to go. They're never going to wear out, which is a good thing, since I love them so! They have the coolest little elastic-like, convertible heel, you can slide into them and step on the heel (will not bother your foot) and wear like a slide/clog or you can wear with the elastic up on the heel and have a more snug-fitting shoe. The medium width is plenty wide if you have wide feet, the toe box is ultra roomy and they just feel good on your feet! I wear them for house slippers as well as out in the 'real world' - I absolutely cannot recommend them enough!

First, Zappos is, as always great! Kalso earth shoes are pretty much the only shoes I wear because I have a loss of fat in the ball of my foot which is very painful. The negative heel takes the pressure off that part of my foot. Even foot dr.s can't help. Basically, you either love the Kalso style or you don't. These are pretty typical but ran a little short. I normally wear an 8.5-9. In these I am having to return for a 9. All Kalso shoes run wide and deep. I have a very narrow flat foot. To make them work I have to wear thick socks and/or an ugg insole. These are pretty cute for Kalsos which aren't typically the cutest of shoes but I wear them because I don't like pain.

Nice shoe. However, the toe box was roomy, I found it ran a little long in length and was loose on the heel. I have issues with arch support and this arch did not hit me in quite the right place.

I love this shoe. Very comfortable. Love the neg. heel as it's a relief to my spinal problems & knee pain. I wish that Earth, Kalsko would go back to it's roots and make more shoes -with quality materials, and design for foot & body health.

Love this shoe. However, had to order 1/2 size down as it ran large.

I really wanted to love this shoe... it looked like exactly what I needed, and was very cute in-person. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. The top part (that you slide your foot under to put the shoe on) was very stiff and made it difficult for me to get on, it kind of scraped against my foot when I tried to put it on. The toebox seemed a bit tight (though I've been wearing sneakers for the last 9 months due to plantar fasciitis, so that may just be my perception). The support wasn't what I hoped for. I own a very old (10+ years) pair of Earth Kalso sandals that I love, but these shoes didn't seem anywhere near as comfortable from first impressions. I wear between a 7 or 7.5 (depending on the shoe), and read that these are about 1/2 size too big for most people, so I ordered the 7. They may have been a bit small... I couldn't get my foot in while keeping the heel down (i.e. converting to a clog/slip-on) for example. The shoe did seem to fit OK once I got my foot in (with the heel up, as a regular shoe)... but wasn't as comfortable as I had hoped. Unfortunately, it's too expensive to keep if it's not going to be comfortable, so I'm going to return it. Thanks.
