Overall, decent boots. Took about a week to break in and feel comfortable around my ankles but otherwise they felt good right out of the box. Only issue I recently found out is that the soles aren't the best for winter work, if you've been outside and walk into a warm garage/house you're gonna slip & slid until the soles warm up.

Danner, simply the best fitting boot straight from the box you'll ever own. I've owned Danner boots since my first pair back in 1985 and have bought several different styes for Hunting and work. The waterproof styles are excellent and I get long wear out of them with dry feet. The Danner Crafter 6" boot I just purchased fits great and I use It to stabilize my ankle while I recover from a severe sprain. Worth every dime you pay for them.

I had never heard or owned a pair of Danner Boots. I can tell you these boots fit perfectly, feel great and my feet feel great even after a 12 hr work day. For new shoes. 3 days and the are broke in. Awesome.

Worn for a few weeks now. Still waterproof. Not the thickest sole on a work boot, but so far traction has not been a problem. Have a hard time finding a lot of options for non-safety toe work boots, but these seem like they will hold up decently for rough carpentry work in Michigan during the wet spring.

Bought these boots about a year ago. I work on a construction site everyday. These boots have taken a beating and they still fit and feel like they are brand new. They have maintained their waterproofness throughout winter and rainy spring and summer. I have plantar factitious, and these are without a doubt the most comfortable shoes I own. I wear a 10.5 and that's what I ordered, and they fit perfect! I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. I definitely plan on buying again, if and when they finally wear out! And also, as usual, Zappos' customer service and shipping is AWESOME!

They felt good, even up the leg, but the insole has this ridge that digs into the sides of my heels. I might have kept them and found a replacement insole, but I didn't have time. Need something that works right out of the box, and these didn't.

I REALLY wanted to love and keep these boots!! I am not sure if I got a fluke, but the pair I received had the dreaded "croak of a toad" in the sole when walking. It's a horrid sound that should not be there. I could tell someone else had tried the boots on and likely experienced the same thing and returned them. Otherwise, these boots are comfy and provide good support. I'm tempted to order from another dealer or Danner directly to try another pair, but how do I know if this noise will not develop in the boot over time?!?
