I'd been wearing Orthaheel flip flops for many years, when they were purchased by Vionic. Before I purchased the Vionic version, I went on their website & they posted their version of the flip flop was exactly the same. That is an outright lie. I have extreme foot issues & as soon as I placed these flip flops on my feet, it was obvious they are NOT the same. They are a different material & the first time I wore them, I got blisters where the strap is. I've not worn them since. I purchased all the versions of the original Orthaheel, that I could find & someday soon, will run out. Has anyone found another flip flop that was as good or close to as good, as the original Orthaheel. I know others have this same issue, as I've seen reviews posted. Thanks

I developed plantar fasciitis this past month. MY doctor said I needed to do various exercises and to stop walking around barefoot or in sandals. For me, that's a tough one. I walk around the house barefoot all year long and wear sandals everywhere else. So while doing a little research on the web, I came across a few sites reviewing and rating sandals that specifically address this issue. There's not a lot of them out there, but I did find these and a few others. I ordered all of them thru Zappos and just got them in today. I tried them all on for a few minutes and immediately fell in love with these. They fit like a glove and my arch was immediately relaxed. I have a somewhat wide foot (prob E or EE) and these are a little on the narrow side (only available in M), but because they are so comfortable, I'm going to keep them! I tried the Vionic Wave and although they appear to be identical to the Tide, these just feel nicer. I'm looking forward to wearing these all the time. I'm curious to see how long they last with my use. I also tried the Olukai Hokua and although they are wider and a little more stylish, for me, they don't quite have the maximum support and the glove-like feel that these do.

Bought these for hubby for his birthday. He wears a 10.5 and the 11 fit perfectly. He always buys the $1.99 flip flops and complains about sore feet and knees. I have been telling him about vionics for years as I have a pair. Too cheap to invest in a good set of sandals I guess. Try’s them on and can’t believe how much better his feet feel. He has a high arch and the shoe supports that fabulously. Heading off to a USVI vacation soon so time will tell. Keep in mind you may have to wear these for a few days to stretch your fascia of your feet so they may feel weird at first. I go through this every spring for two days. As we get past 50 things hurt more so investment in good footwear is important. So take the gamble here. You can always send them back for free!

Perfect out of the box. No break in period. No blisters and no pain. I will not stray away from these again. Wish They were tougher and would last longer. I am very tough on sandals and I realize they are not meant to last more than 6 months of heavy use. My back pain is gone away with proper arch and support. I never knew my sandals were causing so much pain. Now I don't think about it too much. These sandals are the best. I never have to guess if they are the correct size. Im a 12 and they always fit.

Purchased one pair of Vionic Tide sandals 7/7/2015. I work at home and wear these sandals daily, or almost every day, for some 5+ months each year April-September. Now after 3 years of wear, mostly around the house, these sandals are showing signs of wear, mostly in the inner foot-sole pad. But pretty much this sandal is as 'solid' and comfortable as the day I bought it. I wear doctor prescribed ortho-liners in my shoes, and the (medium) arch support in these sandals come close to that fit. (It may not for others.)

A bit clunky for a flip-flop, thought they would be more streamline. All my weight seems to be carried in my arches, which actually tends to make my foot turn out (pronation) which these are spose to prevent. I wouldn't recommend if you have a medium to low arch. Expensive for a flip-flop made in China!

The strap is just too loose. Zappos is still awesome! The support felt good,but I didn't really get to walk in them. Olukai Ohana has a similar feeling footbed.

Flat feet heaven! This flip flop is great for those with no arch on their feet, great support and you can wear it all day long, super comfy.

I have somewhat flat feet and just started wearing insoles and orthotics in my shoes. I figured I'd need to retire my flip flops because they provide no support, but then I found these and not only are they supportive, they are also a lot more comfortable than any other pair of flip flops I've owned.

After my first experience with plantar fasciitis, my physical therapist recommended Vionic shoes. I wear these around the house as I need the arch support. I have worn these for over a year now and could not be more pleased. Two months ago, I bought Vionic's "docker style" shoe and they are incredibly comfortable as well. I am looking forward to the day when Vionic's releases a larger variety of dress shoes.

At the beach for a week and My knees started bothering me. I decided to throw out my old flat flip flops and give these a try. Great choice, made all the difference in the world. Hopefully they will last a few years.

These are my favorite flip flops by far. They are very sturdy and I have been wearing them for a few months now. At first your feet and legs may become sore as it aligns your posture just right to make sure your feet are in the right position, but your body will get used to it overtime. They are very comfortable and have a fashionable look to them so you won't look like you are stuck in the 90's or in dad territory.

These are the best sandals I've ever had. They are incredibly form fitting, look good and haven't worn out after two years of a lot of wear. I have bad feet (tendinitis) and they're great for my feet.

I love these flip flops! I have a EE foot and a high instep. It's hard to find flip flops that fit. The strap is attached to the side rather than the sole allowing more room for wide feet. They also have great arch support. I ordered one size larger than my shoe size and they fit perfectly.

Here's the deal. I wear a 9 1/2 EEE or 9 1/2 EEEE depending on the shoe. Based on size chart a couple of years ago I purchased the Vionic Wave in size 9. Once I was able to slide the shoe on, the fit was good or so I thought. Decided to get a new pair of Vionics and order Tide. This time I ordered a size 10 and the fit is terrific. I can easily slide both feet into the shoe and the arch support hits me in the right spot. If you have wider fit and are a half size you might want to order up not dow.

I was looking for flips with great arch support, as I have flat feet. While the arch support on the Vionics are great, the straps were a looser fit than some others. I settled on the Reef Ortho Bounce which had the same or better arch support, the straps hugged my feet more, and felt higher on the quality scale.

Overall a nice pair of flip flops. Very light and seem to be well constructed. It does take a bit to get used to the arch support - there is a lot of support. The only slight negative I can give them is the strap material (under the leather) holds moisture. Once wet it stays wet for some time = not the ideal beach sandals.

These flip-flops seem to be too wide for my feet, they are too loose.

I normally wear a 14 wide, but purchased this since I wanted a sandal with support. Surprisingly width was ok, but my heel hung off the back. Had to return.

I should have been warned by some of the critical reviews. I bought these to replace an old pair of Vionic that look almost identical... however these are significantly tighter and my husband says they don't feel the same. In comparing the two they are significantly more narrow. I am disappointed because I ordered the same size as before and we can't order bigger than a 14 and there's no wide option.

I bought these for my husband last summer. He was having issues with his arches. I ordered several brands of sandals with good arch support but he said these felt the best. The sandals helped him a lot BUT after a couple months of wearing them, his feet would turn black on the bottom and where the straps were. Every day it was like he had walked in ink. I looked at the sandals and it appears the foam was disintegrating, almost melting - they were like tar on the contact areas. It is only 7 months later, summer is around the corner, and I am looking for new pair of sandals for him.

Vionic is a favorite brand. Fits well and good support. I wish the women's styles came in larger sizes so I could enjoy a stylish size 12 vs buying men's shoes.
