Gorgeous, supple leather and real soles. I wish I could keep these, but the last is too narrow for my wide foot bones.

I've been ordering boots and sending them back for more than 3 years. Simply said I would not settle for an okay fit/style/price. Took a while until I narrowed my search to Frye and again to acclimate to sizing down. I wear 11.5 women's shoe which means I wear a 'large 11' or a 'small 12' - realistically I usually buy men's shoes but they tend to run wide for me. (I am 6 feet tall) I'm very pleased I am able to wear this feminine-tough style ... at almost half price! The leather is exquisite, fully lined so no seams rubbing your foot wrong. The hard soles make a clack-clack sound as you walk. Urban kickers - I enjoy the worn in look since I would be nervous breaking in $400 boots. I had my doubts that I could ever find MY boots - kudos to Zappos & Frye!

Kept wearing these around the house because I wanted them to fit, but my heels were moving too much with each step. I am usually an 8.5 narrow, but ordered an 8 regular and they fit much better than the 8.5s I was trying. I have narrow calves - about 13" and these fit pretty good. I could still stick my hand down between my leg and the boot. Wish I could keep them. They're really pretty, but my heels were just coming up too much.

The most comfortable boots I own! These boots are made so well. The arch is in the right spot to give them added comfort.

Love these! The cognac colored leather is just beautiful and not too stiff at all. I know it's going to soften to perfection in time but hopefully won't ever be too saggy. The shaft height is perfect for my short legs -- knee high boots for other people are too high for me, but this mid calf height is great. I have no problem with the shaft being too skinny -- I can get them over skinny jeans just fine. But I am built fairly petite. I love the classic almond-ish toe.

I love these boots. Not too hard to get on (they're pull on), not too hot, not clunky. Really well made, quality materials. Also, as someone who's had bouts of plantar fasciitis, I am relieved to find that these boots are just fine for my feet and are pretty comfortable.

I love these boots although they are difficult to get your foot into. You need to wear a thin silky sock to help slide your foot in. The calve width is a little snug but I'm sure they will break in over time. Nothing is better than a Frye boot. They are made well & very comfortable!

Nice looking boot! Too tight around the calf. Cannot fit a sock, much less skinny jeans. The footbed had great support and the boot did feel great around my foot. Did not wear them beyond my bedroom, so can't say how they would feel after a while.

Color is beautiful, style is great, except the toe curves up a bit. Ordered the 8's (my normal size) and they felt and looked a little like clown shoes, a weird arch and a bit too long. Ordered the 7.5 and I couldn't get my foot in them. The are going back.

I have the Frye Harness 12R and ordered the same size in this boot. I couldn't even get my foot in it because they are so narrow. They are really cute, but it doesn't matter if I can't wear them.

The boots fit really weird. I have a flat foot, maybe that is why they felt so awkward. But other boots don't feel this way. There is a big lump where my arch should be. The boots have a bulge at the toe, which can be seen in the pictures. The fit around the calf is nice. Snug and flattering. I could not get used to the feel of the boot. Had to return.

I loved the look of this shoe, but the shaft is way too narrow. It is a struggle to get in and out, and the shoe is not soft, although it looks like it is. It is very stiff, not comfortable at all. Sorry to return it.
