Best shoes I have ever owned

I have been wearing Johnston & Murphy shoes for work, dress and casual for over 10 years to the exclusion of other brands. I have found them to be durable, well made (without defect), stylish and comfortable. I have never been disappointed in any Johnston & Murphy product. The Johnston & Murphy store near me closed so recently, when the time came to replace my work shoes I began shopping other brands. Nothing but disappointment and discomfort. No matter which X-brand shoe I tried they were uncomfortable and appeared to be poor quality material. I chose to go on-line and picked the Tabor Saddle shoe. This was a new style for me. After wearing them around the house for two, two hour break-in sessions, I have been wearing them several times per week for 12 hour work shifts. Very comfortable, slip resistant and they look great. I highly recommend Johnston & Murphy shoes.

This is a really comfortable shoe, soft leather yet feels secure on foot. I only wish it came in Black!

A very nice Saddle alternative to the discontinued Owen Saddle from J&M. I love the styling and would like even more if it had a leather sole. But the quality is there, so can't complain too much. Enjoy wearing J&M for the past 16 years.

I love love my new shoes! Have nothing bad too say. There sleek, stylish, and fun too wear. You wont go wrong with these bad boys!!

I love the shoe's style--the epitome of dressy casual. J&M's website advertised the color as "mahogany," and the on-line photo showed a darkish brown, with perhaps a tinge of red. When the shoes arrived, however, they were a significantly lighter shade of brown with no hint of red. I would call them "chestnut," not "mahogany." The actual color didn't work for me, so I regretfully returned them.

Comfortable except ankle part a little wide on my narrow foot. Dames clerk asst mgr Eric was excellent. Very patient and accommodating. Overall pleased. I am not easy to fit. Age 71.

I wear these to work on occasion. Got a few compliments on them as well.

I wear these to work. Business casual dress code. Could also work for casual dress.

I love this dress shoe but I still have to use my insoles...not enough cushioning. I've also purchased the same pair in black but they don't seem to be the same quality as the brown shoes. Although they were delivered within 48 hours which I thought was amazing
