I purchased this for post-surgical abdominal support. The shaping power of this is mediocre at best. I’m 5’9” and 170lbs. Purchased in an XL as advised. It feels skinny when it first goes on but it loses its shaping power after a couple of hours. And then there was the rolling. Despite the latex interior underbust band, the only way I could get this to stay put was to pull it way up and put my bra on over it. I’d send it back if I hadn’t already worn it.

I think these would work well if the size guide were accurate. Based on the size guide I should be a medium. I bought 2 mediums in different colors. They roll all the way down to my waist and will not stay up. I can't wear them under bodycon dresses, which is what I wanted to do. Get a size up.

I liked these a lot. It has the rubber on the inside in the back which helps it NOT roll down like the others I have. They were easy(er) to get in & out of than some other control top hose & pant/short things I own. Definitely recommend these.

Love, love, love the fit and the results of the shaper. These help support the back, especially when the girth is too large + it makes clothes look better.

Buy the size you need based on weight and be honest with yourself. I fell on the border and went a size up and these are fantastic. Size smaller would have caused rolling and bunching. No one knows what size you wear… get what you need, not what you wish you were ;)

These work perfectly for me. I bought them in black and nude. They do not roll down and make no lines under my clothes.

definitely holds everything in, but cuts across & gives horrible panty lines.

They are so thin my finger went right through them the first time I put them on.

I like it and I hate it. Its great when you get it on but trying to get it on can be hard. It did roll a little on me at the to[ but not to bad. It's thin and not to hot. Im 5'5, 170 and I got a large.

The worse style of Spanx ever used! It rolls up in a small band no matter how hard you fight this!

True to size

They look and feel great on but after you pull them down once, I could not get them to stay up the same way again.

I'm 148lbs so got a medium. Love th color and feel however it does not stay in place. Rolls down as soon as I pull them up unfortunately

I didn't realize the power panties were going to be that high up on the body. I have a short torso, so it was not a good fit for me.

This garment was good for those with a longer torso...

I recently had huge major abfominsl surgery and have tried these to help with pain and recovery. Works great.

love the rise, great for shorter length clothes but it digs in a bit at the backside. still a keeper!

The seams started to unravel after one wear. This is not the quality I usually see from Spanx.

I’ve had spanx higher power panties before, and for the price, these just aren’t worth it. yes they are slimming, but too constrictive, and rolled down. tried the size up, and they were too big and still rolled down. sent both back.

I'd always heard that Spanx were the best, but these do nothing to hold you in! Really worthless, in my opinion.

I give up.First time I’ve been desperate enough to get something like this and if the fit and size is like jeans and bras I’m going to be screwed. And that’s what I am, screwed.. my weight says 1X, my waist says 2X and so to be safe I ordered a 3X. I liked to never got these things pulled up and the backside was already rolling down.. I was Leary of the price because all other things were so much more expensive it probably wouldn’t work. I was right.
