This is my second Dooney & Bourke handbag - I search far and wide for different types/styles and find myself returning to the bags I love - classic style and functional. I went with the pebble color and it's nice (more pink grey?). Having the extra leather/feet on the bottom is a nice touch. I use the front pocket for my phone and the back pocket for a small id/wallet... with plenty of room on the inside for a wristlet, coin purse and handbag basics. So if you want grab the whole bag and go - or, you can quickly reach for your phone, id/wallet from the outside pockets for a quick errand. The only complaint with this bag is the shoulder straps - one most often falls off my shoulder. I looked online and see that you can buy non-slip strips that might help?

This is a really cute tote. It is more of an orange sherbet than yellow color which I did like. I am returning it because the handles are so stiff witht edges so sharp that they actually pinche and hurt my shoulder. Very sad because the size is perfect and I wanted a bag I could get into for a lipstick or a tissue easily when I'm driving and this bag was it.

Ordered the teal and steel blue. Returned the teal as it was quite dark. Love the steel blue color and the bag. It's a little heavy, but Dooney bags are heavy. Best feature is all the pockets - 2 outside and 4 inside.

I ordered this to use for a purse on those days when I need to haul around a little more than normal. It has plenty of room for a wallet, phone, small cosmetic bag, mini iPad, and a few other small items. The inside has a small zipper pocket on the side and a couple open pouches for organization. Other than that it is one big storage area. The outside is a nice pebbled finish in a soft mauve, and the handles are long enough to put over my shoulder if I want to hold the bag close. It looks durable with small metal feet to protect it when it sits on the floor. I'm hoping it will last a long time. I only gave it 4 stars for both comfort and style because the zipper closure (which I'm assuming a lot of people don't bother with) is very stiff and it appears that it will take some use before the zipper will move easily back and forth. When not using the zipper however, the top of the bag folds nicely into the bag itself so that you can see inside, and access the contents. I would recommend this bag....

For so long I admired this bag. Finally I was able to get the Lexington shopper & am enjoying it so much. Much roomier inside than one would imagine, and I love the side pockets which hold my business postcards on one side & cell phone in the other; are awesome. I'm able to fit a large bifold wallet, sunglasses & a sizable makeup bag in the purse. There is just something so understated & preppy/horse girl about the Lexington Shopper, & I love that!

It's a nice purse. Well made but it was a little on the small size for me. However, I probably would have kept it but I decided the purse was too heavy with all of my stuff in it. Returned it.

The size of this bag is so moderate, and the rich brown color is gorgeous. I was sorry to return Lexington because (1) it is heavy (2) it is stiff. Most importantly, the zipper structure is awkward. When you want to fully open the bag, the zipper extends beyond the leather onto its unattached tape, requiring two hands to close.

I did like the look of the bag, but like other reviewers it drove me nuts when the outside strap kept falling down. I didn't want to make it work and will be on the look out for another bag.

Dooney & Bourke never disappoints. Beautiful bag that will last a lifetime.

Great little purse.

This is my second Dooney and Bourke Small Lexington Tote. This tote is the perfect size. The leather is fabulous and the storage is amazing. I highly recommend this tote.

I love the bag and its features which make things easy to find. It is very attractive and I'm not finding the straps to be an issue. I would also like one just a little bigger but I knew the size and it is true to description.

This purse is classic! It's just the perfect size. I have searched and searched and ended up choosing this handbag. Pockets are where they should be, zipper zips well and it's not too big and not too small. There were tons of color selections also. I would definitely go with Dooney again! Thumbs up!!!

This is a beautiful bag. Outstanding materials and construction, and the shoulder drop length is perfect - not too long, not too short. It is very comfortable, and will hold a LOT of things, including a small umbrella, paperback novel, maybe a rolled-up magazine, or water bottle. Ample pockets and compartments, too! One caution: The 'oyster' color is a good bit darker than what it appears in the photo. It is more of a taupe color, with a touch of mauve in it. It goes with every color in my closet, so I think I will keep it. It's expensive, but the quality and the utility are worth it, in my opinion!

Very nice purse. Just the right size...not too big, not too small. Nice classic style. Very happy with it. Love all of the color choices too!!!
