If you want a super lightweight hat with a brim then the Incendo hat is the one for you. It weighs just .9 ounces and the brim is great expecally under your rain gear. Ive had mine for about 6 months now and it looks brand new. I use this hat almost every day.

I bought this to use as a breathable rain hat to wear under the hood of my rain jacket. Having a rigid brim hat adds a little more coverage than just a brimmed hood. Hey, I know this stuff, I live in Seattle. This might be the only Purple hat I have seen since I lived in Minnesota (Viking country) many years ago. The hat comes with multiple annoying tags sewn into a seam. I removed them as carefully as I could, but made a slight quarter inch tear along the seam which I will have to sew up. This is my fault, and I think they have to attach the tags by law, but I would prefer a hat with no tags sewn into it.

Great hat. Very comfortable for warmer days. For the price, it should last a while but I've only had it for a few weeks. Time will tell.

if you are looking for a very lightweight hat, this could be for you. Arcteryx is known for shedding unneeded weight in features and construction and this is clearly the case here. Its a very fitting hat, fits like a glove and the single point of adjustment is plenty for various forms and head shapes. The material is very durable and designed for resisting the elements. Materials is very thin, great breathability and venting. Some have argued the cheap logo but I appreciate it as an attention to detail, its simple, lightweight, doesnt add bulk, and serves a reflector on the front of the cap. Overall great cap, very well made and though put into a simple hat. I mainly wear it for running/trail running.

so ive had this hat in blue for the last 3 months. i feel like there needs to be a little more said about this hat then there was in previous reviews so here we go. ive ran in Portland and California in it in temperatures ranging from 40 degrees to 100 degrees and for me its the best hat ive ever used by far. the material is fantastic. I run hot and never feel clammy or anything. the material dries pretty quick and the hat weighs nothing. you will not even feel it on your head. and it folds down and fits in very backpack I own. the absolute best feature is the fact that this hat NEVER smells. I play tennis, run, hike, workout in it and I have never had to really wash it. you just need to run water on it to clean it. the color (blue) has not faded in the least bit. the smallest problem is that there is really nothing to catch your sweat. but I sweat a lot and it takes a long time for that to be an issue. the string in the hat that secures it down works very well and the hat wraps around the bottom of your skull so you can really secure it down for the wind. you can secure it down almost to the point that any other hat would either hurt or not even go on your head at all and this never feels like its really strapped down that hard. I use this hat daily and it still looks as new as the day I bought it. even the logo has not faded or lost its reflectiveness at all. and the logo is incredibly reflective so its a good thing to wear for night runs. ive thrown it, dropped it in dirt, worn it to death in the cali sun and washed it in water probably 30 times there is still nothing wrong with it. looks as good as the day i bought it. its so easy to care for. I will own it in all 4 colors soon. its expensive but if wearing a hat is something that you do with your outdoor activities I highly recommend it. I am very picky about fit and look and this is a winner.

This is a really nice running and climbing hat. I can barely tell I am wearing it under a climbing helmet and does not make me hot. Adds a lot of sun protection with little downside as with most hats. The main issue that I have with the Incendo are that the tags are HUGE. The tags seem larger than the actual clothing tags that Arc uses and are particularly bothersome when they flop out of the hat. They are not easily removable either.

Good things: 1) It fits very well 2)materials are superb Things to improve/change: 1)no sweat band 2)make white colour available please, I tried this hat for running in sunny weather....dark colour just heats up very fast. 3)make "bird" embroidered please and not painted. I returned this hat.
