I work in the ground floor of an office with a cement slab under thin carpet that radiates cold in the winter. After way too many days of frozen feet, I sought out something I could wear that would pass muster in a business casual environment but that would keep my feet as warm as my soft, fuzzy slippers at home. The Hendren TL (in Cordovan) fits that bill. They are lighter weight than you'd think, very warm and probably one of the more visually appealing pairs of Uggs I've seen. That said, I've found that these boots are best for stationary or casual comfort-I do not find them great for longer or brisker walks, as they are stiff enough at the ankle that the tops press into the front and back of my calves (this also comes into play driving a stick shift as well) when I take longer steps. There is also a good amount of give to the sole (feels like stepping onto a firm, but plush carpet), and the traction on slippery surfaces is only average. However, I did not get these for hiking, I got them for warmth and comfort when sitting at my desk, and also to pass muster with my company's dress code for meetings and around the office wear. They match my needs in that regard perfectly.

i bought these as winter boots for farm work but liked them so much that i kept them as winter casual errand/ going out boots.

Great shoes for winter. Water/snow resistant, warm and incredible comfortable. I've actually bought them twice after my first pair was ruined in a flood, however, before that I had them for over 2 years and they were in great condition.

Great warm truly waterproof booths

Actually had to modify one boot due to ankle injury but it's great. Good support and maintain structure and integrity of the boot.

I bought it for my father who lives in the area with harsh winter. He really enjoys it. It is comfortable and warm. It will keep him from coldness.

I have had two pairs of the Hendren TL Boots over the past 10 to 11 years and finally needed another pair. I simply love these boots. They are warm, totally water proof, good looking and for me, easy on and off with the side zipper is the cat's meow. I have tall insulated winter boots for snow blowing and shoveling, but in the fall, winter and early spring months the Hendren's are my favorite shoe. If I didn't like them this much, I certainly would not have bought a third pair. Thanks, UGG, you have put out a great boot!
