LOVE this hat. I always remember my Grandpa wearing these and always liked them, now I have one too. I ordered a S/M but I have more of a M/L head so I was worried how it would fit. Now that I've worn it for a bit, it has stretched out and is super comfy. It also is breathable enough to wear inside at social functions if you so desire.

Using the Hat all season long. Since its light weight wool, its not too hot, and winter warming pretty good. The Ear flaps are just amazing ! Just a perfect looking accesory, to shade your eyes from the sun and warm your ears when its windy.

Utah got a very late winter this year, so I know this cap works well for chilly AND cold hikes in the hills. Good looking sun protection, plus it comes with hidden earflaps to preserve my ears for when the wind picks up.

Works nicely for casual day-to-day around town, and also for more formal occasions. It's a warm cap, and the ear flaps are good for colder, windier days. Overall, very pleased!

Love this lid. It looks very good in both colors and is a nice discreet piece of performance gear. The fold down ear flaps cut wind nicely. I wish there was a size in the middle as the s/m is a bit tight and the l/xl is definitely too loose.

Thought I lost this hat the other day and nearly panicked. I was relieved to see OR still offered it so I bought another one just in case. True comfort with a soft fleece lining that doesn't overheat your head and a design that works for casual and even more dressy stuff. Quality construction as you would expect from OR. Best hat ever for an all day or night pub crawl.

Good hat for hanging in town. Ear flaps are great for winter time.

I absolutely love this hat. This is my go-to cold weather casual hat. Very comfortable, great fit (I have the small/medium), and looks nice. Works as a straight casual or even business casual hat. The pewter was a little too light for me, but the black model is perfect! It's actually more of a very dark charcoal than black.

Very warm nice material. My only complaint is that the Cap was folded oddly in the package which set a wrinkle on one side that I can't seem to get out and it can rub on one spot and become aggravating. Would love a replacement that didn't have this issue.

Convenient to carry and cool looking. Ear cover is flimsy, maybe better than nothing.

Loved the look but is lighter weight than I expected. Color is a little lighter than in the picture.

Comfortable. It appears to have been changed from a couple of years ago as it doesn't seem to fit the same as one from then but it is still comfortable. Not as form fitting. Probably just my head shape. . With the ear flaps down it feels like it could withstand gale force winds.

Good everyday cap, but bulges a bit at the sides.

Really enjoying this cap for my daily bus commute in n wintery, wet Vancouver. It is easily crushable and stuffed in my bag. If I lost this one is buy another without hesitation.

Overall, the hat fits well, is somewhat waterproof, and is designed well. But there is room for improvement. The hat could be thicker(more material) I personally feel that the ear flaps are useless, I don't use that option. But it's still a good hat.

I love these pub hats. I have a few in different colors and have given them as gifts. What i like most normally is the fit, but now, the fit is why I'm giving two stars. The hat is made to usual excellent material quality standards, but these 'loden' (green) version DO NOT fit like the other colors. I gave the L/XL hats intended for me and my brother, to my 4 and 3 year old niece and nephew. The hats fit them, so they have a good home, but i was disappointed.

Bought the XL and it doesn't even fit my head. Leaves a horrible red mark around it if I wear it. In the trash it goes. A shame because it's warm but it's made for tiny heads.

Uh, ear flaps are make of scratchy nylon and if you use them you can't hear anything but scratching noise.
