I have two pairs of Danskos. I needed a shoe with a open top and chose this one for the style. I wear a 9. I put this shoe on and it was really tight. I have an arthritic big toe joint and the curve of the toe box hit the bone right where the joint is, causing extreme pain. It is much narrower than my other Danskos. The arch support it phenomenal and for the most part, the left foot feels great in this shoe. I am exchanging the 39 (9M) for the 40 (9.5 - 10) hoping this will work. Otherwise, I will have to return them. I will be disappointed if the 40 doesn't fit because the style is so trendy! I felt so sexy in this shoe! I gave it 5 stars across the board because I know if I had a normal big toe, these shoes would be PERFECT!

These are amazing - the bottoms are comfy and the fabric is soft. I have some super weak ankles though and while they are super comfy on the bottom, they are also a little heavy. I worried that they'd be too much weight for my ankles. If that's not a problem for you, though - I definitely recommend them! The ankle straps are adjustable and the front fit my wide feet so nicely. They are stylish for such a comfortable shoe.

I've been suffering from plantar fasciitis, so I needed some better shoes. These are really comfortable for my aching feet (seriously, I didn't realize how bad my other shoes were until I put these on), but cute enough that I can feel good about wearing them to work every day. I was worried about wearing them barefoot with the suede, but the lining is very comfortable without socks and keeps my feet dry.

Two months ago, fed up with my constant foot and leg pain, I decided to bite the bullet and buy my first pair of Danskos and immediately I was addicted! This is my third pair, and it definitely lives up to expectations. Since my feet are different sizes (9 on the right, 9.5 on the left), I always have a hard time fitting ballet flats. Either they crush my left foot or fly off my right foot and I have to overcompensate to keep them on, which only aggravates my muscle tightness. These, however, are perfect! The strap means everything stays where it's meant to and I don't have to worry about kicking these across the road when I'm running for my bus. The zipper on the back means not fiddling with the buckles after the first fitting, and after several days wearing these at my standing desk, I can say they exceed comfort expectations. Now, if only they had more options in the leather finish!

This shoe is almost perfect. The cushioning is superb, and if you're like me and tired of feeling like you're walking barefoot because shoes are too thin soled, then Lois will not disappoint. My only issue with the comfort is it digs slightly into the top of my foot where it crosses near the toes. That's the bone bump on my foot, though, so if you don't have that problem, these should be perfection for you! The style is super cute with the double straps. Dansko's are normally hit or miss with me, because I wear an 11N and most are not narrow enough. These, however, were a great fit. They are worth the money, ladies, so buy, buy, buy!

I love this shoe! Super cute and oh-so comfy. The leather is supple with a little give where you need it. I might order another pair now that spring is right around the corner.

These are truly beautifully made shoes. They are stylish for clogs and very well made. They are a great investment. I thought they might be too young for me at age 62, but they are too great to care and every one was full of compliments.

Wow. I love this hoe. It's a little wild looking. If they had it in metallic tones or brown or grays I'd buy a bunch, but I think the other colors are clownish. :-(

I have a low instep and a slightly narrow foot, so ballet flats don't work for me. These are the closest I've been able to get! Not quite as supportive as the clogs, but they have very nice cushion. I can wear these all day teaching.

Wearing these shoes all day is like a walk in the park! As a teacher, I am on my feet all day, and they are a dream. They are cute and funky, and the zipper in the back eases the on-off process!

I love these shoes. I wear a size 9 and the size 40 fits me best. I like that the toe box allows me to wiggle my toes. I cannot tolerate a shoe that puts any pressure on my toes. The ankle straps make the shoes. They look great and they keep the shoe secure on your foot.

I haven't worn shoes with heels in years, but I decided to give these a try after reading the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable these were. They also look amazing, with just a subtle dash of punk.

These are very comfortable. Like better than the thick strap style. They look better with tights better than bare legs.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are a bit roomy, but so cute. I am so glad that Dansko has some shoes with removable insoles.

I ordered these lovely shoes and liked them except they were too wide for my skinny ankles, feet. So sad as I did like the way they looked. My feet were swimming in them from side to side. They ought to look real nice on the gal who has average or wide width feet.

I really like these shoes. I've had trouble in the past with Dansko sizing. I'm generally between an 8.5 and 9 depending on the brand, but these in size 39 fit perfectly. They were comfortable off the bat, look great with ankle jeans and I can even get away with wearing them to the office. The buckles and metal studs give them a trendier look than most Dansko shoes. My only request of the brand is that they find a way to make styles like these in non-leather materials.

I bought these in the turquoise. Love them! Also bought Lulu in purple and feel the same about them. I rarely put on a pair of shoes and wear them immediately without some discomfort. Keep it up Dansko you're starting to get it right again. I'm a 67 year old grandma!

I rarely write reviews but I had to say how unbelievable these shoes are! I had foot surgery 6 months ago and finding stylish shoes that are comfortable and my surgeon approves of has been a challenge. I am a 9-9.5 and I ordered the size 40. I probably could go 39 but I don't want to give them up to try! Also the ankle strap keeps them from sliding around.

These shoes are very comfortable, despite what I thought at first. I wore them around the house a bit, and they seemed like they were chafing a bit, but when I wore them to work, everything just smoothed out. The bottoms of these shoes are flexible and resilient, and they are as high quality as all my other Dansko shoes. The style seemed maybe too quirky to me in the photos, but in real life they look stylish and just a tad artsy. They have a Euro feel to them which I really like.

I have narrow feet and can't wear regular ballet flats, which is why I go for the ankle strap styles. I love these shoes! In addition to being stylish, they are extremely comfortable. Dansko is great for those of us who still like the chunky/funky shoe styles.

Incredibly comfortable! Like walking on supportive clouds! They look amazing with tights and leggings.The little studs aren't as obvious as they appear in the photo, which may or may not please you.

I still have not had a chance to wear these shoes but when I tried them on I could say they are very comfortable and they fit true to size. The buckle is what help these shoes look stylish and not old lady like.

This might be the most comfortable, adorable shoe I have ever worn. I have issues with my feet and am limited in heel height etc. These shoes are extremely comfortable, feel like a Dansko clog but don't look like a clog. They are wonderful! People are shocked when I tell them they are Dansko's. Flattering, comfy and stylish.

Hands down the most comfortable shoes ever! I am on my feet 12+ hours a day. I have told people that I feel like I could jump off of a tall building and bounce in these. I normally wear wides. These do not come in wide so I decided to give them a try and they were just perfect. I find them adorable with anything!

My toes and feet would start to go numb after working for long hours. I put these on and could feel the support they provided . This should aid in my feet getting back to normal! They have nice firm sides to keep the foot structured but the padding in the shoe is very comfortable to stand on. I'm very happy with my purchase. I actually bought two more pairs after this pair came in :).
