Shoes did run about a half size too large but they are extremely comfortable and seem to do well in snowy weather. Love them so far!

An excellent product. Worth the money! Good arch support for my flat feet and the ankle support make them that much more comfortable for those of us with no arches. Look great and extremely comfortable! Great for travel during winter and wet weather.

I like the shoes. They are doing well in the harsh Chicago winters. Shoe laces are a bit long and probably run a half size large, but those are both fixable and the quality of the shoe makes it worth it.

I love these boots. Love the look. Love how comfortable they are. My size 15 slides right in without it bulging out the sides. Good grip too. Thee only complaint I have about these boots, is there isn't that much arch support, but as long as you don't where them for more than 12 or so hours, you're good

Great, comfortable boot! As comfortable as some athletic sneakers I have. It's relatively light weight (compared to a hiking boot) and is perfect to wear all day. My only negative comment is the laces are about 2X longer than you need so I'll pick up some shorter laces. Other than that, these boots rock!

Good quality, comfortable and look great. The red laces are a nice touch. After wearing a few times, they still look brand new so they will look good for a long time. Highly recommend

The shoe is a great fit and the blue laces offer a little different look than normal. Just what I was looking for.

True to fit, comfortable and has a nice balance between utility and street style. There isn't great traction on the base, but I think that will happen over time. However, the footbed is really comfortable and thick. The laces are quite bright, so I might replace them at some point, but they're thick and made to last.

I've been wearing these for the last 2 weeks in France and they have performed very well. Comfortable and supportive, I wasn't sure about how they would hold up in the rain so I immediately Used a waterproofing spray on them and a good thing because we've had 5 or 6 days of rain here. My feet were always comfy and toasty warm. I needed a half size larger than my other Merrell's and Zappos expedited my exchange so that I had them and in time for my trip.

These are very comfortable, lightweight boots that go well with jeans for a casual look or can be worn as a light duty work boot. They run about a half size larger than normal.

Boots very comfortable and warm. Plus keep my feet dry. I did order 1/2 smaller and they fit well. They appear light gray in the pictures but are a light faded green color.

Bought these for my hubby and he loves them! Good traction, casual look to match most outfits. They do run big! I had to exchange them for a half size smaller than normal and he says they are still a little big. They run wide so it helps to wear think socks with them.

This are my new favorite pair of shoes. Ultra light weight and comfortable. Of note, I wear a size 12 in every shoe type I have, but I ordered a 11.5 in this shoe and it fits perfectly.

Somehow the soles are some of the most slippery ever on wet sidewalk or asphalt. Very little padding inside shoe. Just tolerable for flat feet. Look great though. Holds up in wet weather. Half size to big

I really, really wanted to like these. I already own a pair of Merrell hiking boots which are excellent and still in fine shape. I like the red laces on the brown sugar version of this chukka. But comparing it to other chukkas, I felt that it was tight around ankle. And it's not like I have big ankles or big legs. I'm 5'7" 150 lbs. I guess I could have lived with it and gotten used to it, but I didn't want to deal with the chafing. I ended up returning these Merrell's and choosing some other chukkas.

I love these shoes. They were comfortable straight out of the box, and I wore them on an 8 mile hike their first day out. I heeded other reviewers' observations and bought a half size smaller. I'm a 9.5 in Nike, and the 9.0 Merrell fit similarly. They are a bit roomy width-wise, so I personally will only wear them with thick socks. The insole was well cushioned, and my feet never fatigued. They felt like wearing a pair of sneakers - - almost. At 1 lb, they don't inspire you to run in them; however, the toe box is nice and round so my toes don't feel squished or confined. Recommended.

These are nice style shoes. They run a little long so I ordered half a size smaller and that was good. But for my foot the width was tight, with my usual medium width. With the right fit they would be good walking shoes.

Great looking shoe and very comfortable but it came in at least a 1/2 size larger than most shoes. Love it though.
