Hiked mountains in the Adirondacks and wanted these shoes to work, but they were very unstable on rough terrain. I couldn't trust my footing in them.

I am a size 8 and never anything else for the past 40 years. A size 8 = euro size 39, occasionally 38 but never in all my years has a US 8 been euro 40. Now here I am on a plane to Europe completely miserable with my heels sliding out of these stupid shoes. It’s not like I brought an extra pair of hiking shoes. I was hoping I could break them in but just looked at the tongue & saw this size conversion. HOKA! 8 is not a 40! I’ve been happy with their running shoes but extremely displeased with this hiking shoe :(

I have other Hoka's which I love. I really wanted to love this style too. I need a waterproof hiking shoe. The cushioning is great, but the heel slippage is a problem. I agree with the reviewer who wrote that the front half and back half don't go together...at least for me. Really sorry to have to return them!!!

I bought these upon the recommendation of my podiatrist for arthritis in my large toes. At first they felt tight, so I chose my regular size to avoid pressure pain. Now, after having walked a few miles in them they feel really loose. Unfortunately these don't have the extra hole for laces as the sneakers which makes me slip out in the back. Rockersole is good, sizing a big problem at least for me. I will wear these with thick socks, but won't buy another pair.

These were disappointing. Not good for hiking at all as sole is a bit slick and not comfortable for day to day when compared to hoka running shoes. I do like the color.

The heel was too wide and up high which rubbed on the heel. Nice shoe but ran wider than my other Hoka one one.

I love the look of these but unfortunately as another reviewer mentioned, the way that the tongue of the shoe is attached to the body of the shoe makes it very uncomfortable right away, at least for someone with medium to high arches. It feels like you have something stuck in the top of the shoe.

I liked these shoes; they were comfortable and waterproof but the liners in the heel broke down far before the rest of the shoe. They were inferior in terms of quality compared the rest of the shoe.

The tongue of the shoe is sewn into place; once they were tied snug the seams made the tops of my feet hurt.

I have been buying Hoka's for well over a year to help with my plantar faciaitis. I love your running shoes and hoped these would be equally comfortable. I put in many miles a day and needed a waterproof winter shoe, but this is not it. Even with orthotics for my high arches, I end the day with tremendous foot pain and calf pain. Wish they would work - I might try the others, but I'll be sending these back.

This is supposed to be the wide option now that they changed the width of the Stintson. This is WAY too narrow for a wide foot. I couldn't even tolerate them on my feet for five minutes. The tongue is also very tight which is good for someone with a narrow foot. It definitely makes the shoe more snug, but for me, it just made it more tight and uncomfortable. This was not a quality issue. The shoes are high quality. It's just now there are no good options in the Hoka line for a wide foot. The length seemed a bit tighter too for my normal size in Hoka shoes.

I purchased the Tor Summit Waterproof. It was too big, I called for a return label, and returned it. I waited and did not see the refund to my account. I called the first time and was told to follow up with the bank because the refund was processed. According to the bank it was not processed. I called Hoka to let them know and they hung up on me. Wow, terrible service. What do I do now? No integrity.

I always buy size 8 hiking boots but these size 8 are much too long. So I exchanged for a size 7.5. The length was better but the width was much too large especially in the heel. Disappointed because otherwise they are very comfortable. Appreciate the quick and easy exchange and returns.

I love my tor summit hiking boots and assumed these would fit the same but they don't. The heels slip and at the same time they are too short so I ended up with blisters on my toes.

For work, nurse, work a minimum of 12 hours a day, 3 days in a row. Not as bad looking as the HOKA sneakers but for the amount of money it costs, the shoes are no better than allegria or dansko work shoes. Very disappointing.
