One of the best fitting shoes I've had in the last 5 years!

I work on a concrete floor for 10 hours a day, 4 days a week. I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and these are the only brand of shoes that allow me to walk out of work instead of crawl. LOVE my Hokas!

Foot problems? Look no further. This is the best shoe I have ever had for day hiking. I have nerve and other issues with my right foot that causes pain if standing or walking too long on it. The Tor Summit was so comfortable for my hikes around New Zealand, I kept my other shoes in the suitcase and never wore them. Great for crossing streams. My feet never got wet. Rugged sole had good grip on rocky terrain but the extra cushioning felt like clouds on my feet and I could walk further that I ever could with other shoes. I love these shoes and will buy from this company again.

Great work shoe for me. Having a Norton neuroma and walking on concrete made for a miserable day. Sometimes it would be so bad my entire foot would go numb. The Summit was a great choice for me. No more limping!

This is my second pair of Hoka Tor Summit low top hiking shoes. I wear these for weekday quick 6 mile hikes. They are the only low top hikers I've found that not only feel like slippers but have great stability, water resistance, and grip. These hikers also wear extremely well. My last pair lasted almost 300 miles, a little over 2 years until I started to notice a little slippage on rocks, but that was it as they still look great and I use them around our property.

These shoes are heavier than your normal Hoka's, but seems to be very good made. Very diappointed with the Clifton 6, they seem to break down alot quicker than other hoka shoes.

Very comfortable. I have neuromas and the shoe helped quite a bit with that.

I have used both pair of these for many many miles of day hiking in the mountains. The first pair, a size 8 wore holes in the material by the back of the heel too quickly. I had ro have a shop put a smooth leather over this so I could continue to wear them. Even though the leather was thin, it seemed to take up too much space and my toes jammed on the front with downhill hiking. So, I bought a second pair size 8.5. A little long initially until the same holes started to wear by the heel..again I put a thin leather cover over this to continue to wear it. And then the length was pretty good. I have had achilles tendinosis, so at the time was unable to wear mid hikers due to rub (any brand)..but these did not irritate my achilles. Plus they were very cushioned..very nice..allowed me to go miles further than a non cushion boot would allow. They also had room for my orthotics. The first pair felt too narrow in the mid foot, so I had them stretched. The second pair felt wider (probably due to increased half size) and worked fine. My achilles has healed, and now I would like a mid boot for more support. I tried the Speedgoat mid boot, which was too narrow, and did rub on my left perineal tendon under the malleoli. And I did have rubs on both medial malleoli. Too bad..I will have to return those..I did hike 3 days in a row with increasing distances, but that problem just got worse. So, I ordered a pair of mid Toas and am waiting for them to arrive. If those don't work, I will probably re order or exchange for another pair of low Summits. I really do want more support with a mid boot, but do not want to go to another brand..love the cushioning of Hokas...allows me to go much further. So, we shall see.

My collie Juno died on Friday. He was 11. Even though it was a cool rainy day in Minnesota, I knew he would have wanted me to lace up my Hokas and go! I walk in his honor.

I have been enjoying the Hoka brand since my foot surgery late last year. I really wanted to try their hiking shoes and they did not disappoint.

I have worn this shoe for many years and I love them. I alternate these with the Gaviota - these two shoe models are the only brand and model my surgically reconstructed feet can wear comfortably (thank you, Hoka!). They are excellent for general wear, walking, trail strolling and light hiking. I wear them when I'm doing major outdoor work. I wear custom orthotics so I just remove the insole and insert my own. I love the color (I can also vouch for the men's model, which comes in brown), the support, and the cushioning. However, in my observation they are NOT waterproof. Water resistant, maybe, but I would apply a spray waterproofing product if you're going to be out in really wet conditions.

Too wide for my narrow feet. It was OK until I hiked down hill. My feet slide forward and hit my toes on the end. I’m not sure how to correct this. I’ve laced them up as tightly as I can.

Bought this as an outdoor travel shoe. Love the fit and feel, looks good too. Love the waterproof. Put this shoe to the test, 10 days in Iceland, drove the Ring Road, hiked a lot of waterfalls, all over rough conditions, wet, dry, indoors and out. Love the balance (neutral) and feel. I even wore it a few days at work (nurse) before my trip just to get a feel. Also my new fav work shoe (on my feet all day, lots of walking and standing etc.) Expensive (for me) but I have absolutely no regrets, now Im home from trip, also a favorite gym shoe!!!

I've had these for 1.5 years and they've been great since Day 1. I've taken them on trips to Bhutan, Switzerland, New Zealand, and worn them on hikes, around town (yes, they aren't the best looking city shoes!), and even on long bike rides, and they've been great. Highly recommend. Also, nice that they are totally waterproof!

I have not had the chance to use this product long. I will use shoes in cooler weather or when I go hiking. Shoes interior are very plush. I have foot problems and these will definitely work. They are my 2nd pair of Hoka's and I am pleased with both.

I am recovering from foot surgery and the surgeon recommended Hoka shoes. I already had a pair and so I was happy to get a few more pairs! I just received my Tor Summit Hiking shoes and I love them. I will wear these during the colder months to keep my feet warm and dry. I have to say that the picture didn't do the shoes justice! They are much prettier in person. They are very well made and I expect to have them for a very long time. That is one of the reasons that I don't mind paying the price. When I was younger, I didn't realize how important it is to wear the right shoe and I ruined my feet. This is my 6th surgery on this foot and Hoka is all I care to wear for a long time! I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 and in all my Hokas I wear an 8. My foot is long and narrow and and the 8M fits me perfectly. Because of the surgery I ordered an 8W in another pair of running shoes and it is perfect. I read that the toe box is wide in the Tor Summit hiker and did not order a wide. They worked out just fine. I would recommend sizing up a half size and also ordering a wide if you think you may need it! My favorite feature of my Hokas is the comfort. I have never had a shoe as comfy as all of my Hokas are. I highly recommend them. I only wish that Hoka made dress shoes too!

Had to replace my Engineered Garments edition of this shoe. They were cool looking but poorly constructed. The tongue was uncomfortable and weird and the soles eventually (6-7 months) separated from the shoe. The rep recommended the Tor Summit as a replacement and they are AMAZING. Did a four day hike with no break in period and had absolutely no problems. Totally comfortable, supportive and ready for some rugged all day hiking! Plenty of room in the toe box with no jamming on the down hills. Love them!

This is my 2nd pair of Tors. I love these shoes, and like the entire Hoka range, have never had a problem with breaking them in. The sole is thick enough that you don't feel anything protruding thru them, including cold, which is why I'm planning on taking these bad boys to Antarctica later on this year!!!

I love these shoes. I had a stress fracture in my left foot and needed a stiff boot and these have been perfect...and they look good. I pretty much wear them everywhere except the gym.

UI have to say these shoes make my feet better after the walk than before. They do an excellent job of keeping my legs and knees aligned with my feet so they reduce fatigue. We live in the country so we have a gravel driveway and we walk on dirt/gravel roads. These help with balance on the uneven places. I must recommend these shoes to anyone who battles painful feet when walking. They are helping me love walking again. Thank you Hoka for improving my quality of life.

I purchased this model for a 500 mile walk across Northern Spain in 2017. Let me say this, I would not have been able to complete this trek without these shoes. My feet did not blister nor experience a reoccurrence of plantar fasciitis. It was recommended to purchase a half size large than my usual shoe size and I am glad I did. The toe box did not feel tight or restricted. I am planning to walk the Portuguese leg of the Camino in 2021 and Hoka one one will be on my feet! I recommended to a friend to get this shoe and she completed the walk along Hadrian's Wall without blisters.

I wore these to train for and complete the 4 day Inca Trail hike. They were comfortable out of the box and with a wide toe box, I've had no blisters at all. The trail was difficult and the shoes had great traction and my feet never hurt at all despite the rough terrain and long distance. Highly recommend.

These shoes and a good pair of wool socks helped hike to the top of Half Dome and back (17 miles round trip) with no foot pain! They also had a great grip on the granite.... when others were sliding around on steep granite, these felt secure. Highly recommend!
