My husband asked me to order these for him and he says they are the most comfortable shoes he owns. He has to stand on his feet a lot and several of his friends recommended these. Apparently they were right. He loves them!

I have capsulitis; these shoes are soft but are not adequately structured inside to help me with that. So far, Okabashi Torinos are the only footwear (sandals) that actually provide a wearable solution for capsulitis, and I've tried orthotics as well as SAS, an others. Birkenstocks offer some relief but, really, not sufficient; can't call them a solution. Okabashi Torinos, tho, I can call that.

Curiously, for me seems to run narrower than the Tor Summit WP Mid (and many other shoes), so went up a half size and is OK.

The shoe performed exceptionally well for me on a 13 day trek from Porto Portugal to Santiago Spain (260 km) through varied terrain in very hot weather.

I can no longer run or take hikes. I'm 73 years old and a cancer survivor. The cancer/chemotherapy caused two problems - peripheral neuropathy and loss of padding on the bottom of my feet. Add arthritis and I am left with feet that require very soft shoes and good support. With these shoes (and custom inserts) I can still do a lot of things I enjoy. The only negative is that the Hoka customer support folks don't seem to know how to help people like me. They apparently only understand runners and serious hikers so I had to experiment to find the best shoes for me.

Have this shoe for 3 weeks now and I'm very happy with them. Very comfortable and easy walking. I've got a bum knee and ankle and no stress when walking. This was a good purchase for me. Always happy when doing business with Zappos. One of the best online companies around.

I wear these shoes daily for my work. I work out of doors and the footing can get muddy at times. There are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn and the first I've recommended in years. They are waterproof and comfortable, like walking on clouds.

I have a fused ankle and it's difficult to find a shoe that is comfortable and stable on long walks and hikes. This shoe was made to order. it's comfortable and stable.

Received them very quickly. Great fit, very comfy. Haven't tested the water-proof part yet. Great all around.

My husband has some lifetime annoying problems with his feet which thankfully haven't stopped his active life. However now in his late 60's he has needed foot ware to help him continue his weekly running as well as everyday use. I didn't appreciate the colors he selected after he discovered HokaOneOne . For his birthday I found this nice brown shoe and I think I am happier than he is. He said they are just the same wonderful performance as the other more colorful ones.

Initially I purchased a pair of Hoka running shoes and found them to be the most cushioned & comfortable running shoe I ever purchased over a 40 year running career. Now however, as I am about to escort 25 students to Europe I have developed a serious ankle problem. As such I needed to find a pair of shoes that would lessen the pain on the trip. The TOR SUMMIT filled the requirement. Outstanding shoe!!!

Requires a full size due to harder toe than other Hoka runners.

I wear them everyday, all day. My feet have never felt better, and especially like the "soft" ride on my feet; as I am on my feet all day.

Returning these. footbed is a bit narrower than the bondi I wear everyday. The narrower footbed corresponds to much less support in the arch area. nice shoes, just not for me - I need more support!

Live in the Pacific Northwest, and wear "normal" HOKA's, so thought I'd give these a try now that it is cold and rainy. Out of the box they fit great and walking on wet pavement was great, no water infiltration and good traction on icy surfaces.

I use these for speed hiking with a 40 pound pack. They break in immediately, have soft a feel under the sole on even the sharpest rocks yet have amazing traction up hill and down hill. Much more stable than I thought when I saw how tall they are. They'll easily add 1.5 inches to your height. If there's a downside at all it's that you may toe-catch at first while you get used to the height but that goes away quickly as you adjust. Very rugged shoe!
