I have very bad feet and I stand all day as a teacher. I also walk at least 5 miles each day. So, I am very picky about shoes. I wanted a pair of closed toe shoes to wear with casual spring dresses. I was hoping to be able to walk in the shoes rather than switching to ugly running shoes for the walk to and from school. I love these shoes! They were comfortable right out of the box, no rubbing of my ankle or toes, and I walked several miles in them right away. They are great and look good with jeans and casual dresses and skirts. I am very happy!

These shoes are cute and comfortable. The red color looks great with any color pants -- it's a muted color with a hint of brown so it doesn't scream "red shoes!" I normally wear between an 8.5 and 9. I purchased a 9 in these as they looked close-fitting, and I wanted to be able to wear socks with them. The 9 fits well, though if I am wearing thin, no-show socks my heel lifts out a bit when I walk. If I wear normal-weight socks it is not a problem. They did rub a small blister on the back of my heel during the first few days wearing them, but eventually softened up and no longer rub. The leather is holding up against sweaty feet and rainy, muddy sidewalks -- I love that I can wipe them down and not worry about mud stains like I need to with canvas shoes.

Cute but don't fit right. I just got these, tried them on & walked around the house. They are loose & scratchy on my heels, rubbed up and down when I walked. I don't have narrow feet just narrow heels. Don't think these will be comfortable.

Reference: In most shoes, I am a 6.5; own TWO pairs already of the wool version of the Keds Crashback and love them. My feet tend to be on the narrow side--a little wider in the toe box with a narrower heel. Ordered size 6.5 in the leather version for an upcoming trip to Japan. The fit is a little more snug with the leather version, but I am keeping them because I know leather stretches a bit. I usually wear thin no-show socks with my Keds Crashbacks. This leather version has a little bit of arch support, whereas the wool version is pretty much flat. This shoe is simply styled, well made, flattering and attractive on the foot. It is lightweight, not clunky/chunky and will go with most everyday/casual wear. I hope they never stop making this shoe--cute and comfortable--; I wish I hadn't spent more than twice the price on a similar style by a different brand in cognac leather... I'd prefer these any day hands' down!

Love these! Super comfortable, cute and affordable. I especially like that the soles are not as thick as the Vans. The cognac leather is also very pretty. I'll probably order these shoes in the black as well.

Don't let the name of the color fool you, these are definitely true to pictured - a nice soft tan/brown. Not at all gray. These are great if you're looking for a quick slip-on shoe for walking around town. They don't have a ton of support, but they are very comfortable and don't rub anywhere - not even on the heel. I particularly like that they are leather to give them a little more class than a canvas slip-on.

I've been eyeing these shoes for quite a while and was so excited to order and start wearing them. I wore them around the house to make sure they were the correct size. I wanted them to fit somewhat snug at first (which they were) because I figured the leather would stretch out a little bit. After wearing them indoors for a day, I decided they were keepers and brought them with me on vacation the next day. So cute, comfortable and versatile! I loved the shoes and wore them for three days, however at that point I noticed that they were feeling loose and started slipping on my heels. I would say that the leather stretched so much that they feel at least a half size too big, now. I didn't notice anyone in the reviews saying anything about them stretching out after a few days...I wish I had known! I am really bummed, but hopefully this will be a word of warning for future purchasers to order a half size down.

In spite of the comfort I am returning these shoes because they make a loud squeaking sound if not on carpet.

This is my first pair in black (I’ve had several of the grey) and I Love them! Through my previous orders of this style, I’ve found they fit best half a size down.

This is a very cute shoe! It’s lightweight and looks nice on. The heel should come up higher as it rubs my ankles and may cause blisters. The pair I ordered had the white trim coming loose from the leather!

Very cute shoe! I ordered this both in my usual size (7.5) and Zappos's recommended size (7). The 7 was snug at first but then stretched out just enough within a few wears. The 7.5 fit initially, with socks, but my heel slipped after a few steps. Very nice darker tan color - not brown. Comfortable enough to wear all day at work.

I get compliments on these every time I wear them! They are very comfortable, but look much nicer than just a regular pair of tennis shoes. These are my "go to" pair for all of my casual outfits. I have slightly wide feet, but I ordered my usual size (6.5) and after a few days of wear they had worn in to fit very well and be comfortable. If they seem kind of tight around your foot and perhaps cut in a bit at the top, I think you'll find a few days of wear stretches them out and smoothes the edges so they will be very comfortable.

Love these, but they don't breath well so avoid wearing them on hot days.

These shoes fit true to size are are really comfortable from the first wear. I get compliments all the time on them and I like how they're a more pulled together casual shoe.

I love this shoe. I have a hard time finding shoes that fits well. I wear a size 11 and usually find shoes in that size to be too wide so even if they are long enough, my foot slides forward and my toes get crunched. I feel like shoe designers think that if you wear an 11, you must have a square foot like Shrek’s. Anyway, this shoe looks great with jeans, skirts or slacks and is a true size 11 M. They are really cute and stylish, and I love the comfort of a sneaker in a shoe that looks much dressier than a sneaker.

Great casual shoe. The right shoe was a little tight on my right at first due to a bunion, but stretched out in a matter of a day. Never was uncomfortable. Love the look. I get many compliments.

I purchased two pairs of these Keds Crashback Leather shoes because I couldn't choose between the two brown colors online. I wanted to see them in person. The truth is, I loved both colors and had a hard time deciding in person, too. Both were very nice. Both were versatile and would have gone with lots of things in my closet. Ultimately, I ended up choosing the Fog Gray over the Cognac Brown. I did prefer that color ever so slightly, and I do think I made the right choice for myself, but I don't think one can go wrong with either color. I typically wear a size 11 in most shoes, but in some brands and styles I wear a 12. These size 11's were an absolutely perfect fit. I get compliments on these cute, current, casual shoes every single time I wear them! I'm surprised! They're my first pair of Keds in years! I'm so happy to re-discover them. :)

These sneakers are extremely comfortable. They feel like I am wearing bedroom slippers, and no “break-in” was required. The FOG GREY color is definitely brown.

My usual size fit nicely. I wish they were more supportive and had a thicker sole, like the double decker Keds. (I tried but find the double deckers too narrow for my Med foot). Cute to throw on and run the streets, but not supportive enough for standing and walking all day. I have the Ugg Cas and Naturalizer Marianne and they are much better for all day wear.

I love the style and simplicity of these shows so much. I live in a city and do a lot of walking so these are a great in between for comfort and style. Sadly they’re too narrow for my feet, so I won’t be buying another pair. Pretty please make a wide version of these available, they would become my favorite go to shoes!

I wanted to love these, they have no arch support and the back digs into my heal. It didn't improve with wear, sadly I don't reach for these very often.

Please bring these back! The thicker sole on the new version is not as attractive to me.

The fit was just fine for me. I wanted a comfortable, knock-around shoe to wear with socks, indoors and out, for fall and winter - while working from home. These fit the bill perfectly!
