AWSOME! I have a little "tummy" and "muffin top" issue and need help looking smooth and sleek. This shaper is absolutely WONDERFUL...very firming due to the internal tummy panels and high waist feature; leg length is just right and can be worn with skirts, dresses, including a slinky cocktail dress, or even pants and of course jeans. It is SO comfortable it can be worn all day and evening...you will forget you are wearing it. Wear over panty hose or thigh hi stockings if this is your preference. The only real down side is putting it on.....just allow a few extra minutes and do not be in a hurry....its tight and needs to be slowly worked on, but once you have it on and adjusted to you, the results are quite spectacular....flat tummy and shaped waist and the rear "butt" pockets will shape you. They feel a little unusual at first but definitely support and shape your "caboose". A little expensive but well worth the cost. Try this style...you will not be disappointed. I think that this will become my go to shape wear, especially on one of those "fat days" when nothing seems to fit. Cheers, Roberta R

I was surprised that they stayed in place so well. I got the size that the size chart recommended and was thrilled it worked. In the past I usually had to buy one size up. Overall I am really happy with the purchase!

These are 20% spandex, so pretty firm, (24% is the highest spandex content spanx has I think) --except for some reason Spanx are leaving the butt out of the compression... so if you have a sitting job you'll end up with what I call a shelf butt, and Spanx isn't going to help keep that fat compressed. Also, the leg is too short in my opinion, leaving an indentation where they end on your leg with long term use. Most of the control is in the tummy and waist, none in the butt, mild over the thigh These are very comfortable and don't roll down. I wear size 3, 5'5", 192 lbs. I wore these after my liposuction surgery at the suggestion of my surgeon, for 6 weeks post op, pretty much 24/7. They did start to give but putting them in the dryer shrunk them back to shape. One pair just disintegrated (what where you buy them, I think the lower quality go to the clearing houses like Zulily.com -- but that's just my opinion) with both leg hems ripping out -- still wearable and actullay made the legs the length I wanted, but not having the compression I wanted because they are otherwise double layered when hem is intact.

I could no longer find the style of Spanx that I've worn for years and admit I was a bit disappointed. Came across these and thought I'd give them a try. Well.....I'm back today to purchase a 2nd pair. These are awesome! Much better than the style I was wearing. These are easier to put on....albeit it's not a fast process by any stretch. However, once on they are comfortable and most importantly smoothing, and the legs stay in place. Whoohoo!! They lift and shape my derriere, and I assure you that's no small feat. Try them ladies, you will not be disappointed.

By far the BEST shaper I have ever owned, and it's been a LOT of trial and error. Get it, you won't be disappointed. I got 2!

I am 5'8" 200 lbs size 16. Ordered XL. It fits well and is as comfortable as this type of garment can be. It holds me in in all of the right spots and gives a smoothe appearance.

Fit wonderfully. Keep you from "jigging" but not uncomfortable at all.

I originally purchased this in a size larger, but they didn't "hold me in" enough, way too easy to put on... so I purchased a the smaller size and they worked perfectly! I wore these under my wedding dress and for several wedding related occasions. Thank you Zappos for your wonderful service as always!

I wanted to love this Spanx, but it came up short when the top back rolled down. Great design, comfortable everywhere else, but I returned it.

NOT for you if you want to look nice and breathe; very disappointed; however, had I tried on garments such as these before I would have had a better perspective on what I was getting myself in to!! I will definitely be returning, plus can't rely on delivery date that is given when you order. Customer service is very pleasant and attempts to be helpful!
