Wanted to like these shoes as I have several Stella bags and believe in use of non-leather. However these were not comfortable for me. The instep is very high and the "tongue" of the shoe is attached and not adjustable. So it is hard to get your foot in the shoe, and I have very narrow feet/ankles. That made it hard to wear with ankle socks - I had to use my "footsie" no-show socks and it worked better. The upper looked plastic-y and there just wasnt enough style to make it worthwhile. However, the tread is good and could imagine that it would have good grip on various terrains. I'm between 7 and 7.5, and I found the 7 a bit small esp. because I didn't think it would stretch the way that leather does.

I love these shoes! They look great with my fall/winter wardrobe. I get lots of compliments. I put insoles in mine to up the comfort factor. They are less cushy than running shoes. I need the extra arch support.

I had a plantar fascia rupture in April and was in a boot cast for 9 weeks. I’m now allowed to wear sneakers with the green Super Feet inserts. Since I will be in sneakers for a while, I decided I’m going to make the best of it and at least attempt to wear stylish sneakers. I purchased the adidas by Stella McCartney Adizero Xt in dark wine in a size 7.5 and 8 since this is the first time I have purchased anything from this line and I didn’t know how they ran size-wise. My normal shoe size is a 7.5 and with the green Super Feet inserts, these fit perfectly. I went ahead and ordered the black ones as well since these really feel good on my feet. I can’t tell you how they perform with exercise since I’m really not supposed to be on my feet very much, but they are very comfortable and stylish if that’s what you are looking for.
